|THIRD PERSON POV|
It's like telling her that everything is fine. They love her, they don't want to lose her.
She remained standing straight. Not acting.
Because when she hugs them, she will be selfish for sure. She'll do anything to make sure that they won't disappear again.
But what if they suddenly disappear? Maybe it's all just a dream and they will disappear again. It will only hurt her so she doesn't want to hope.
"Can you loosen up? I'm still hungry. It's not good to wait for food." She said
while the father loosened from his tight embrace.
"Food is still the most important thing to you." She shrugged at what he said
She sat down again and her father sat next to her.
"It's good that you're home. You've been missing for three years. We looked for you but we couldn't find you. Your brothers are eager to see you..."
The father said a lot more that she didn't even bother to listen to but what he said about them letting out that she was with her uncle Sayron didn't escape his hearing.
Uncle Sayron sending letters to his two brothers while pretending to be her.
He was thankful because they knew it.
She doesn't want them to worry about what happened to her. They will be very sad for sure. Maybe they cry every day.
"I'm sure your grandparents will be happy when they find out you're back." The father said eagerly
"By the way, where did you go—" The father stopped suddenly
Even though her attention was on the food, she could feel her mother shake her head. It is said that he should not ask her that.
"Ahem. It doesn't matter, the important thing is that you're here."
She took the glass with only water and took a sip before standing up and stretching.
"I want to rest," she said
"Sure, sure. I'll take you to your room—"
"No need, I've memorized the way to get there."
She turned her back and silently climbed the stairs to the second floor of their house.
She also disappeared here for three years. Good thing they didn't move house, good thing she found them.
She stopped in the middle of the hallway.
Observed the way to the room of the two brothers.
She closed her eyes.
She's still mastered. she still remembers the memories left behind in that house and place.
When she was not with them, she was afraid to close her eyes every night. Maybe when she wakes up, she won't be able to remember the memories that are important to her.
She's afraid back then that maybe as time and days pass, she will gradually forget the real her.
But thankfully, she didn't forget anything.
Even though she had no news of them for three years, her memory about them became clear.
She still remembers everything about them.
It can be said that nothing has changed in father and mother. To his siblings?
She wants to go in their room but she prefers to stay in her own room.
She's tired. So, tired but the body does not conform to her.
It doesn't seem to get tired unlike her soul.
After opening the room, she saw the unchanged room. Nothing has changed there whatsoever.
It still looks the same as when she left it. The only difference is that it remained clean even without her.
She turned to the wall.
There are papers stuck there.
'Welcome back Zeri!'
'We miss you Zeri!'
'Happy birthday Zeri!'
'I love you Zeri!'
The two brothers must have done it.
"Yes, it was them." She turned to the door to speak to her mother who seemed to have read what was in her mind
She was followed.
"They said they did that for when you come home," "They also always clean your room even though there are maids. They said you don't want other people messing with your stuff."
She approached the bed and lay down on it.
She is not wearing the raincoat anymore. She undressed that earlier.
She looks dirty now but she doesn't want to stand up. Tomorrow, she will rest first.
"Your siblings will be happy for sure if they see you tomorrow." The mother said again
"I see," she replied
Not sure how she should react. If she had forgotten anything in three years, it was emotion.
she couldn't remember the last time she felt alive.
She can't feel anything. No, she forgets how to, even if she wants to.
"Get some rest, Goodnight Zeri."
"Welcome back..."
She closed her eyes when she heard the door close.
"I'm back..." She said
And in the past three years, only now did she sleep soundly again.
.
.
"Zero! Zeri! Hurry up! We're going to be late!" Zera shouted from outside their house
Dawn and Zior peered at the two children in the room where they were.
Zeri was facing the mirror and adjusting the necktie of the uniform she was wearing.
"Does it matter to me?" It asked Zero
"Of course! Everything suits you." The brother replied with a smile and winked at it
"I know right." Zeri woke up
4 years have passed since Zeri returned.
The next day when she returned, the two brothers were very happy after seeing her.
She can't remember how many hours they sat on the sofa while they hugged her.
They also slept next to each other for a few days because they said they missed her.
She didn't do anything because the father and mother joined as well as their grandparents who immediately went to them after learning that she was there.
Include the parents' friends as well.
The only thing she likes about them is that they didn't ask where she went even though they were aware that she had been missing for three years.
