Timing

Everything was a blur. My thoughts were all right All of a sudden, everything changed.

My Dad is confined due to his sickness. A common sickness that killed millions, Hypertension. My half if a month staying away from him, his sickness attacked him. While I am busy, flirting...yes flirting, my father is in his goddamn hospital bed, trying to cure himself, encouraging himself. But in his third attack, which last night, it was almost... almost God get him away from me.

He's laying helplessly in this white bed, machines were on all over him. We need to wear something for the safety of the visitors because of too much medicines inside.

I'm holding his hand right now. My tears is unlimited. I blamed myself. Everything he does is always for me. Why I stayed like this, even if Dad is too kind to me? I'm irresponsible and careless. I should the one laying on there, not you Daddy.

I spent half and one day in the hospital. Taking care of him but there's no improvement. He still not conscious, if 48 hours passed and he's not awake, the Doctor will test him once more, and if badluck is with us, he'll be in coma.

He's on his way to see me, and Daddy. I told him that Dad isnt fine. That's why he's going here.

I am staring at my Dad, a glass in between us, i'm outside of his room checking him through watching his heartbeat in the monitor. Look Dad, i cant lose you too.

"Miss Ahra. They will have a board meeting later at Claveria Corp." Secretary said, while looking at her tablet.

"And why are you reporting that to me?" my brows rose.

"Ma'am, its a board meeting, about dismissing your Daddy."

My eyes rounded because of what she just said. She look at me like I am the most precious girl who can help her.

"And what can I do to that meeting?" she kept her eyes on me, and face me.

"As a heiress of the Claveria Corporation , you should participate on the said meeting. Since Mr. Claveria cant make it,"

My brows rose even more.

"Are you out of your mind? I dont know how to handle meetings!" I am now panicking.

"I'll be there Miss Ahra. We just need your presence there. There's a lot of people who wanted to take over your Dad's seat. He's the Director, and two or more of the Board Members, wanted to get the position. And if you care for your Dad , Miss. You need to attend the meeting. That would be later after lunch. 1 PM sharp,"

Because of what she said, I prepared. I wear the most expensive and beautiful dress made by the famous designer in the Hollywood, named it.

Its color peach, that makes my skin look more brighter. Its assymetrical and body fit, hugging my body up to my knee and a little cut to see my thigh. I know its not formal, but its decent.

I matched it with a black high heels. My prada bag is waiting for me. I fixed myself there's no use of my personal make-up artist. I'm in a hurry.

12:30 NOON when I got to the company. Everyone, the employees and other people are gazing at me. Seems like it's the first time they saw me. We'll. That's the fact though.

My Dad, wont let me go here.

"The meeting will be start Madame," the other Secretary called me through intercom. I'm at my Dad's office, calming myself. When I calmed myself I went out. I also texted Jalius to rescheduled his visit, and just meet me later at night, he agreed.

"Good afternoon everyone," I greeted. They all stand up and clap their hands, I raised my hand to stop them , they smiled and sit. I remained my serious face, I relly won't show them I'm scared. Hell no!

"This is your first time in this kind of meeting Ahra," one of Daddy's colleague said.

"Yes," i said confidently, how many times do i have to tell you everyone, that I am honest!

I saw the disappointment. They look at each other, sharing their opinions using their eyes. Calm down Ahra! You can do this!

"But that doesnt mean that i cant participate on what we're going to discuss,"  I said calmly.

The people infront of me look at me intently. Maybe they didn't expect that coming from an eighteen years old. Oh man, to tell you, im so nervous!

"So, we're about to discuss about Director Claveria's leave-"

My brows rose. I wanted to stop him from spitting shit, but that's being impatient. We're talking about manners here Ahra. Calm your nerves!

"Yes. Miss Ahra, your Dad cant handle the Claveria's so we're here to vote who's the right and capable person that can replace your Dad, for a couple of months," the old man said without watching his words!

"And what do you call me? I am his daughter, the Heiress. I know my work and intelligent isnt proven yet. But you can't just neglect me,"

I look at them, one by one.

"This isnt a training ground hija. We're talking the company and the capability of a man who'll be in charge to make the sales high," the Old man said.

"For almost a two decade or more than. Claveria's hotel are known as five star hotel and rate more than a million every year. Now tell me, are the Claveria Corp. didn't earn enough?"

Everyone stop from speaking. They all look at me.

"And that is your Dad's work-"

"Exactly. My Dad's work. And i can do that also. The wise-business man type is my Dad, and its runs in the blood. Ofcourse, i prove you gentlemen and ladies, that i am also capable of handling my soon to be Company,"

Most of them claps, but there's few who's not pleased. Whatever.

That meeting ends up giving me the right to manage the Claveria Corp. Director-incharge is what I am entitled. And how can I do that?!

"Love. I'm here," I said while waiting this is a seat for two. Its a date.

"Be there, sorry late" he said in the line. The call dropped, and after a few minutes he's here already, he is not late, I am just early.

He's in his suit and slacks, he's so handsome with those deep set eyes but snobbish aura. I smirked. The waitress talked to him, and afterwards he's now in front of me.

He wento to me to kissed my cheeks and go back to his seat.

"How's the meeting?" he ask while the waiter is pouring wine in our glass.

"Exhausting," i said matter of factly. "I wished he woke up, I didn't wanna managed a business yet," I said.

If i failed from this work. Nothing will happen! Hid hardwork will gone into waste! I jusy wished I let the board members do that for Dad. Im just eighteen, and what Eighteen girl can do? Make a mess? Damn it!

"I know you can do it,"

"Claveria's hotel has total of 25 branches every where, international and Local. The restaurants is as same as the hotel's count. Now tell me, how can I do that?!"

He chuckled at that. He held my hands that's on the table.

"Of course, you have to analize everything, study your Company, learn from your employees and be intelligent and wise,"

"What if i failed?" I didn't know but the question keeps on bothering me.

"You wont. Trust me. You have potentials and you're a smart girl. I know you can do it. And i'm always here to guide and love you," he said, smiling.

My heart pound at that , i smiled too.

The food are served. Our talk went into different topic. Until we end up kissing inside the car, I just found myself at the bed with Jal.

Panting and asking for more. Of course. He as insanitable man, he wont be tired quickly while doing this thing.

"Jal" my voice isnt familiar at all. This what he do to me!

"Yes Love?" he touched me more there while moving his thing inside me.

Damned. I close my eyes and feel every moment. I know this wont happen again.

He took me in every position he knew, and i enjoy it. When i checked  the wallclock in this suite. Its already 2AM.

I touched his face and smiled quickly.

"You want to have family with me?" his voice is too serious i couldnt take it. He sounds asking me for a married. But like befofe, it's not on a good timing.

"Jal. I'm going to handle the Claveria Corp starting today," I said in a sad tone.

"Yeah of course," i feel his sadness. I just rejected him.

"I'm sorry. I just want to be with you all the damn time," he said and hug me tight. I nodded and hug him tightly.

When the timing is perfect , Love. I'm not even going to think. Being your wife is my dream Jal. If you just knew.

The days pass so quick.

Meetings there, meeting here.

Interview there, interview here.

But every weekends of my hell weeks I'm at Jalius Condo. We're sharing different stories and end up cuddling.

He's sweet, no wonder why i like him so much.

"Mom," i heard his voice broke.

I'm inside his bathroom, took a bath and about to went out, but i heard him calling his Mom.

I opened the door a bit to heard everything.

"Son, i want you to come here. I'm sick and dying..." she sobbed.

"Mom, i cant leave my girlfriend here," he said firmly.

"Can you took care of me first?" i heard the pain in her voice.

"And accept your Tito's proposal here in Barcelona. You'll be known, if you work here," she said in a very sure tone.

"Mom. I'll think about it," he said and ended the video call in skype.

I stayed minutes in the bath room. Thinking about what his Mom told him. Now, Ahra. You're being unfair again. Will you now decide fairly? That will benefit the both of you.

You know, you need to focus on your Dad's company, and he needed to focus on his Mother. Decide.

I went out the bathroom, carrying the decision I made.

"Love" i said sweetly and sit beside him. He smiled at me and hug me from the side.

"Yes?" he smiled genuinely.

"I heard, someone ask you to be their Engineer in Barcelona. You didn't want to?"

His smile faded, he look at me darkly like i did wrong.

"Jal. I'm just thinking about you, and your future, being an Engineer. If you're stuck here, nothing will happen," i said matter of factly.

"Ahra. I'm here because I wanted to do everything with you,"

I looked at him and i smile. I cupped his face and look at his features, strong jaw line, straight nose, thin yet pouty lips, thick eyebrow, two set of deep-eyes , it's brown, expressive and snobbish, thick eye lashes. What can i say is, he's too handsome.

"I'm not going to be mad if you do that. And youre going home if you're free. And im telling you Engineer, my trust to you is overflowing,"

He look at me like he didnt believe me, all i can do is hug him.
