The Untamed Doctor

"An order of rocky road, frappe and waffle with strawberry syrup."

I took out three hundred pesos but returned it again.

"Uhm. Another order of choco dip churros."

My credit card was handed to the cashier who smiled as he punched in my orders.

"Stress eating?."

I smiled at him. he's familiar to me and so is he to me. Of course, I’m one of the legit solid costumers of this bittersweet bliss cafe.

"As always."

He just laughed and handed me a number stand.

"Please just wait 5 minutes for the order ma'am, thank you!"

I walked to a particular spot.. A small table and sofa near the wall made of glass. Its my favorite spot because I can see the Buildings and the road. The clinic where I work is also right next to my place.

"Doctor Azualto Vets".

I am a mere intern and during my stressful days I hang out here to devour and satisfy my sweet cravings.

"Your order maam Tamarah! Enjoy!"

A familiar waitress served my order.

"Thanks Leni"

"I drank the choco dip and syrup again ma'am." She winked at me and I laughed a little. So my favorite here.

"Yum!"

I raised my leg and sat on the sofa. whatever other costumers think Or people who see me. This is how I feel comfortable so be it. Nothing happens when you think about the thoughts of others.

I removed the waffle from its wrapper and eat it with my hand, when I get the small jar of strawberry syrup and placed it on the bitten part. I look like I'm going to be unkempt and starving to death, but my white coat and name tag saved me. And at least I just look like a dead hungry doctor. I sipped on the choco drink that I ordered while watching those outside the coffee shop. Its a weekday meaning a busy day.

Many passers -by outside, office girls, business men in suits entering the towering buildings in front and next to the shop. Maddie, the owner of this bittersweet bliss cafe, is also very smart. The place is in the midst of the city proper so many rich kids and people worship and enjoy it so the sales are really good.

While chewing the waffle I even took churos filled with chocolate making me look like a messy eater. A waffle on my right-hand and churos on the left.

"Look at her. She looks like a super hungry beggar! Oh my god. She's not even ashamed she's wearing a doctor's coat but acts like a beggar?"

I resumed eating. Student groups at a famous university nearby looked at me. I didn't even notice them enter the cafe. Their table is in front of me.

"She doesn't have a class."

I heard again.

"Sassy, she do have. Its LOW CLASS."

The students giggled. Probably in their 16 or 17 years of age.

I ate the last piece of churos whole and bit the last part of the waffle.

The end is really the most delicious as usual.

"Did she eat that whole? Like duh !?"

I don't know if they're kidding but I'm just a little impatient.

I sip gracefully unthinking of what will happen next.

"Look at that woman"

I heard one girl hiss. I looked at the woman they pointed to entering the shop.

"Ulna!"

I even raised my hand so she could notice me.

Finally, I've been waiting for her for a while.
