My father's killer

Gemma's POV 

 I went to the bathroom to pack my toiletries and I saw a man in the bathroom. 

He saw me and pointed a gun at me , as I was trying to find a way to take the gun from him. 

Someone came from behind and injected me and I slowly began to lose consciousness. 

That last thing I saw was the ceiling as I felt them carry me and I blacked out completely.

I woke up in a room that looked like a room in a hospital. 

There were two hospital beds and the room was painted white.

 I was seated on a chair with my hands tied behind the chair. 

All my efforts to break out of the chair didn't work.

Just as I was struggling with the chair, an elegantly dressed woman came  into the room.

"Who are you ? ! What do you want from me ?!" I shouted at her. 

"No need to get all worked up ,Chica. We are not going to hurt you unless you make us" she replied. 

There was a knock on the door and she went and opened and two people walked in.

I looked at the face of one of them and froze.

"Mom" I whispered.

 I also looked at the other person and it was that psycho that was killing people in Alaska.

"Mom, what is going on?! " I asked.

 "Well baby let me first introduce you to your aunt Mary and uncle Richard" she said pointing at the elegantly dressed woman and that killer.

 "Wait, what?"

"Yes baby we are siblings" she replied

 "Whatever mom,  just untie me please" I pleaded. "Not until we make a deal" she replied waving a folder at me.

 "What kind of deal? '' I asked. 

She came closer to me and opened the folder and placed it on my lap. 

I looked at it and written at the top of the folder was "project sunshine"

" Wasn't Dad working on this project before he died?" I asked .

''Yes he was" aunt Mary replied.

 "But he was too stubborn so your mom got rid of him'' she continued .

"Got rid of him?, Mom, are you the one that killed Dad?" I shouted . 

"oops Bex, I thought she knew" she said to my mom. 

" Yes I killed him,Gemma" my mom replied.

"And all these years you were bent on finding his killer not knowing that it was me" she continued.

The tears flowed uncontrollably as I asked her "why did you do it?".

 "It is classified, baby and I did it for you" she answered.

Then my "aunt Mary" clapped her hand and said "so the first part of your operation is to gather all your Dad' s hidden documents". 

"No I won't do it ,never" I spat. 

"Well let me show you something" she said and collected a remote from my mom and brought down the television. 

She switched it on and the first thing I saw was a girl drinking coffee at an outdoor restaurant, wait, that is not some girl that was Tammy. 

As I was trying to figure out why they showed me Tammy, my mom cleared the confusion.

 "As we speak now, Tammy is drinking coffee as shown in the video not knowing that a sniper is trained on her, and the trigger would be pulled if her best friend doesn't behave accordingly" she explained.

"Have you been this evil and wicked mom?" I asked.

"Yes, baby I was born this way" she replied.

It was at this moment that I knew that this was planned even before we came to this concert. 

"Fine I will do it just don't hurt her" I said. 

"Promise me mom that you won't hurt her" I said.

"Cross my heart and hope to die" she promised.

They untied me and took me to another room where I was shown the location where those hidden documents might be.

 The locations were Dundee in Scotland, Limerick in Ireland,Swansea in Wales and Sheffield in England all in the United kingdom.

"We have sent research teams to all these locations and if they return you will begin your investigation, but first there is someone you need to see" my mom said and led me to another room.

There was nothing in the room except a desk and chair with a laptop. I looked at the far end of the room and saw someone, no I don't think that is a human being.

It is surely a robot because it wasn't moving and also not blinking at all. 

I walked closer to it and wanted to touch it but it swiftly stooped my hand.

"Don't touch me" he said in a clear deep voice.

 I looked at my mom and she said "that is Zach, and I know what you are thinking he is not a robot but a SupH".

"What is a SupH?" I asked  

" SupH is the abbreviation of super human, Zach is one of our most successful experiment of the SupH. They have faster speed, more thinking ability and very good at combat and good in everything" she explained.

"So he is a human but more advanced than an average human being?" I asked. 

"Yes" she replied.

 "And he is going to be your partner" she continued. 

"That's ridiculous, Rebecca you know I work alone" Zach said looking at me disdainfully. 

"And you think I want to be your partner Zacharias?" I asked.

"Just Zach is acceptable," he said and stormed out of the room.

"Don't worry about him, let me show your room" my mom said and started leaving the room and I followed her behind. 

She showed me my room  and left. The room was quite decent and a little girly, so I took a shower and started analysing the documents I was given. All the research and investigation that has been made before did not yield results. By the records on the documents the investigations began even before I was born, no even before my parents married.

My guess is that my mom was investigating the sunshine project, found out my Dad was the owner, married him, tried to extract information about the project, but couldn't do that so she killed him. 

I thought my world fell on the day my father died but it didn't, that was just the beginning.

At that moment I made up my mind that my mom would pay dearly for her crimes. 

But first we are going to play a game and she is going to lose.

Later in the evening my aunt Mary brought me some food which I ate and slept .
