Chapter 6: He is so rude!

" Will he be alright after now?" The men asked.

" He will come back to normal after taking some rest but what I can't guarantee is that he won't run out of control again" the doctor replied.

" So what should we do, doctor?" They asked.

"You just have to watch him for now and ensure that he doesn't step into that house again, at least for the moment," the doctor replied.

Just then, Ava arrived at the clinic. She just started working there two days ago.

Luckily enough for her, she got taken in by them after applying and was told to start work in earnest which had been for two days now. Her parents didn't know that she was working somewhere like that and had thought she was going to the golden life which they had secured for her and she had successfully passed their interview on that very day they came to submit her credentials. Unknown to them, Ava had hired someone else to work in her stead which was why her absence wasn't noticed.

"I'm glad you are here Intern, Please administer some injection to this man. He had a situation above his mental health and was rushed in here. I just gave him a sedative" the doctor said to Ava as she nodded in response.

This was indeed the best place for her to practice.

She quickly changed into her uniform, came back to the sick bed where Williams was laying, rolled up his sleeve, and checked his pulse and body temperature after which she put a drip on him. And prescribed some medicine for the men to buy.

"Will he be alright?" the men asked her.

" Sure he will, he is well too strong. He was able to hold in the impact not everyone would. Wait till he wakes up you can take him home then" Ava replied as she left to attend to the other patients.

The clinic was filled today as that was the only clinic in the town that the poor masses could afford. She wondered how much pain they had to endure.

It was not till late in the evening did Mr. Williams woke up and turned around, to see Ashley sitting on a chair beside him. He had probably been awake all night and watching over him considering Why he was dozing off.

" What happened? Why am I here?" He asked, thus waking Ashley up.

" Huh? Are you awake? How are you feeling now?" Ashley asked

" What happened?" He asked again and in an impatient tune.

" We were in the house earlier today,

And while we were looking around the place, you suddenly lost control of yourself so we brought you here" Ashley narrated in a jiffy.

" Lost control of myself?".Mr. Williams asked, his mouth wide open.

He immediately started to remember what happened.

While he was looking at the house, especially at the parlor and the spot where his late mum was lying in the pool of his blood, he suddenly started to hear the voice of one of the masked men back then, and what they had told him that day. the more the voices spoke in his head the more he loses control of himself. He didn't believe that he was going to be that out of control of himself just at the recurring of the man's voice.

Ashley played the video of what happened at the house to him and also told him what the doctor had told them about his condition after which they asked for him to be discharged.

" How can I not go back to the house? That house is where my evidence lies. And I just barely started to stop now" .Mr. Williams lamented after they told him what the doctor had said.

" You will run out of control again if you go back there and I bet you wouldn't want to become bedridden you should stop now!!," Ava chided. She was just in time to overhear their conversation.

" I'm not taking that. You should, as a doctor, find a lasting solution to problems like this. Why are you guys so incompetent?" Mr. Williams asked as Ashley shook his head in disappointment and pity for the female doctor who has just been lashed at.

He knew that his boss was never going to agree to that.

At this rate, they will have to deal with his madness.

" A lasting solution you say? How about if I chain you up here so you wouldn't have the opportunity to run mad and trouble us all?" Ava asked, looking straight up at him as she removed the drip on him. Their eyes locked in the process, and for the very first time, they both felt a rush bolt of emotion like an electric shock inside of them. What was that feeling? They both asked. Till now, Ava hasn't taken a closer look at him and so didn't notice how handsome and different he looked from everyone here. Even the aura around him was quite different. Does this man belong here? She wondered.

Who is this woman? Why is he suddenly having an abnormal heart rate? Williams asked himself as he quickly broke eye contact.

" I should leave now", Williams said as he got down from the bed.

" Sure you can, just ensure that you settle your bills and let nothing bring you here again even your stubbornness" Ava replied as Williams chuckled.

She is something else and has this knack for getting on his nerves.

" What? Do you want to beat me now? What's with that look?" Ava asked, seeing the way he was staring daggers at her.

" I'll leave you for today, may I not see you again!" Williams replied as he beckoned on Ashley to quickly pay the bills for them to get going.

"Gosh! What's with him? Who does he think he is? He has the vibes of a proud person. I only pity those friends of his" Ava said out loud after they had gone.
