Adele, beside her, felt helpless. Viola, a woman as beautiful as a fairy, always liked to cause trouble. As they were on their way to come to the nightclub, she had told her to leave Leonardo alone for a while, and let Leonardo know if he could protect Adele.
Leonardo had received training in combat that made him skilled as a secret agent, everyone in the camp esteemed him and knew of his strength, and no one ever dared to be arrogant in front of him.
Because all the people who were arrogant to him then ended up in a wooden box.
"Leave now, or you will regret it." Leonardo looked at the man with a scoff and said, "Don't ruin your life because of such nonsense."
The man did not care what Leonardo said and said coldly, "In front of me you are just a helpless puppy, I will make you suffer like a dog."
The man hit Leonardo in the head with the wine bottle, which shattered into a thousand pieces. Leonardo did not move and was not frightened. It seemed that the bottle hitting his head had no effect on him.
Viola and Adele were stunned at that scene. At first they had threatened the man that Leonardo would teach him a lesson, but now it was Leonardo who was being beaten. Worry and nervousness took over.
Viola's bodyguards would have liked to intervene, but they could not because everything happened suddenly and they were too far away.
As the wine bottle moved closer and closer to Leonardo's head, Leonardo seemed to be lost. Everyone clearly saw the fierce expression on the man's face; he seemed to be about to kill Leonardo.
Everyone thought that Leonardo was now a goner. The women turned their heads not to see that violent scene. But then Leonardo moved. He raised his right hand and reached for the bottle of wine that had just been given to his head.
Without hesitation, Leonardo raised the wine bottle and smashed it on the man's head. The wine bottle burst into a thousand pieces, and the man fell to the ground with a broken and bleeding head. The blood and red wine mingled in a scene that made your skin crawl.
All the people present were shocked. Adele remembered that Leonardo had been a soldier for seven years. It was not difficult for him to get the better of an ordinary man, but she did not expect that even Viola's bodyguards would be shocked at that scene.
Viola covered her mouth with a stunned hand, as if surprised by that scene. Leonardo turned and said, "Let's leave."
"You want to leave like this after beating someone up? You think you intimidate us so easily, you think you can do anything you want?" Before he could turn around, the nightclub music stopped. A boy with a scar on his face, named Macaro Frigo, arrived accompanied by four other people as the crowd made way for him.
"We're not looking for trouble." Leonardo raised his eyebrows slightly, apparently the situation was more complex than expected.
The man on the ground struggled to get up. When he saw Macaro, he shouted, "I said I would make you suffer like a dog. Macaro, help me lay him down."
Macaro laughed and said, "Beating up someone in a nightclub, what did you think you were doing?"
Everyone present looked at that situation thinking that the two girls could not get away with it that night. Viola became angry, "I'm asking you how you plan to resolve the situation. Do you know that I can shut down this nightclub with one phone call? What would you like to do?"
Those present were shocked by the harshness of Viola's words. Everyone knew that the owner of the Dynasty Bar had very important connections in Lingo. No one would have believed that Viola could have shut them down with a phone call, but Leonardo and the others knew she was not joking.
At that moment, there were two men in the control room: one man was sitting in a chair monitoring the situation through the cameras, and the other was partly shaking and sweating.
"Iaccio, what do we do with these people?" The man next to him asked in a low voice, immediately understanding what was going through Iaccio's mind. He wondered if Iaccio himself would not come out and go to the track to put an end to this charade
Iaccio gave the boy a backhand in the face, "Do you have any idea who that man is? If you can beat him, I will bow before you."
The man next to Iaccio Morri was Naco Ercoli, the owner of Bar Dinastia, and also a famous gangster from the eastern part of the city. However, after getting to know Iaccio and his modus operandi, he had wisely decided to rely on him, because the road to crime leads to only one destination, and that is death.
"That was my superior." Iaccio said in a low voice, "Take that offending man outside, kill him and feed him to the dogs."
Naco at that moment would have really beaten up Macaro. Thinking about it, Iaccio's superior was frightening, and now this matter had to be settled.
"Do you really want to feed him to the dogs?" Naco asked, wiping off a cold sweat. Iaccio was very unpredictable; it was hard to understand what was going through his mind.
Iaccio slapped him again and said, "Of course not, it's illegal to kill someone. Take him out for a beating, and tell him not to come here again in the future."
"All right, all right, I'll go now." Naco followed orders and walked out of the control room.
