Chapter 9 : Fairy Tale

CYNTHIA'S POV:

I smiled while looking at my friend , who's busy talking to Cyprus . I can't believe what happened , in just a snapped she already have someone she likes . I looked at them and saw them laughing each other . its been a while since I saw her laugh. I take a sigh and start thinking , where should I find my other half ?. I may not look like this but I'm still hoping for a fairy tale story. I snapped when I heard his voice. I looked at him and smiled at me , he sit beside me and look at Cyprus and Sakura who's sitting in the corner while laughing. I take a sigh again and told myself " I envy them " .

" hey ! you okay ? what happened ? " I take a sigh and shake my head and say " nothing " but he lean closer and asked again "really ? "

I smiled at him and nod . We're looking at each other . I feel uneasy so I averted my eyes and look at Sakura who's giving me a smirk . I know what she's thinking but there's nothing between us . Sky and I are not in a relationship . I smirked at her and mouthed her " shut up and go with your hubby " and laughed hard . I saw her pout and smirked and point at Sky , who's busy with his phone . I stick my tongue to her and laughed so hard . She started walking towards me while laughing . I look at Cyprus who's walking at her back . What the hell Cyprus ! Is he is a dog ? . Jeez ~ Cyprus became a slave of love.

She lean closer and give me a smirk and whisper " aha ! dating in a broad daylight ha ! " . I feel that my face turned red from my ear . I take a glimpse at him and saw him talking to Cyprus . I heard her whisper again and say " did I interrupt your date ? " . I looked at her and pinch her nose and say " we're not ! " but she just laughed at me so I give her a smirked and called Cyprus . Both of them looking at me so I smiled and called Cyprus and say " take your wife , she's kind of annoying ! " I laughed so hard but she pinch my cheeks . She called Sky and say " am I interrupting you're date ha ! " . Sky's face became red . She looked at Sakura and say " Jeez , we're not yet in a relationship " . Wait did I heard him say " yet " ? .

I heard Cyprus voice laughing so hard as he slowly punch at Sky's chest . I give them a smirk and say " It's been a two weeks and you guys are not in a relationship ? aha ! " I saw them turning red but I want to take a revenge from them so I laughed and told Cyprus " Sakura is kind of annoying and also a sadist so good luck with her " and burst of laughter . I feel Sakura giving me a glare but I smirked at her and told her " Cyprus is kind of a prince . I wonder if you can survive on this school " she pinch my cheeks until it turned red. Jeez ~ this girl is a sadist . I heard Sky's voice laughing at them so I glared at her . She is still pinching my cheeks and it's kind of hurt ! " it's hurt ! " I exclaimed but she just laughed at me .

I pushed her towards at Cyprus and wave my hands to them and say " goodbye and continue with your date " I saw them turning red . Sakura wants to say something but Cyprus covered her mouth and pulled her away. I laughed so hard just looking at these adorable couple. I'm happy for what happened to her , at least there is someone over here who's wiling to date her and it's one of the prince. I chuckle and smiled . I take a sigh and look at them with an envy eye . I feel lonely all of a sudden , she is always right here beside me but right now she's not . Our happy memories since we are a kids . I know the time will come , where we will separate our way but I'm not yet ready . She's my first friend , she's my savior , she's my best friend . I snapped when I heard his voice asking if I'm okay . I just nod at him .

I'm just wondering , why is Sky was taking an interest at me ?. Ever since the group project started he always approached me every time . He seems familiar to me but I don't know where I meet him. I looked at him from head to toe and I can't deny that this guy was handsome . Pointed nose with blond hair and narrow eyes . I think he is half like me , half Korean ? maybe !. You will struck just looking at him. I saw him chuckle and smiled .

" I know , I'm handsome so stop starring " I feel hot all of a sudden .I heard my heart beating so fast. Jeez ~ what I really hate this guy is , his attitude !. There's a time that his teasing at me non stop. I averted my eyes and look around the campus.

Some of the teacher announce a no class so some of the students was here lurking around the campus. We are forbid to go outside if it is class hours even though the teacher announce a no class. I heard him giggle so I looked at him but he just smiled at me while looking at my eyes. Jeez ~ can you stop that ? , you're making me nervous and uneasy .

I looked at him and our eyes meet. My heart was beating so fast . I can't avert my eyes , it looks like I was hypnotized by him. I heard him chuckle and say " should I assume that you're looking at me ? . Am I attractive enough to make Cynthia Marcus turning red? " What ? !. I hate him ! . I pout and told him " Don' t assume that I looked at you " but he just laughed at me and say " I'm not assuming , I can feel your gaze towards me. " . Jeez ~ it's your win . I could not answer him cause it's really true. I averted my eyes and looked around and saw Kathy and Joshua who's laughing each other . Wait ! it seems that something was happened to them and I smell a chemistry between them.

I heard his husky voice , whispering at me " really ? so you didn't deny " . F*ck ! don't whisper at me ear. I fee a sudden hotness and looked at him. I will try to challenge this guy, so I lean closer and give him a smirk . I saw him trying to avoid but I giggle and lean towards his face . He turned red and smiled . He give's me a smirk and he lean his face closer . Jeez ~ His giving me a counter attack , so I avoid my face and avert my eyes but he cupped my face and force turn on his way. Argh ! I see my reflection at his eyes and I know how red I am. I heard him chuckle and say " do you want me to kiss you ? ".

What ?! What the heck is wrong with this guy ?!

" he- hey st - stop that " I feel my voice cracked for a moment and just now did I stutter ? . I closed my eyes but nothing happened so I blink and saw him laughing so hard.

" seriously ? if you can look at yourself ! your so cute when you turned red "

I feel my heartbeat , beating so fast . I touched my face and I feel hotness on it . I grabbed the mirror at my side and look at myself.

Jeez ~ My face was turning red up to the ears. I glared at him and told him " shut up " an avert my eyes to the corner.

I heard Sakura's voice and she feel like annoyed . I look at them and saw Cyprus carried Sakura like a bride . F*ck , are they nuts ?. Does this guys know that this is a school? . I heard her cursing at Cyprus but he didn't budge at all , instead he say " No ! I want to try this ". I looked around and everyone's eye was watching at them , some of the girl's was looking with a disbelief while some of them started screaming. I heard Cyprus asked her to call him hubby but Sakura was cursing at him and say " sh*t ! put me down , f*ck! ". I laughed so hard just looking at these two. I take a glimpse at them and I saw her glaring at me and mouthed " help " but I smirked at her and laughed so hard. Cyprus was insisting to call him hubby but Sakura was refusing to do so . I know she can get out of it but she don't want to create a scene so I guess she just let Cyprus do whatever he want. Everyone was watching at them . I saw some of them looking at Sakura with jealousy .

Cyprus was still insisting but she still refusing but later on I heard her say " put me down h- h - h- hu - hub - hubby " she lowered her voice when she say hubby. She's really giving up !. I saw Cyprus putting her down and smiled " sure " . F*ck ! this guy's really want to make a scene !.

I feel shiver from my spine and my heartbeat beating so fast , when he whisper at me " why are you smiling ?" in a husky voice. I looked at him and say " I'm happy seeing them having a good relationship . Ever since she was a kid she's hardly smiled and laughed"

Ever since she was a kid , she's really quiet and cold. I remember during our elementary days , when I saw her first . She's have a cold attitude towards the students and like what I said , she have no friends even though she was excel in academic but it change when we became a friends she always happy and she smiled and she always keep her composure. She didn't give a cold attitude towards the students. I really know about her eyes and her secret . When we are in high school , she's starting to act different like wearing an eyeglass , wearing a long skirt. She's always talk to me with a smiling face but she turned cold again when her pet Tiger died.

" are you jealous with them ? " I snapped when I heard him

" what ? I'm not jealous with them "

" Is it because you don't have a boyfriend ? "

F*ck ! I really hate this guy ! . I give him a death glare but she just laughed at me and say in a lower voice " you're lucky that I - - - - " I didn't hear his last words so I asked her " what ? " but she just smiled at me and pinch my nose. Jeez ~ this guy ! I don't understand him sometimes. I looked at him while his pinching my nose and say " I hate you Idiot " but he just laughed at me.

SKY'S POV :

Every cell in my body was telling me that she was my happily ever after . A fairy tale love story that's what I want. I looked at her and saw her blushing so I pinch her cheeks and told her " you're such a dense " and laughed. She's pouting her lips and mumble " jeez ~ I hate this guy ! " . He always tell me how much he hates me but I know deep down that it's just a lie. I looked at her pendant and smiled , she looked at me with confuse so I pinch her nose again. I'm happy seeing her wearing the pendant that I give . I hope she remember me .

It's all happen when I was in grade two in Echizen Academy an Elite School . I was always being bullied for being a nerd . I didn't dare to fight back cause I was afraid of them. I was alone and hopeless . I have no friends that I can talk with. I always cry alone in the corner , nobody's approach me and nobody tried to defend me nor talk to me. I take a sigh and started crying when suddenly I heard noise and looked at the corner and saw a little girl holding a bottle of water. She looked at me for a seconds and started walking towards me. She give me a water and asked if I'm okay , I nod at her and say yes. She give me a handkerchief to wipe my tears. I sob for a while and hand her the handkerchief . She hold my hands and say " true men will shed tears " and smiled at me. She asked me what happened so I told her my story , she just listening at me and nod. " Me too , I was being bullied as well " I looked at her but she just smiled at me.

She stood up and held her hands and asked " what's your name ? can I be your friends ? " I smiled at her and stood up and say " Yes". She started introducing herself " My name is Cynthia Marcus , how about you ? " I smiled and shake her hands. Month passed by and we're still friends. Until grade three and she's always beside me . She even give me a gift during my birthday I looked at it and it was a pendant. She smiled at me and say " looked I also have it , we're the same " I chuckle and we laughed. Until I was in grade four when my father told me that he will transfer me to other school because of the business and I have no choice cause it was already decided. And that school was too far away from here , the St. Fanazi Academy . I haven't bid a farewell to her . I cried so hard because of the sudden news.

Years passed by and I couldn't forget here. I am already a high school student but I haven't receive any news from her. I tried to track her down but I couldn't , not until the entrance ceremony when they post the top students in bulleting board. My world stop when I saw her name . I asked myself if Is this really here. I pinch my cheeks and checked the list again and saw her name. I'm not dreaming . This is true ! . It was her name . I checked again and saw " Cynthia Marcus " written in the top students. She's really enrolled on this school !. I tried to track her and proved if it was her but I couldn't find her. I take a sigh and saw someone approaching me and it was Cyprus. He is the son of my father's business partner. I wave at him and heard girl's screaming at him. I was still a nobody on this school . I hate to attract so I keep myself as a nerd. He stand beside me and looked at the bulletin board. I looked around started walking . I heard Cyprus shouting at me and say " hey ! " but I didn't mind him . I don't want to attract attention so its better to keep a distance at him. I go to my locker room and grabbed my bag. When I turned around I bumped into a girl who's wearing a shirt . It seems that , this girl was a new student cause she's not wearing a school uniform . Maybe a freshman ? I held my hand and asked her if she's okay . She just nod and say " yes " . I saw the back of her ID on the ground so I picked it and looked at it. There I saw her name. I looked at the girl and it was her ID . She get het ID and say thank you. I couldn't utter a single word so I looked at her and saw pendant. I was right . She's still wearing the pendant. She looked at me and bow her head run away.

I looked at her back and hoping we will again. I looked at myself in the mirror and I am the same , maybe he didn't recognize me ?. Should I change my appearance instead? .

I started hanging out with Cyprus until gaining an attention , every girl's started screaming at me. I was known to everyone . Everybody knows me but why the hell she didn't recognize me ?. Years passed by and I became her stalker but still she didn't turned her way at me.

I looked at her and smiled but she just looked at me with a confuse look. She's really dense a thick one !.
