"GOD !!! I hate him!" I said angrily when I got inside my condo.

I let out a loud scream before falling down on the bed. I feel like this day is too long. I’m sorry I met the Vierco twins! I’m sorry I agreed to what Flix wanted!

Dang! I nearly killed the great beast! If it weren't for the people I was hiding from I would have strangled that Colt in no time!

I stopped tweaking myself when I heard my cellphone ring; the cellphone that I've been using whenever we're on a mission. Damn, I wanna get over it. I want to forget everything!

"Hello?" I answered the call before casting spells a few times.

"Violet!" Loud says from the other line. His voice sounds the same. Nothing changed.

"I told you not to call if it's not important either." I said a little annoyed but I actually breathed a sigh of relief when I heard his voice.

"It's her death anniversary. We'll be waiting for you at her grave." At what Damon said I was suddenly taken aback. I almost forgot my best friend's death anniversary today.

"I'm sorry ..." I said softly before getting up from lying down. "... I'll just change my clothes."

When the call was over I quickly pulled out a black dress from my closet.

It has been a year since Serena died. My best friend, the best of the best. I don’t think he was killed that easily. I knew him differently. When he wants to kill someone, he will do it first. But why did he not avoid death?

She was the best hired killer. Other than Damon he was one of the most feared in our group. She can easily eliminate those who tried to get on her way.

Destiny is playful again.

When I finished dressing I immediately left my condo. I quietly took the elevator to the ground floor, where my car was.

I wasted no more time. I hurried the car to the cemetery where Serena was buried.

In less than an hour I parked my car on the side. I immediately got out of the car with a bunch of flowers. I was about to enter the cemetery when I noticed a black car stop on the other side of the road. My eyes almost widened when I recognized who the person was carrying it.

I hurried inside the cemetery and looked for friends.

"Hey, why do you seem to be running?" Jared commented to me. I ran to them while looking back.

"I saw a ghost." I will excuse.

"Who? Is it Lorenzo? Why don't you just silence that one? When you're no longer hiding now." Damon's suggestion to me.

My eyes rolled automatically. "They'll put more pressure on me."

"So, he's the one you saw?" Meet Greyson's eyebrow question.

"No, I saw the baboon." I answered annoyed before approaching Serena's grave.

I carefully placed the flower I had brought. Before caressing his name engraved on a tombstone.

"Until now I still can't believe it." Jared said later. I just nodded in response before looking at Damon.

Of the four of us here we knew Damon was hurt better. We are not unaware of the fact that he has something for Serena.

"Destiny is playable. We have no choice but to accept that." He spoke after a while before turning his gaze to the person who had caught his attention.

Out of curiosity, I followed the look of what Damon was looking at. And I regretted it immediately.

He's standing meters away from where we are. His eyes filled with longing. It is likely that she misses her late husband.

"Hey, that's Colt Vierco, known for having the best security company in Asia." Jared grabs my attention.

"And so?" I tried to hold on even though I almost sank to my feet when I noticed Colt looking at us.

"What's 'and so'? He's one of the best. That's all, he's a rock when it comes to Boss's insistence on the deal that Boss wants to happen." The frown when I looked at Jared. It's very talkative. I guess something knows it there.

"I don't give a damn." I said seriously before walking away.

"Ohh, our Violet's acting weird. Isn't there something you're not telling us?" Gray yelled at me. I no longer wonder why Serena is so annoyed with this man.

"Pissed off, Gray."

"We're not on a mission." Jared said laughing. I don’t know if I’ll laugh or be annoyed at Jared’s superficial thinking sometimes.

"His name's Greyson, idiot." Damon said coldly before walking with me.

We quietly left the cemetery. It would be nice if we could leave right away. I don't want to see him looking at me like I was stalking him. Duh! Who is he for me to follow?

"Keith ..." Damon called to me before I could get in my car. "You need to report in my office tomorrow. You've been hiding for too long."

"Damon, you know what I'm involved in. You know Lorenzo, even though the lust is strong in the body, it's still clear-minded and high in pride. So when he sees me, maybe I just won't be locked up. "

"We're here. The group can help you. And your older brother knows that." Meet the eyebrow he said to me.

I just got caught up in my senses. "But he still believed Lorenzo more."

"I work for Flix." I seriously said that met Damon's eyebrows.

"Flix who?"

"Flix Vierco."

"Colt's twin brother? Are you out of your mind ?! Why did you enter their lives?"

I forcefully grabbed Damon by both shoulders. I understand why he cares so much for me. He is the older brother in the group. While I was the youngest. So I can’t blame him if he ever worries for me.

"I'm fine, just for a while. I can do what Flix asks me to do right away. And when it's over, I'll come back to you." I explained he breathed a sigh of relief.

I was about to get in the car when Damon asked again. "What is he making you do?"

Damn.

If only I didn't want to tell them especially Damon.

But I have no choice. He had many ways to find out what job I had entered.

"I need to bring Colt to his office."

"Damn it, Keith! You know those like us are hot in their eyes."

"I can't refuse! Flix knows me, he knows Kuya as well as Lorenzo! He blackmailed me, so I'll be forced to beg that Colt monster to come out of his cage." I said at length. I immediately took a deep breath before continuing. "I'm afraid he might know even more about me. I don't want to involve you. Damon hugged me quickly. We also grabbed Jared and Gray’s attention. As well as the man who had just come out of the cemetery. "Hey, sweetie, don't cry. What you think won't happen."

"I accepted the job because I don't want to reduce us again." I said crying.

"Hush now, sweetheart." Damon was going to feed me before ordering Gray to give me the water he was holding. "We're here, we're going to help you get rid of Lorenzo. We're also going to help you finish your work with Flix right away."

I could do nothing but nod. Maybe I need their help too. But that doesn't mean I will rely on them for this job. As much as possible I don’t want to hurt them.
