Chapter 4

I went out first and went to the terrace and approached Mino who was standing there. I left Reese inside first. Mary has also arrived so she can't be left alone with those two crazy people.

Besides, they are also getting ready for us to go to the municipality. The wedding will be private, only the six of us will be there.

I stood next to Mino and looked at the beautiful view here on the ridge.

We were both silent when he spoke.

It sighed. It also faced and leaned against the railings.

"She's beautiful.." he said.

I looked at him and followed what he was looking at.

It was Reese. He was looking at Reese from the glass window of the town house. She's wearing a white off shoulder knee length dress. Her long and slightly curly hair was also loose, which matched her outfit.

Mino is right, she's so beautiful.

"Do you like her?" I asked him.

He looked at me and turned his gaze back to Reese. Yes" a smile appeared on his lips. Seriously?" I asked in surprise.

I thought he doesn't like her.

Why? Do you think I won't like her?"

Yeah. I thought you didn't like him. You've been quiet since I introduced Reese to you." I said

He smiled again. "I'm just observing her and I think she's fun to talk to. And I just I can't believe that she already has a child." I was also surprised when I found out he had a child." Who would have thought that he had a child?

It's a total package. If you don't mind, after your deal. Can I court her?"

What he said surprised me more. But immediately disappeared and laughed a little. Stop it, you look like Ashton." I said here. It did not answer.

Seriously?" I asked and looked at him.

He just smiled and patted me on the shoulder before walking away.

Is he serious about what he said?

Daemon's POV

Wow. Can you marry me instead of Daemon?" Ashton said while looking at Reese. "I will give you all my wealth as well as my whole body. Do whatever you want, serve me, it's fine-----"

Crazy. Stop it Reese. You're such a jerk." I frowned at this.

You're really beautiful." Theo said with a mixture of admiration.

Reese smiled. "Thank you."

Mino, what can you say? She's beautiful right?" Theo asked Mino who was just looking at the book he was reading.

He raised his face and looked at Reese.

I focused my attention on him and waited for his answer.

She's more than beautiful, she's a goddess..... wearing sneakers." Mino

We all looked at Reese's white shoes.

Because I don't like wearing heels or sandals. Shoes are comfortable." He said and smiled awkwardly.

It's okay. Whatever you wear suits you. I especially suit you." Ashton. That there is no end to the nonsense.

"The mayor is already at the municipality and is waiting for us. Let's go." Theo. We left the town house. Theo and Ashton went first. Reese and Mary are together. Mino and I were caught walking together. She's really different." Mino said as I looked at him.

I know he's just joking but I can't help but think. I just shook my head.

I wonder if he likes Reese. I don't care about that anymore, what we have is only a deal and that's it.

We are now at the municipality. We are still outside the mayor's office because he is still attending to something.

I'm relaxed." My answer.

But the truth is that I'm so tense that I don't understand.

"I guess you can't be bothered with that. If you want to back-out, do it. I'm here to take over as the bride's groom." Ashton I looked at it.

Even if it's just a deal, I really can't help but feel this way.

I think he is the mayor.

He didn't think twice and pulled the mayor or should I say his uncle away from us so that the two of them could talk. Mary, did you know he has a mayor uncle?" I ask here.

No.. I'm surprised too. Reese doesn't talk about his family. And I don't ask because he doesn't want to talk about it." He answered.

I just nodded. Okay. So let's start." He said this after he and Reese talked.

We all entered his office and started the marriage between Reese and me.

It didn't even ask anything. And I don't even know what Reese told him.

Maybe he didn't tell his uncle that this marriage was included in our deal. And I'm sure he won't agree.

I don't want to think anymore. Whatever Reese told him I probably don't care about that anymore.

Congrats bro, be a kind and obedient wife." Ashton We just left the mayor's office because the wedding was over.

Congratulations.. that's a family man now. You're not allowed to wander around at night without your Husband's permission." Theo teased more. Tsk! Stop me." Bro, where is the honeymoon?" Ashton whispered to me. The fool was still grinning.

"Yes, is the honeymoon included in your deal with Reese?" Theo added.

"What you are thinking is pure nonsense.. there is no honeymoon." I answered them angrily.

Why not?" Ashton

Stop it. His deal with Reese is just to pretend to be Daemon's wife, don't mix anything else." Mino scolded

The three of us looked at him with a serious face looking at us.

What is his problem?

I'll be in the car first." He said and left. Is that a problem?" Ashton asked.

Yeah. I noticed that he's in a different mood since earlier." Theo's attention

Again, congratulations to both of you." I looked at Reese and mayor Hanz who had just left his office.

He made Reese leave first because they said they had something to talk about.

Daemon, please take care of her. Don't you dare hurt her or else----" Uncle..." Reese

"I'll call you.. when I'm not busy." Reese answered him Yeah, right. Can I still count on your call?" He grabbed Reese's head and ruffled her hair.

I think we need to go. See you when I see uncle Hanz." Reese

Yeah. Take care." Mayor Hanz

Thank you again Mayor." I said and shook his hand. Take care of her, okay." He said before letting go of my hand.

I smiled. "I will Po."

We left the municipality and went to the parking area where our cars were parked.

We got in and drove to a restaurant to eat. After eating, we returned to the town house. Ashton and Theo said that we should celebrate. They were both insistent so we gave in.

Here.." I handed him a bottle of beer.

No thanks.." he refused.

You don't drink?" I asked and sat next to him It shook its head "I drink, but that was then. Not now." Why? Ahh.. can I know why?" To make the story short. I got drunk and I got Skye. Since then I promised myself that I would never drink alcohol, beer or any other type of intoxicating drink. I do so many stupid things when I'm drunk." He explained.

"Okay. I understand, I won't force you. But do you want some juice or milk, instead?" I offer "Umm.. maybe some ice cream?"

I smiled. That's why there's no ice cream here.... But we can buy? What do you think?" Sure" we stood up from our seats together and left the town house.

We didn't get to say goodbye to them because they looked like they were enjoying themselves there while drinking. While driving, I caught a glimpse of Reese who was quiet.

There's something in me that wants to know what's bothering her right now. Think about it, your uncle is the mayor who married us. It's surprising." I broke the silence that prevailed between the two of us. Yeah. Me too." He sat up from leaning against the car window.

It's been 5 years since the last time I saw him." He added. Really? It looks like you two are close. Based on what I saw earlier." I looked at it for a while.

Yup. We haven't talked since dad kicked me out of the house, because I got pregnant." I just nodded. It was quiet again. I wanted to ask about his family but I remembered what Mary said that she didn't want to talk about it.

But you know.. a parent can't resist his child. No matter what he has done wrong." It suddenly came out of my mouth I glanced at him without speaking.

I heard it sigh. Maybe. I tried so many times.. to apologize for what I did. But he told me to abort the baby, then he will forgive me. But how can I do that? Even though I didn't want Bata at first, I don't want it either commit a sin against God. That's why I left willingly just to continue my pregnancy. And I'm not sorry... I have my Skye now. My life. That's enough for me. Maybe I'll be completely forgiven by dad." She said.

The sadness he feels is obvious on his face. And I want to do something to make her happy. What flavor do you like?" I asked we are now in a shop and choosing a flavor of ice cream.

Umm.." I looked at his face while he was choosing a flavor. He still had his hand under his chin as if he was thinking about it.

It's cute. Can I have three flavors?" I looked away when he suddenly looked at me. Ahh... Sure. As many as you want." Yeyyy.. I want strawberry, chocolate... Umm.. what is this green?" She asked the seller

Avocado, ma'am." I want that too and umm.. vanilla, and this red?" Red velvet Po ma'am. That too and that's all." He said with a smile. Would you like some toppings ma'am?"

It immediately nodded like a child. We have marshmallows, nuts, sprinkles, chocolate syrups and fruits."

Can I have three toppings?""Sure ma'am." Marshmallows, nuts and fruits."

I smiled while looking at him.

How about you Daemon?" He asked me. Chocolate flavor in cone."

That's all?" Reese

Yup. I don't like ice cream that much and I don't like sweet that much." I said Wow. Your life must be sad." He said sarcastically.

I laughed a little. "Why?"

Well, sweets make people happy. Right sister? Sweets make you happy too?" This is a question to the seller.

He just nodded and smiled.

WHILE waiting for our order, we sat down at a table outside their terrace. The view from our place is beautiful. The beautiful and green mountains are visible. Do you want me to take a picture of you?" I will ask. Showing her my phone. He looked at me strangely Because the view is beautiful." I added

Really? You just want to have my picture on your phone."

I dropped the cell phone on the table.

Just use your phone.. because my cellphone's camera isn't that good." He said with a wide smile on his lips.

okay I started taking pictures of him Let me see.." I handed him the cellphone I was holding He immediately took it and looked at it.

Yay.. there's a nice picture right there on your phone Let me get yours..." He said. Lean back in the chair then look at the view." it ordered. There you go... Oh wait, let's have a selfie. Come closer.." I barely approached her and she took our selfie together. It just stopped taking any pictures when our order arrived. Can you use all of that?" I asked while looking at the large cup full of different flavors of ice cream. Yes." He answered and started eating it. That's why I Sister mine before it melted.
