Chapter three: Alpha and Hailey

Still in Alpah Leo's house, he has traveled out to have a meeting with his business associate and has instructed his security men not to let Zyra out of the house. She should only be seen around the compound for two hours, after which she goes in to her room.

To him, Zyra doesn't deserve freedom of movement, and he knew that she might escape if she eventually leave the compound.

Meanwhile, Zyra was still sleeping when the old Chloe came into the house.

Chloe had her own apartment in the Alpha Leo house, build by alpha for her.

Chloe was the only woman who knew much about how Zyra came to fall into Charlie's hands, the Alpha Leo mother.

Walking down to Zyra's room, she was seen by Lynn.

"What has brought you here this morning? Haven't you been served breakfast?" Lynn asked, seeing that Chloe barely visits them or sees them in the normal building, and to her, she thought Chloe have come to seek for her breakfast.

"I have come to see Zyra; I know Alpha has traveled, so it is a great opportunity to see her." She replied, Lynn.

"Well, she is still asleep. I have woken her up to have her breakfast, but she seems not to answer me. I think she slept late last night. Of course she has a swallowing face." Lynn was speaking and looking around to see if her voice had been heard by someone else.

"Take me to her room, and please get her food along with you." Old Chloe speaks, putting her right hands at her back as she walks slowly.

They both got to Zyra's room. Chloe sat beside Zyra bed and called on her.

"Zyra, wake up; here is old Chloe," she sounded, but Zyra had heard her voice as one dreaming. She had no strength to wake up at that moment. Chloe then turned Zyra's face and noticed how swallowing the face was and again knew that it was Alpha Leo that had done this to her.

While touching Zyra, Zyra felt the pain and opened her eye.

" Ha.! She sounded, feeling the pains that surrounded her face. When she asked about Alpha Leo, she was told that he had traveled out this morning; he never told her.

"I think you need to take some pain relief to relieve you of the pains that come from the beating he has given you." Chloe suggested and asked that she be helped to the bathroom by Lynn, where she would brush and then have her breakfast.

This was done to Zyra, after which Chloe began to explain to her the history that brought her, be Zyra into Sharlene life.

"Sharlene isn't your mother." She sounded.

Zyra got shocked; she had her mouth open and seemed not to believe her.

"Then who is she to me?" She said.

"You lost your parents in a car accident, after which you were brought to Sharlene by Charlie, Sharlene is your namny and not your biological mother." Chloe continued to narrate the whole story until she was done narrating it.

"Is that why he never wanted me in the first place? After loving him and breaking my virginity, he has now turned me into a slave. And have deprived me freedom of movement." She wept while she continued to hear more.

It was a secret to be kept just between her and Chlot.

By then, Lynn has gone to attend to other things concerning Zyra in the house.

"I hear the sound of your voice whenever he beats and molests you, but I have no strength to help you out. He might as well pushed me down if I have come to rescue you, which may lead to an injury,that if not death, seeing that am.old. Since he is heartless and doesn't regard ages,"

"You know him better than me; and again, Sharlene was never my mother." Asked Zyra, she wept again.

Chloe comforted her and asked her not to weep anymore.

While talking, Zyra ran to vomit in the toilet; she had it done twice. Chloe, looking at her, understands that she is already Pregnant.

"You are pregnant!" she said to Zyra with a smiling face.

"I don't think so; this is just a fever; moreover, it has been a long time since I treated fever."

"Based on your illustration, it has been two weeks since he had sex with you, but that doesn't matter; the first sex he had with you might have resulted in this. To be frank with you, dear, you are pregnant; just go. Don't. Reveal it to him, yet.

Again, allow him to have you the way he wanted, if only you want to preserve the Pregnancy. Obey his instruction; remember that he never loved you, and as it stands, he is not yet ready to let you go. The reason may be that he hasn't found the woman his heart beats for." She paused and continue " he had hated you much, so also, he will hate your baby. But Don't worry, I will tell you what to do once the pregnancy starts growing." She advised her.

"I still do not believe you; I need to see a doctor, but how will I do that since I am not permitted to go out?" She complained.

"Just believe me." Chloe added.

Meanwhile, Alpha after the meeting for the day, he went for a club party which was organized by his fellow business mate. He enjoyed the party, had a wonderful gathering, and knew more.

"It is so nice to be wealthy; you gain command and almost all you want. Who on earth won't want to be with the wealthiest man on earth?" He was already proud and boasting about what he had gotten. "I will keep enjoying life till I die, and if possible, buy life." He added, saying the impossible and bragging about his wealth the more.

Already, most of the ladies there have heard about his coming, and despite the fact that they have known him to be married, they still want to be with him.

He was still watching the dancers when Hailey, one of his business colleagues daughters, passed through with her parents. He got his eye on her; Hailey was so beautiful and good to look at.

Hailey noticed his look, she paused more to look into his eye, until she have joined her parents in seeing alpha Leo and having a hand shake with him.

Normally, his chief guard was already around protecting him. Seeing Hailey, Alpha asked his chief body guard to give him space while he spent more time with Hailey's parents.

"Good day, Alpha Leo." Aiden said standing and had a handshake with Alpha, so also his wife Evelyn Hailey's mother.

Alpha asked that they all have their seats, and by then he had asked the two ladies sitting with him to give way, simply because he wanted to see Hailey sit with him.

"The meeting went well, and I believe tomorrow will be the final gathering." Aiden added, after which he sipped from the expensive wine served to him.

Alpha didn't mind listening to what he was saying; his attention was placed on Hailey. As she ate, he watched the way she moved her mouth.

"You didn't tell me that you have a beautiful lady like this. Are we having issues?" He asked, and this time around he acted so kind.

"She just came into the country after five years of studying outside the country, and needed to work" Aiden said more, and how Hailey have successfully completed her studies.

"She has to resume in my company as soon as possible." Said Alpha.

Alpah also put a call to his personal assistance and asked him to prepare a vancacy in the company, whose headquarters are precisely in Singapore, where he lives, and if non, Hailey will be working with the Secretary.

"It is done, sir," said his assistance.

"Congratulations, you have been employed", He said to Hailey and kept staring at her so romantically. In his heart, he imagined making her his wife; meanwhile, her beauty wasn't comparable to Zyra's, just that he never loved Zyra while Zyra loved him with all her heart.

"Just like that?" Hailey asked, be surprised for the job granted to her even without an interview, in addition, she stood and hugged him.

"Thanks, Alpha Leo," her parents echo.
