Chapter 13 It was my mistake.

The moment he heard the man on the ground calling for help, Macaro was already ready to beat up Leonardo. It was clear that he had to have a deep relationship with the man who had been beaten just now. Leonardo snapped his neck. He was ready for combat.

Viola's bodyguards initially wanted to help him, but Viola waved them off. Viola and Adele were standing next to each other and whispering something; it was obvious that the subject of their discussion was Leonardo.

"Come on brother-in-law!" Viola shouted, afraid she would not be heard.

Macaro approached Leonardo and said, "Well, I see you have a lot of courage. If you dare make trouble, I will make sure you remember that the world is not your playground."

Macaro called his men and they rushed to Leonardo. Leonardo had a relaxed expression, and his right foot stopped at the tip. When Macaro approached, Leonardo hurled a lightning-fast kick, so fast that he threw five kicks one after the other but they seemed to be thrown at the same time.

The five flew back, and those present were shocked. Viola's bodyguards were professionals, but nevertheless they were stunned at what Leonardo had just done. He was truly powerful.

As soon as Naco arrived on the scene followed by others, he was confronted with that scene. With a dip in his heart, Iaccio felt sick at that scene. It was no wonder that Leonardo was Iaccio's superior, which made him feel even worse.

They hurried to go to Leonardo. As soon as the people in the nightclub saw those people who had a reputation for being no-good coming down the stairs, they thought Leonardo was about to have bread for his teeth.

Viola and Adele also became nervous as soon as they saw Naco. Adele said worriedly, "Wouldn't it be better to end it here? There are too many of them."

"He is very powerful, he will have no problem dealing with them. Besides, if he really gets beaten up by these people, wouldn't that be what you wanted?" Viola looked at Adele smilingly.

Adele sighed and hoped that nothing bad would happen to Leonardo, otherwise Camuso would be very angry with her.

As soon as Naco approached, Leonardo was ready to confront him. Besides, he had already beaten several people; he imagined that these people would be frightened by his skills. He did not expect that instead Naco stopped, still distant from him, and shouted, "Listen, I don't want to fight, don't misunderstand me."

Misunderstand? He had shown up there with a dozen or so people in tow and said it was a misunderstanding, how could he think she would believe him?

Naco saw Leonardo was very angry and thought back to what Iaccio had told him and knelt before Leonardo, "Sir, it was my mistake. I did not teach discipline to my men. We will take these boys away and teach them a lesson."

The people behind Naco were shocked to hear those words. But still they dragged those people away.

Leonardo was puzzled, what was wrong with that boy? The people who knew Naco's identity wondered what was going on.

Adele and Viola were also stunned. Why was he so scared of Leonardo?

They all knelt down in front of Leonardo, who was caught in embarrassment. At that point Leonardo left the nightclub with Viola and Adele. Viola stared at Leonardo.

"Viola, why are you looking at me all the time?" Leonardo looked almost intimidated.

"Why was that guy kneeling in front of you? Maybe I know. You must have been his superior, otherwise why would he talk to you like that?" Viola carefully analyzed the situation. Adele beside her straightened her ears as she waited for Leonardo's response.

When Leonardo came out of the nightclub, she understood that Iaccio must be behind this, otherwise why would Naco behave like that?

"I am your brother-in-law, you know you can trust me. If you don't believe me, ask Adele. I honestly don't know what just happened." Leonardo feigned obliviousness.

"All right, even if you don't tell me about it, I'll still find out." Viola pouted and huffed, like a child who had lost her patience.

Adele was disappointed that she did not get the answer she wanted, but she did not investigate further. Although she was curious to know more about Leonardo, she was always reluctant to have too much contact with Leonardo because she had never had a good impression of him.

Leonardo did not understand how great an impact what had happened had on Adele. All the way home she was very quiet. Viola seemed angry. After entering the palace, she went upstairs maintaining a cold and detached attitude.

When Adele also made to go upstairs, Leonardo finally asked her, "I need to ask a question."

"Go ahead, if you need to tell me something just tell me."

"Where am I going to live? Have you prepared a room for me?" Since she will have to live here, she will obviously need a place to stay.

"Pick any room on the ground floor. Except for the bed, the rooms are empty, you can do whatever you like with it. Besides, your space will only be on the second floor." Adele turned and went upstairs.

"Then from tomorrow I will stay here, now I am going back to my house." Leonardo thought that Viola had so many bodyguards that there would be no danger.

"Whatever." Adele said without looking back.

Leonardo turned around and went home, but he did not know that someone was waiting for him in the dark.
