Emilia roamed around the beach. He was alone and didn't waste any more energy to take his wife because first, he was busy on the phone and he knew about the work he was doing and second, he also didn't want to be with her. She rather be alone as she enjoy the magnificent views in front of her.

He knew very well that it was against his will to go on that trip but they could do nothing but follow their parents' wishes.

It was three o'clock in the afternoon and the sun wasn't so hot anymore and since he had nothing to do yet, he just thought of lying down on the sun lounger located near the beach. She took off her cover up shirt, revealing her white bikini before lying down the lounger.

The place was nice and peaceful, because there were only a few guests there. As a result, he could no longer avoid falling asleep. And if he hasn't cooled down yet, he won't wake up.

It was already dark when he woke up, he got up easily but when he looked at Maverick who was also lying on the lounger next to him, he just sat down.

As he sat down, the cover-up he had taken off fell from his chest. He immediately grabbed you and covered you from his chest and while doing so he watched if Maverick would look at him which he didn't.

"Are you still there?" She asked him, fixing herself.

"Almost an hour." The answer was, he still didn't look back and just looked straight at the iPad he was holding.

"What time is it?" She asked again, putting on her cover-up.

"Nearly six in the evening," he replied again. He put down his ipad before turning to face him. "We should go back now for our dinner," he added.

He immediately nodded and stood up. "All right." He answered and followed as he walked back.

She was just following Maverick as it headed at the restaurant of the resort. It was a buffet so they went straight to the food queue. She took a plate and lined up in the pasta lane and get some Fettuccine Alfredo and garlic bread before looking for a table. Maverick followed her with his plate full of different kinds of seafood.

"That's all you're going to eat?" He asked when he noticed his plate.

She shrugged. "Obviously." He was stubborn and did not pay attention to his criticism of his food

Suddenly, he landed the shrimp on his plate, peeled it and just ate it. He returned it immediately.

"I'm allergic to seafoods." He said.

Maverick arched his brow and said, "Poor creature." He even shrugged.

"What?" She asked, brows were creased from what he said.

"You're missing a lot just because of that allergies of yours. Kawawa." It repeats itself.

He stared at it even with a small grin on the side of his lips. Seriously, poor creature? What is a child? She said to herself.

"That's just a food, how can I be poor?" Ani naman n'ya.

Maverick shrugged. "Because you're a weak human for having allergies over delicious food." answer it.

He couldn't stop laughing at those who would say it. "What kind of wordings do you have, Engineer De Chavez? What, are you young?" Ani n'ya.

Maverick rolled his eyes. "Just eat," he ordered.

Laughing, he circled it again and continued eating. Sometimes he also watches it delicious to eat and he can't help but be squeamish. He devour on his foods as if that was his first meal on century. Very greedy.

"There will be a fire dance at the shore. Let's watch?" She asked him after their dinner, sounding really excited.

Maverick arched his brow. "Haven't you watched that yet?" He asked her.

She shook her head. "I was too busy to have time for things like that," she answered.

Because honestly, it was her first time to go on a trip that doesn't business related. Yes. Though the reason of her marriage to Maverick was purely business, she didn't consider going in this trip with him as part of it.

She knew well that Maverick isn't please with the idea and will never do things against her will, making her feel at ease and relax.

For the first time as well, there was someone who won't take advantage of her.

"That's impossible." Maverick said.

She rolls her eyes. "Edi don't believe me. You could just say 'no' if you're not interested." She said.

"I didn't say I'm not interested," he answered. "I just can't believe that you, a daughter of a wealthy family, have not experienced things like that." He said.

She shook her head. "There's still a lot of things you don't know about me, Engineer De Chavez." She just said and continued eating.

It was a secret to all who she really is. Everyone thought that she's a legitimate child and her father's wife is her mother. For them, her identity is the biggest scandal the family cannot take in when people learned about it.

"What else do you want to do?" Maverick asked.

She shook her head. "I just want to see the fire dance," she replied.

Maverick shrugged and asked, "Want to go to their open bar after the show?"

"Okay," she answered.

That's what they do after they're done with their dinner. They went to the beach again to watch the fire dance.

The show will last for an hour and just a few minutes from the start of the show, it will be amazing.

“For you kid,” Maverick commented.

He stared at it but did not answer. She's too fascinated to even mind Maverick's mocking.

"Come here," he said then pulled them towards the front of it.

He was surprised so he frowned at it. "What are you doing?" She asked.

"I'm doing you a favor, Emilia. Guys behind us are gawking on you." Answer it. “Stop assuming things,” it added.
