(Liana's POV)

I stopped crying and was very relaxed in Avery's hug, I wiped my tears and smiled lightly, I looked outside my office, I am currently here at the coffee shop I own.

It's late, but the number of customers here at my coffee shop is increasing, sometimes I can't come here, it's good that my friend is here so I order everything from him, he's in charge for the time being while I'm away.

I can only go out once because my husband strictly forbids me to go out, I don't understand him but I can't do anything but obey him.

My husband is a CEO of a famous company that he manages here in the Philippines, his company is leading here in Asia. Everyone knows him not as the famous CEO of his company but he is also famous as a great model, which makes me proud but I can't help but feel sad and think why he became such a cruel person.

I also often hear that they form a group with his friends, I don't know what their purpose is why they have a group, but the important thing is that I shouldn't care about whatever he does, yes I am his wife and I have the right to know what he is doing and what he is doing but we are not like other married couples.

He will get angry if I interfere with him, he might even hurt me. I'm afraid because it's just a mistake of mine, I'm sure I'll be beaten up, he's a demon, I try to understand him but it's hard for him to understand as long as there's a mess, he'll get angry when I don't even know what his reason is.

"Hello, Ma'am Liana, someone is looking for you outside, it's your friend," announced one of my staff members here at the shop.

Avery and I looked at each other and slowly looked around the courtyard of my coffee shop.

My office has a glass wall so I can see the customers inside the coffee shop, I tried to figure out who the person was who was looking for me, I gasped when I saw Hadrian.

"Alright, you can leave" I said with a smile to my staff member, I turned to look at Avery and saw that he was laughing, I just made him suffer and the g*g* just made me laugh even more.

"Something funny?" I asked Avery annoyed.

Why is this man here, is he still here looking for me?

"Hayy nako girl! That man hit you so hard, considering how beautiful you are" Anas laughed.

I just looked at Avery and turned to Hadrian, just as I was looking at him, he also met my eyes, his smile was wide and he barely waved in my direction.

Sh*t is handsome.

He knows that I'm married but the stubborn man will destroy me. Hadrian also comes from a rich family, he's had a crush on me for a long time since I was in my 1st year college, I'll admit that I fell in love with him just because at that time Nuxes was already my fiancé.

"Go ahead and go see him!" Avery laughed and said, this woman still wants to push me to that man, I can't blame her because she voted for Hadrian, aside from being handsome, Hadrian is also kind and he's really that type of women.

I glared at Avery before standing up and heading in Hadrian's direction. When I arrived, he quickly pulled me to a chair and smiled widely.

How cute!

"Thanks, why did you come?" I asked while smiling, despite all the miserable life I've experienced but I still manage to smile, I'll admit that I'm sad but I try to smile because that's what I'm used to.

"Uhmm... I just want to see you, how are y----"

"Is there someone here with you?" I was suddenly overcome with fear and dread, my body seemed unable to move when I heard my husband's cold voice.

I looked at Hadrian before looking up at him, is this what I'm talking about?

"N-NUXES-----" I stopped when he came to me and kissed me on the lips, I trembled in fear when he whispered to me after kissing my lips.

"READY YOUR PUNISHMENT" he whispered which made me shudder, he sat next to me and stared lifelessly at Hadrian.

I looked at Hadrian and before looking at my husband again, they looked at each other as if they were fighting, maybe if it wasn't for the many people inside the coffee shop I'm sure these two would have fought.

I'm terrified, I'm afraid that my husband might be hot for Hadrian, even though he's my friend, he gives me false malice, he thinks I'm growing up, and I'm sure that's what he's thinking, he thinks I'm a man Hadrian

Oh God!

That's often the reason why he hurts me, he doesn't want to see me being approached by men so I avoid because he might kill me, but the things you avoid are the things that will come to you, what am I going to do?

I glanced at Avery and saw that he was also looking at me, he came towards us maybe he could read my eyes on him, I need his help.

"Hi Babe! You're here because we might be late for our date!" Avery pretended to pull Hadrian, confused Hadrian looked at Avery he would have screamed but Avery quickly pulled Hadrian out of the coffee shop, I breathed a sigh of relief.

"He's Avery's boyfriend?" He asked without emotion, I nodded in response to him, I turned to look at the customers here inside the coffee shop, I noticed earlier, that they often looked at my husband, maybe they recognized my husband, he is famous for that matter .

"That's Mr. Nuxes Jean Lawliet, right?"

"Omg he's even more handsome in person!"

"Ackkkk the handsome man can drop panties!"

"Is that his wife? She's beautiful and they're perfect!"

My customers are whispering a lot, others are taking pictures of us, I know that my husband doesn't like being photographed so I thought of asking him to go home, I wonder what else he can do with these people because I see you that he no longer likes what they do.

"Let's go home" sh*t I was scared, I held his hand and smiled lightly, he stared at me so I looked away.

"Uhmm... just wait here, I have something to tell Maureen" I pointed out to one of my staff, I stood up and went to the counter, I approached Maureen with a smile and narrated my wishes. Maureen is the one I often go to when Avery is busy

"Let's go!" when I invited my husband when I got close to him, he stood up and suddenly touched my waist, even though I was scared I didn't move it, I could feel the stares of most people even though our backs were turned.

When we finally got out, I saw two fancy cars belonging to my husband, suddenly one of his staff appeared and quickly opened the door. First, I entered, followed by Nuxes.

The two of us were in the passenger seat while the car started and a car followed us, I could feel Nuxes' burning gaze, I swallowed and got nervous again.

"I miss you wife" I glanced at her and smiled lightly, I immediately turned away and seemed unable to breathe because of the pounding of my chest, I could feel her hot breath touching my neck.

I bit my lip as I couldn't look at him when I felt the touch of his lips on my neck.

A while ago I was with Hadrian because my friend's condition was almost in danger again, I don't know if this man doesn't want to see Liana, my friend almost died because of this man.

"Avery what are we going to do here?" Hadrian asked, I gave him a hard time and just gave him a bad look.

Why did Liana have a damn husband?! I feel sorry for that friend of mine, I wish Hadrian would have been her husband.

"Hadrian you know, that Liana's have a husband, then why don't you want to marry her!" I was annoyed by this, he gasped violently, yes I voted for him but, my vote won't do anything because my friend has no escape from his damn husband.

"Hadrian look, you will be the cause of Liana's suffering!" I said meaningfully, Hadrian didn't know Nuxes was mistreating Liana, so I can understand why he's confused now.

I thought despite everything that happened to my friend, I thought he couldn't handle it, I can't believe that he suffers from the cruelty of his wife, sometimes he comes to his coffee shop with bruises on his arm or side his lips.

I tried to save him from the hands of his wife but he himself objected, I tried to get Nuxes arrested but that didn't work, nothing will happen no matter what charges I file against that man.

He's a billionaire man, he's powerful and he can dismiss the case.

"What do you mean Avery?" he asked confused, I looked away, I shouldn't tell him that Liana is not doing well at the hands of her husband.

He may sympathize, and I know that man well, he's jealous, even if he's Liana's friend he's jealous, he's too bad, but that's what I'm sorry for, I'm Liana's friend but I can't even help him, even if he doesn't say I know everything that is inside him.

"Stay away from Liana, Hadrian. Please don't let her husband get into trouble!" I said and left beside him, I took him to the plaza so that he wouldn't get into trouble at the coffee shop.

Good thing I quickly pretended that Hadrian was my boyfriend.

I saw the fear in Liana's eyes earlier and it seemed that she couldn't rest, before she didn't experience pains, nor did she have bruises or wounds, but now oh god! as long as he has bruises on his arms but despite those wounds and bruises he still manages to smile at me and everyone.

I know that behind her wide smile, I know that despite her sadness and sorrow, sometimes I admire that woman, she is the type of woman who, even if the world is a burden, she still doesn't give up.

She is that kind of strong woman.

I got in a taxi and I was planning to go back to the coffee shop, I'm sure Liana and her damn husband are gone, I want to talk to Liana's parents about what is happening to their daughter, but Liana doesn't agree .

I understand Liana why she doesn't want to divorce Nuxes, that's because she has nothing left to lose, I believe that she can survive in the hands of her husband but she is afraid of something and I know what she is talking about, that is her families.

"Has Liana left yet?" I asked Maureen and her colleagues, they stood up properly when they saw me.

"Yes Ma'am Kaye, he is with his wife" I just nodded and went to my office.

I picked up my cell phone and quickly called Liana's number, I sat down on the sofa without being able to contact her, I just washed my face and put the cell phone on the table in annoyance.

Is he okay now?

What if his damn wife is hurting him, why is he experiencing this cruelty? when will he be free? I kept crying at his situation!
