CHAPTER THREE

NEW PACK, NEW FAMILY

In the dead of night, Ducan awoke to the sound of a strange howling in the distance. He rose from his bed and stepped outside, where the moon was full and bright in the sky. The howling grew louder, and Ducan realized that it was coming from the direction of the forest. He felt a strange sense of foreboding, and he knew that something was wrong. He grabbed his sword and ventured into the woods, following the sound of the howling. As he drew closer, he saw a sight that chilled him to the bone but it disappeared suddenly.

Some years ago Ducan was bored so he decided to venture deep into the woods, determined to prove his strength and bravery. But he quickly became lost, and he wandered for hours, unable to find his way back to the pack. As the sun began to set, Ducan heard the howling of a wolf in the distance. He followed the sound, hoping to find someone who could help him, but he soon realized that he was being led deeper and deeper into the forest. As night fell, the howling grew louder and louder, and Ducan was filled with a sense of dread as he was deeply lost in the woods.

Calista spent days and nights searching for Ducan, but no matter how hard she looked, she could not find him. She began to lose hope, and the sadness and loneliness became too much to bear. She started to withdraw from her friends and family, and she spent more and more time alone. One night, as Calista sat by herself in the woods, she heard the howling of a wolf in the distance. It was the same howling she had heard before, but this time it sounded different. It sounded almost... human but it wasn’t him.

Calista's search for Ducan had taken a toll on her, and she was tired of the pain and disappointment. She decided that it was time to move on and try to heal from her loss. But no matter how much she tried to forget, she couldn't help but feel that Ducan was out there somewhere, calling to her. She was determined to live her life, but the feeling of loss and longing lingered in the back of her mind. Even though she had given up searching for him, she couldn't help but wonder if he was really gone for good.

Ducan awoke to find himself in a den, surrounded by strange and unfamiliar creatures. He tried to move, but his body felt heavy and stiff. His mouth was full of sharp teeth, and his ears were pointed and furry. He is tall and broad-shouldered; he possesses a piercing green eyes and dark hair.

He realized with horror that he had become a wolf. He tried to remember what had happened, but everything was a blur. The last thing he remembered was Calista calling his name, but he couldn't remember anything after that. He struggled to adjust to his new body and his new surroundings, but he was surrounded by other wolves that seemed to understand him.

One of the wolves, a large, dark creature with piercing blue eyes, seemed to take a special interest in Ducan. The wolf approached him, and Ducan was struck by the intelligence and wisdom in the creature's eyes. The wolf seemed to be trying to communicate with him, and Ducan could almost understand what it was saying. As Ducan spent more time with the wolf pack, he began to understand more and more of what they were saying. He learned that he had been taken in by the pack because he was different - he was a werewolf, but he was also somehow more than that.

It was a day like any other in the wolf pack, until a howl rang out through the forest. The call was different from the usual howls - it was urgent and distressed. Ducan and the other wolves gathered around the pack leader, who told them that a rival pack was encroaching on their territory. They needed to defend their land and their pack, and Ducan felt a surge of bravery and determination. He followed the others into battle, ready to fight for his pack and for his future. The battle was fierce and brutal, but Ducan's bravery and skill were unmatched. He fought with everything he had, and in the end, Ducan's pack emerged victorious. They had defended their territory and their honor, and Ducan was hailed as a hero. He had proven himself to be a brave and capable warrior, and he was welcomed into the pack with new respect and admiration. Ducan knew that he had found his place in the world, and he was ready to embrace his destiny and fulfill his purpose. He looked to the future with hope and excitement, knowing that he would always fight for what he believed in. But even as he reveled in his victory, he couldn't shake the feeling that something was missing.

Even though he had found a new family and a new purpose, Ducan couldn't forget about Calista. She was always on his mind, and he knew that something about his destiny was still incomplete. He felt a deep longing for the sister he had lost, and he knew that he needed to find her again. But he didn't know where to begin. His pack encouraged him to move on and focus on the future, but he couldn't let go of the past. As he lay awake at night, staring at the stars, he wondered if he would ever see Calista again.

Ducan was on a long, solo hunting trip in the woods, and he was beginning to feel the loneliness and isolation of his journey. As he traveled, he noticed a coyote following him from a distance. At first, he wasn't sure if the coyote was real or just a trick of the light. But as he continued on his journey, he realized that the coyote was always there, keeping pace with him. One night, as he sat around a campfire, he saw the coyote in the shadows, staring at him intently. Suddenly, the coyote transformed into a beautiful woman with long, dark hair.
