The Next day, Abe is seen in His Mansion, getting ready for work. His guards were on standby as he walked out of his room.

His maids had served him a special breakfast and despite an exhausting yesterday, he hoped that he would find a way to see his Mate again.

As he was eating, Jack and Ebal came into the dining table too, it was evident that they were living with him.

"Where your Mate?" Abe asked not looking at Jack.

"I'm here..." A short haired cute blue eyes woman showed up, she was wearing a nice office dress as she sat beside jack, kissing him on his forehead.

"Good morning, Supreme Alpha Abe" she chuckled as she sat down.

Her name was Mara.

"I have asked you to quit calling me a supreme Alpha." He said not laughing.

She smiled. "That's exactly how I feel when you call me a 'Mate' rather than Jack's wife or any other endearing words brother..."

It is reveled here that, Mara was Abe's half sister.

Apparently when Abe's Mother had died. After some years, Abe's father Alpha Hendrick had gotten engaged to another woman.

He called it an illusion strategy, because he wanted people to still think he was with a Luna and therefore Lichen pack was strong.

The woman had birthed Mara and after many years, She died and that was exactly when The green moss pack attacked.

Mara and Abe's relationship was constantly filled with nagging and petty quarrels, but they cared for each other and just wouldn't say it.

They just preferred to hide it behind their bickering.

"Let's just eat..." Jack said trying to ease the tension.

Abe stared at the two lovers and wished that his Mate was beside him now.

The phone rang and Ebal stood to pick it up after a while he went over to Abe and whispered something in his ears.

Abe clenched his fist in Anger.

Rising up from his chair he asked his butler Ramsey to hand him his briefcase. Ebal offered to carry it for him.

"Mara go on ahead before us or should I say before Jack, we have some important buisness to handle."

Mara smiled. She kissed Jack goodbye ,Then she gave Abe a peck on his cheek before the guards led her to her car.

"What's wrong?" Jack asked.

"Another espion" Ebal replied.

Jack slapped his face.

"Do you supposed they are from the Green moss pack?"

Abe was silent. As they walked to the secret underground chambers behind the mansion.

A big burly man was tied to the pole in the middle of the building. Abe looked at him in disgust.

"Is he still breathing?"

"Yes sir, we just beat him up" The head guard for the east side of the mansion replied.

"Is he like us ?" jack asked.

"No, they sent a human...but he is a professional, he managed to disguise himself as a Gardner. "

Abe gave a very short and clear laugh.

"And his body build, did not give him away?"

He asked Ebal to open the briefcase, which Ebal did and Abe brought out a gun. It looked more like a Glock. It was infact a Glock.

He aimed it at the head guards legs and shot at him.

A yell came out of his mouth as he fell to the ground.

"I am very sorry Alpha Abe, please show some mercy"

Abe smiled. "Why are you behaving like a child, you will heal any ways it's just a scratch and besides you are a werewolf. Ain't you?"

The guard suddenly realized himself.

As Abe continued.

"You sentinels are supposed to be mentally strong , it's not always about your physical strength...you are to suspect everyone you come in contact with, people want me dead, keep that in mind. Remember because of your carelessness...My Father had died like that too. "

Abe placed the gun back in the briefcase, before turning to face the man who was still tied to the pole.

"Who sent you ..."

The man who had seen and heard enough for one day spoke. .

"The CEO of Caldwell industries sent me to spy on you and to get some vital information on anything relating to you."

As he spoke blood spilled from his mouth. They must have really scratched him to brutality.

The CEO of The Caldwell industries was Wyatt Caldwell, son of late Alpha Sullivan Caldwell of the green moss pack.

Abe gave a long sigh.

"He sent a human because he thought we wouldn't be able to catch him, typical Wyatt."

"Alpha Abe do you want us to eat him alive?" One of the guards threatened in his answer making the man break down in tears.

Abe shook his head.

"His a human, so his natural, let him die naturally."

As Abe walked out. Ebal picked another gun from his suit and fired three shots on the man's forehead.

Abe stopped on his tracks and without turning back. He spoke.

"Wrap him up and send him as a present to my friend Wyatt"

As he stayed in his office chair reviewing some scripts for a comedy show his company was hosting, he received a call from his aunt Ash.

"Its been awhile aunt Ash .."

She laughs.

"I don't like disturbing you"

As they were speaking, Jack walked in with Agent Daniels.

"So I saw the news, you hijacked an innocent Reporter and took her to your car"

Abe gave a short laugh. "This really is a small world"

Ash continued. "Your a billionaire, News concerning you could take about, three days to reach the entire world...don't be silly"

"I should often be reminded of that..." Abe joked but stopped when his aunt asked him.

"She is your mate right?, I know the look you gave her, Your whole body showed me"

Abe knew that there was no use lying.

"Yes she is, I have found her Aunt Ash"

She squealed in excitement. "I knew it the Moon Goddess was faithful"

Abe left out the part that his supposed Mate was Married.

"Aunt I would love to talk more, but I have an important buisness to attend to now"

After saying their greetings. The call ended.

He now faced the two Gentle men infront of him.

Jack was the first to talk through the mind link.

"You didn't tell her that your Mate is married"

Abe glared at him.

"Agent Daniels, I have to commend you. I mean you are fast and reliable as usual. "

Agent Daniels a tan skinned well built man who dressed like the 90s Detective laughed as he dropped the file on the table.

"Thank you Mr Abe, her addresses are inside there too".

He began to give all the details.

"Laura Tansy Mickelson, Daughter of late Gerald Mickelson an old school teacher there is really not much news concerning him. her mother had abandoned her when she was little because they were not really doing well financially, She grew up to be withdrawn and a bit distant, having to fend on her own after her father's death when she was just 18, she did a lot of night and weekend jobs while jogging it with college.

There she met her Boyfriend now her husband, Carlos Stevenson a Canadian architect. who resides here in California he is constantly going for therapy sessions but is not said to have no mental disorders.

Laura got married to him exactly two years ago, got her first job as a reporter three months after their marriage, reports from the neighbors say that she and her husband are frequently having disagreements."

On hearing that, Abe tightened the grip on the files he was holding and stared dead eye at Agent Daniels...

"Did you say Disagreements?, Does he hit her!"

The anger was imminent now.

As Agent Daniels cleared his throat.

"He was sent to jail for one night, for hitting her once, but the neighbors allegedly claimed that he still does it, My assessment of Carlos Stevenson is, a scared Man who is insecure of losing everything he has earned and doesn't love himself, therefore ceases to love another. He might be quite a charmer, but has lost the gentleman in him due to his issues and to be honest it has gotten worse as he also gets in rifts with his co workers.

Agent Daniels continued.

"Assessment of Mrs Laura Stevenson, may be suffering from Daddy issues, as people give a rumour that Her Dad was quite of an Asshole while raising her, and it affected her relationship with others especially men, Carlos was more of a father figure in college cause he took care of her and she mistook it for love or so, he gave her what she wished she had, but as he changed she grew this fear for him and just like she lost the courage to leave her father despite his verbally abusive characters, She doesn't have the courage to stand up to Carlos, which is in contrast to her behavior in the Mass communication world as she was one of the leading reporters during the Garrett's Expansion scandal, She is brave and tough when it comes to her job and although indifferent sometimes, she loves what she does."

Abe was impressed. Handing him an envelope filled with money he thanked him and after few pleasantries Agent Daniels left.

Jack spoke .

"That was one damn biography, so what are you going to do now?"

Abe was silent for awhile.

"Jackson, go to your mate...I am going to visit mine."
