"So, what do you want from me? What do you want us to talk about?" she asked directly
she didn't answer so she frowned.
"Are you kidding me right no—"
"This place hasn't changed a bit."
She was stunned.
She feels like time has stopped.
Several years have passed but she will never forget her voice.
Three years have passed and now she heard her voice again.
"Zeri..." she mentioned his daughter's name
The name that started to disappear is now only mentioned again.
The woman turned around to face her.
"Mom," she removed the hood of the raincoat so she could see her appearance
Something has changed here, but she can't deny that this is indeed her daughter, Zeri.
It looks different. She looks so handsome despite being a girl.
Gone is the playful grin that was always plastered on her lips before.
The sparkle in its fighting eyes is gone.
Her soft but annoying voice has also become cold.
The face that always has different emotions is nowhere to be seen now.
She changed.
Zeri looked lifeless.
"It's been three years since you disappeared. Without a word, without telling your family where you're going." Said her
She stopped herself from standing up and stepping between them.
she wanted to hug her and make her feel how much she missed her but she preferred to look calm and not affected by her sudden return.
"It's good that you think about going home. I thought you forgot that you have a family. Did you have too much fun traveling and forgot the way home?" She continues to be cold said
The child had no reaction.
Its pink eyes have no appetite, no emotion.
"Why are you not answering?" she asked again but she kept staring at her
Not saying a word.
"Where did you go? Why did you come back after three years? What happened to you Zeri? Why did you suddenly leave?" She asked one question after another, but like before, she didn't answer
She slammed her palm on the table violently.
"Answer me! Do you know how we felt when you left?! Didn't it occur to you that we would be hurt when you left?! You became selfish, Zeri. You only thought about your feelings but you didn't think about how you would feel We are the ones you left behind. You leave because you can't accept the fact that your brother Casper died, aren't you? he's more important for you than us, your family?"
Her voice is high.
She couldn't stop herself from letting out the emotions that she had been hiding for three years.
"I'm hungry,"She gasped.
After what she said, that's all she will say?
Is she hungry? Ha!
She stood up from sitting and came here.
"Are you going to slap —"
She couldn't finish what she was going to say as she hugged her tightly.
"You stupid kid."She cried.
Yes, she cried.
She did not hug her daughter back.
"Why are you crying?" She asked
"You really don't know the answer?"
"I'm sorry," she finally said
"I'm sorry if I leave without saying anything, but whether you believe it or not. There's no times where I didn't think about you." She said again
"Then, why didn't you go home? We'll always be happy to welcome you."
"No, I can't. A lot happened while I wasn't in your place. And I can't tell you what those are. But, I tried. I tried to go home, once, twice, thrice until I couldn't count anymore even with my toes."
She loosened from her embrace.
Staring her in the eyes.
She still has no emotions.
It seems like a robot is facing her.
"What happened? Did something happen right? Tell me, Zeri."
"It's useless to know now mom. It's over, it's happened. It's better that you don't try to find out more." This is the answer
She blinked.
From the words she knew something bad happened.
Her fist clenched.
She wants to know what happened to her daughter. But she chose not to ask any more questions.
It looks like it has no intention of telling a story.
"Fine, I won't question you anymore."
"Let's go to the dining area," She held her daughter's hand and let her do that.
"Where are they Zero?" She asked as they walked
while looks around.
"in they're room. They must be asleep, come see them later after you eat and clean up."
"Okay,"
When she reached the dining area, she immediately signaled the maids to get food.
She watched how her daughter ate the food in front of her.
If there's one thing that hasn't changed here, it's her passion for food.
she's still greedy.
She smiled.
After three years, she was finally with her again.
Whatever happened to her. She will wait until she is ready to tell a story.
"Are you not going to eat?"
She shook her head.
"I already ate earlier,"
"That's good. I have no intention of sharing my food with you."
She laughed.
"Yeah. That's all yours, don't worry."
