"We really need you, Keith." Meet the eyebrow Jared told me. Earlier he was forcing me to join their mission today. But then I told them I would not come back first because I had a lot to hide. I couldn’t move properly and freely because of that Lorenzo.

"What is it Jared, you know you can't, right?" I said angrily. Even if I wanted to come along I couldn’t. I still have to go to Flix to get some documents that Colt will sign.

And I'm already annoyed by the fact that he can actually give it to Colt personally. He just really wanted to ruin my day.

"Keith, it's just now. Damon himself told you to come. If only Serena was here, it's okay for you to reject us. But it's different, the group depends on it."

I rested violently before slamming back into the car seat. I stared intently at Jared in the passenger seat. "So you want me to kill someone?"

Jared suddenly let out a weak laugh. "Nope, Damon will do that after you seduce Ace."

Suddenly my head heated up. That name, I will never forget that name. He killed Serena! "It's not easy what you're making me do." I have no appetite for answers.

Even if it was itchy that my hand would kill Ace Mystery I couldn’t do it. He's powerful, cunning too. It may already know who we are in the group. Although we have a nameless group, we are still known.

"Don't be so loud or I'll change my mind." annoyed I said before starting the car engine. "I need to go to Flix first. You know, I still have a job with him."

It was tempting for me to just continue driving.

Moments later we were in front of Flix's building. I immediately posted a smile when I encountered the two guards. They no longer questioned who the man with me was. That’s good, I don’t want to waste my time explaining.

The giggles of the women we passed did not escape me. So I looked at Jared sideways. And as expected, there was a playful smile on her lips.

"Hey, why can't you audition here? I think you're going to be an actor, after all you're good at getting women's hearts. You'll be popular on television by chance."

"Nah, maybe you'll still chase me when I become an actor." Smiling Jared said as we entered the elevator.

I laughed sarcastically. "In your dreams, playboy. I'm not like the women of the three of you. Maybe I'll step on your face so that no one will flirt with you."

"I'm going to report you to Damon. You're really going to hurt him." Laughing Jared said to me.

I immediately kicked him. "Stupid! I haven't gotten back at you for abusing me last week. You think I forgot about that ?!"

Jared was about to speak when I hurried out when the elevator door opened. He did nothing but follow me.

We stopped opposite a door. Before I entered I briefly confronted Jared. "Just wait for me here."

Jared gently hovered over me. Unsatisfied, he grabbed my shoulders and forcibly turned around. "Good, that Flix can't be demonized in the way you do now. But your cleavage ... uh, nevermind." he said before pushing me closer to the door. I could do nothing but go inside. If Jared hadn't pushed me in he might have tasted my nape again. Notice my cleavage!

I'm wearing well now. Fitted white v-neck shirt tucked in with the black jeans I was wearing. I also dyed a red stiletto. I let my hair in a messy bun. It's simple but I don't care, I'd rather be bored thinking that Flix or Colt will give it to me when I wear something like that again in the past.

"Good morning, Ms. Salvador. You looked pretty today." Flix smiled at me as soon as I entered his office.

"I'm always pretty, you just noticed now because we don't always meet." I raised an eyebrow at Flix.

I sat in the chair in front of his desk. My eyebrows were still raised when Flix handed me a folder.

"Colt has to sign that. Take it to him now or whenever you want. I know you won't succeed in signing that now." Flix teased me as I stared at him.

"Mr. Vierco, I know you've already taken steps to dig deeper into my character." I said smiling before standing up. I raised both my hands on his desk before gently bringing my face closer to Flix's. "I'll introduce myself to you."

I saw amusement in his eyes. He then smiled at me playfully. "Sure ..." he said before placing his hand on his lips. I noticed that he suddenly lowered his gaze. So I immediately followed what he was looking at. My eyes were so masculine when I saw the cheeks of both my breasts exposed in front of him.

With my hand I lifted Flix's face. "Eyes up here, asshxle." I said making Flix's eyes widen.

He said nothing else. He just laughed softly before leaning back in his swivel chair.

"If you don't stop what you're doing, start praying." I said coldly as Flix smiled even more.

"Because you're going to kill me? You can't kill me, Violet."

I didn’t reveal to Flix that I was surprised to hear. I didn’t expect him to quickly find out who I really was. "And why?"

"Because, I'm Colt's twin brother."

"So?"

"You love my brother, so you can't kill me." he said smiling at me.

I almost relate to what I heard. What brain does this Flix have? "Excuse me, Mr. Vierco, I guess you said the wrong thing."

"Oh Keith, where is your fight with Colt going? Let's bet, just a few months later, you'll admit you already love my twin." He even said he seemed very proud of himself.

"Wow, it's your advance to think. I didn't even think of such a thing. And Colt? No way, I'd rather be single for life than be with the twin you conceived with the devil." I said sarcastically before turning away.

"So let's make a bet. I'll give you a month. If you win, I'll set you free. I won't tell anyone that you're part of a group of hired killers."

I glanced at Flix's mischievous smile. Smile seems to have a plan. "And if you win?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.

"You'll marry my brother."

"Whatever Vierco." I was able to say before continuing to walk. Before I finally left his office I heard his loud laughter.

Who the hell would allow that bet? What are we staff in an e-book? Nah, that's not going to happen that Flix said. How many times has Damon told me that? I can't even count. But so far I have not had a relationship.

I love myself. I love being single.

I can move freely. It's just a hindrance to my work relationship.

"Maybe those eyebrows will be one of yours; welcome to meet eh." Jared teased me after I left.

"I don't know about you!" annoyed I said before starting to walk.

I'm disgusted! I hate Flix! I hate her twin! Bwisit talaga! All right, I'll accept Flix's challenge. I will make sure I win. And when that happens, I’ll tie them both up with Colt!
