Rain Part 02

The sweet romance between Adarsh bhai and Parineeta bhai baffles her mind. The simple,open behaviour of Adarsh bhai impressed her. At night Adarsh bhai used to teach her maths. He teaches her english also. He explains in a very clear manner. While listening,Naina sleeps resting her head on the books. Adarsh bhai twists her ears and slaps her. Naina angrily throws the book. Adarsh bhai makes big red eyes and scolds her always.

“You are already feeling sleepy even before it is 9. Studies is not your cup of tea. You should leave studies and go back to your village,” Adarsh bhai always insults her.

Naina being frustrated gets up crying. She runs and hugs Parineeta bhabi. Parineeta bhabi consoles her. She makes her understand that Adarsh bhai is doing this for her betterment only.

Once Naina while sleeping on the bed with Parineeta bhabi.

“My classes are over bhabi,I am thinking of going back home,” Naina said to Parineeta bhabi.

When Parineeta bhabi told this to Adarsh bhai, he was very angry.

“Naina is a very stubborn girl. I am thinking about her well and she doesn't respect me. After all, I am not her own brother,” Adarsh bhaiya said in front of everyone.

Naina came running and placed her palm over Adarsh bhai’s mouth.

“I am sorry bhai. I will never be angry at your words. I promise I will live here. You will teach me and I will secure the 1st position,” Naina said holding her ears and doing sit-ups.

Adarsh bhai pulled the black long pony of Naina’s hair.

“Will you ever utter anything about going back home?” He asked her.

“Aahh! It's painful. Leave it,” Naina screamed loudly. Parineeta bhabi came running from inside and took her away.

Adarsh bhai comes home late. So Naina sleeps with Parineeta bhabi. When Adarsh bhai comes back,he lifts her back to her room. Sometimes Adarsh bhai comes home very late,Naina by that time has slept. After coming, Adarsh bhai directly sleeps on the bed. He pulls Parineeta bhabi closer. Naina wakes up due to the sound of Parineeta bhabhi’s bangles.

“What are you doing? Let me wake up Naina and send her to her room,” Parineeta bhabi being on Adarsh bhai’s chest said.

“Let her sleep, after all, she is a child,” Adarsh bhai said.

“She is no longer a child. What if she wakes up and sees us like this?” Parineeta bhabi asked him.

“So what? She will not think anything,” Adarsh bhai said.

Adarsh bhai then gives a peck of Parineeta bhabi’s cheek. Seeing this, Naina's heart started to beat fastly. A sudden chill runs through her body. She feels like running away from that room. Only because the fear of facing Adarsh bhai,makes her lie there like that. Adarsh bhai then gets up and switches off the lights.

“Naina? Let me wake her?” Parineeta bhabi said.

“She is sleeping,let her sleep,” Adarsh bhai said.

“What if she wakes up in the middle of the night?” Parineeta bhabi said.

“So what? She is a child,what will she understand? Nothing,” Adarsh bhai said.

Lying there Naina listens to Adarsh bhai and Parineeta bhabi’s talk and the sound of Parineeta bhabi’s bangles.

What so much laughter in the midnight? Naina cannot understand anything. Her body under her dress starts sweating and the body feels like a cramp. When Adarsh bhai and Parineeta bhabi had slept, she was unaware. She wakes up every day to the sound of the alarm. She then sees Parineeta bhai sleeping in the arms of Adarsh bhai. Parineeta bhabi looks more beautiful.

‘Issh, Parineeta bhabhi is so big and she doesn't feel shy to sleep in Adarsh​ Bhai's embrace,” Naina always thinks this in her mind.

Naina wakes up silently, opens the door, and comes out. She recalls the incident of the previous night. She only understands that Adarsh bhai and Parineeta bhabi share a very strong bond. Both love each other blindly and both are husband and wife.

Naina thinks that if she had a husband who would hug her the whole night, love her-she would not fear the darkness anymore. Naina fears darkness very much. At home, she used to hug her mother and sleep, but here she hugs the pillow. If she had a husband, she would hug him,and sleep peacefully.

She laughs at her own thoughts. Her cheeks become red. But then she suddenly remembers that her father had told her that she has to study hard. Then she realizes that she is a child and she doesn't have to marry. Shaking her head she says-No! I should not think about this. Baba had said I have to read hard to secure the first position in the class. I am a good girl. Adarsh bhai too says this.
