Prologue

PROLOGUE

What do you expect to a girl who only wanted is to see the world, to watch the sunset and sunrise, to define colors, to memorize lines, to walk without any guide, to look at the mirror and see what she looks like.

Yes. A blind girl has that simple dream. A simple dream that she knew it wont happen. She's not lucky to her parents, and still not lucky to her own eyes.

Been hid at the forest with her one handmaid and tutor. She's a daughter of a wealthy couple, though she didn't have anything. She didn't have what her twin had.

She feel envious always. She don't know what is red. She don't know what is black. She don't know what is yellow, orange, violet, green, blue, white...Her life is like water, colorless...no color. No life.

"What are you thinking?" i heard guy asked me that, he's maybe at the window again. I already knew who he is.

"What time it is?" i asked. I didn't even know where he is, is he at the left or right? Even the location gave a pain in my ass.

"It's five in the afternoon Eco" he said seriously.

"It's almost sunset," i smiled. And he's so silent right now, he's not like this. He was jolly, he always makes me laugh whenever I'm sad. At my 20 years of staying here.

He is the only one who helped me to go at the river, or even to go at the garden. He listened on my rants and all. He was my bestfriend.

"I needed to go," I can recognize what he feel the way using his voice. His voice is too low, I know he already have a problem.

"What is it Kiko?" I asked him. I am curious of course.

"Don Florence will stop their manufacturing, and we still didn't know the reason,"

Because of what Kiko told me, I got confused. Why my Dad would close the factory? Its the only factory we have, that's our source of income. And as well as the people at this place.

"I need to go at the City to find job," he really sound so sad. I don't know how to make him happy. My father...closed the factory. What about my Mom? What about Nieves?

I still wanna heard Kiko's stories. But my Nanny called me, I have a visitor. My heart beat so hard after receiving a hug. This is the hug I wanna feel for so long...

Nieves Caroline Fuentellaba. My twin sister. The one who has everything I want. A happy family. And eyes.

"Gosh. I don't know why Daddy let you live here," i heard the irritation at her voice. What does she looks like? What are her likes? Are we going to be close? Is she going to get me? Are we going to live together?

"Edrich Coss Fuentellaba i'm here to asked you a favor," she said directly.

"Y-you're not going to get me?"

I heard a quick insulting laugh from her. My heart sank because of that. I didn't know why they are hiding me am I a disgrace, is it wrong to have a blind child and sister?

If she's going to think I am a burden, she's wrong. Why is she here then? What kind of favor is that? Is she just here to ask me favor?

"Calm down my twin," she sweetly spat. I felt her hands on me. I felt the darkness. I finally knew that...

"My Dad will close the factory, and we need your help to get it back from that bullshit billionaire" base on her story, someone steal the Factory.. And who is he?

"Who get the factory?"

"Its Khal Mondelvalle." And now she started telling me stories about that Khal. I don't know. But I instantly got pissed of him, he enter the Factory to act as stock holder, but she's already a spy.

"We lost the factory because of his wrong accusations. Telling us that Daddy's a illegal drug dealer. And create a wine with drugs on it. How is that possible?" she sounds so damn irritated.

I sighed heavily. I know Khal's probably right. Where will he really get a lot of Money, when in fact the Factory is not as known as the Mondelvalles. But to steal the Factory on my Dad, that's wrong. Khal is wrong.

"That Khal is evil. He even wanted me to be his sex slave in a month, after using my body, he'll give us back the Factory and turned down the case on Dad,"

She continue telling me stories, until I understands it...

"You wanted me to be you? How can I do that Nieves! I can't see anything, I'm blind,"

I was so frustrated, and I don't even like her idea. That was ridiculous! Who's stupid girl will accept to be a sex slave, of a monster!

"That's not a problem," Nieves chuckled and I heard a 3 shoot, and screamed. I screamed because of shock.

"Your handmaid loves you so much Eco. Now you already have a donor," she giggled. I was so shock, I am sobbing already, I used my steel who became my guide. I trembled after feeling a body laying beside me! I sob even more and I received a slap.

"Don't you dare cry my twin. You can finally see! You will thank me for sure!"

"I didn't like you way Nieves! How can you do that!" I yelled. She didn't even listen, I just heard her speak nasty...

"You're one useless bitch that's why you're here. The reason why Mom and Dad doesn't want you around!"

I trembled, I wanna feel the hatred and anger, but how. I know they hate me. I know Nieves is right.

"And now you can finally help us. Youre being hesitant! You just need to took operation and be me. Have sex with Khal and done. What's wrong with that Eco!"

"Yes, I can't see Nieves. And I know what's dignity is, and I don't wanna lose that," I said calmly.

"Useless!" i can feel a metal thing at the side of my head.

"I'll kill you right away,"

I trembled and fear her because of her serious voice. I didn't know how can she managed to do this. She's too desperate!

"W-why don't you do w-what Khal wanted?" new tears falls in my cheeks.

"Because, I'm pregnant"

Because i'm too shock, I can't even react.

"And Daddy knew it. That's why im here to asked help to you Eco. Our family needs you. We need your help,"

And that's the reason why I agree. I agreed for our family business, and for my soon to be nephew or niece. Well. She cant do sexual stuff because she's pregnant.

The plan starts, i took the operation. I changed my look and style. Daddy, Mommy and Nieves stayed at States. And I was left here to accomplish the mission they gave me.

"Is this Nieves Fuentellaba?" i heard a baritone voice from the speaker.

"Yes. This is Nieves"

The gate opened. Too modern, they don't need bodyguards. But they still have guards. A white horse stopped in front of me. He let me ride at the back.

The place is so enchanted... and beautiful....

"Miss Fuentellaba, already came," i heard a girl said that. I stepped at stair case before reaching the double doors. A maid get my stuffs and luggage.

I didn't smile a bit. Nieves didn't smile at all. That's what she told me. After a month if operation on my eyesight, the first thing I saw is Nieves. We're twins so I already knew what I look like. The reason why Khal is deadly in love with her because... She's beautiful and sexy...

"Even though you stayed at forest for years, you still look so beautiful, as well as your body," Nieves praised me. "Khal won't noticed it, we really look a like. Lets just curl your hair. Boom. You'll be me!" and she clap her hands.

I smiled and look at her. I saw a mirror behind her and look at my reflection...this is what I looks like... so this is the.... feeling.. of having an... eyes. Now. I can define what black is. I can watch the sunset, stars and sunrise. I can see how beautiful the river and sea are. I can finally described it now...

I can finally live at peace...

"You just need to follow his whims if he wanted to have sex with you! Do it! Don't be hesitant! Always remember that he have our factory."

I nodded. "What about his looks?" I asked.

"We're really are twins," she laugh excitedly " Well, his looks are already a bonus. JUST, no feelings involve! Khal is just for physique. Fuck and leave. Don't fell in love, he'll just use your body for pleasure." she winked.

That's what I told myself.

"Welcome to my mansion Nieves" this is the voice I heard from the speaker! So this must be! Khal Mondelvalle!

"You look so gorgeous Nieves," he said and caress my cheeks, its gentle like he wants you to obey all his commands.

"You're sleeping in my room, young lady. Take a bath, so I can bed you" RUDE!

And he left me there, I heard how he command all the people here. Nieves' right. Khal just want sex. He only wanted to bed me. And why Nieves? Look at him, he's like an Adonis. His built, his face...he looks like the Prince I always imagined, everytime my yaya told me fairytale-stories. But... real Prince are just at books. I proved it today.

"Let's go Ma'am Nieves. The Master Bedroom is at the second floor," the maid said.
