Chapter 3

I counted to ten. No costumers have yet arrived today.

I turned off the light outside and in the visitors area of the clinic. I peeked into the hospital wing and then approached a siberian husky puppy lying on the bed and sleeping. Probably affected by the drug. This is why I had to stay by the clinic the previous nights to keep an eye on it. Suddenly, a severe cold and fever struck, perhaps as a result of climate change.

"Gee! It's already 12 am." I have closed the clinic. But my gaze accidentally landed on the bittersweet bliss cafe on the opposite side.

"Ugh! Man. Don't seduce me."

There are only a few costumers today. Maybe those who work in call centers will be out soon to take a break. I badly want to sip a strong coffee and eat nachos!

I looked at my patient again. So much for being a food lover! I no longer bothered to get dressed. I'm just going straight.

Im wearing my sleeping attire already. A winnie the pooh pajama and terno shirt.. I quickly walked towards Bittersweet bliss, I was warmly greeted by the midnight waitresses of the cafe.

"You already know my order Stacy." she just nodded at me.

I sat down in my favorite seat and adjusted myself.

Ugh the sleeping clothes are the best thing to wear. So much comfort.

I saw how a few costumers stared at me but I didn't pay much attention

In life, if you think too much about what others think, you will only think about them. Ah that's redundant. Bad trip.

Stacey placed my order and smiled kindly at me. She gave me a signed language of saying "enjoy!".

This what I love with the cafe. No racism and equality exist.

I sipped hot coffee and smiled because it was so delicious. I could still feel the heat flowing in my stomach.

I was suddenly startled to see a man sitting in the chair in front of me who didn't seem to know what to do. His blue eyes are unnerving. It's as if the person to look at them is sucked in there. I can see the movement of his lips but why can't I seem to hear him.

"Hey .. are you listening?" He looked obviously worried

"Sorry. Come again? And what are you doing invading someone's privacy?"

He only gave me a slight smile. And looked at the cafe door. A woman in a red halter dress came in.

"Go with the flow please?" He smiled at me. I frowned at him.

What Flow is he saying ...

I was surprised when he held my hands on the table.

"Baby please ... we need to get married."

What?

"What ..."

"My unborn Child can't live without a father. Let's get married"

What does this weird guy saying?

"Thanos? ..." I looked at the woman in the red dress looking shocked as I am.

"Thanos ... what..who's ... this freak who wears pajamas and ... paired shirt of winnie the pooh?"

I kind of insulted but I was more insulted when the guy scoff trying to stop his laughter.

I kicked his leg below the table

"Thanos who is she!!?" she shrieked
