Chapter 3

Looking at them now I felt nothing but hatred towards them and myself for not being able to do anything.

We were not permitted to leave the room until they told us to do so, if we wanted to take a dump or urinate there was a small bucket given to everyone.

We were not given food for three good days.

Now I understood why we were given that large sum of food on the first day we arrived here.

jenny who had a weak body needed to eat good food every day if not her condition would worsen, she laid on the ground not able to move a single inch, her face looking up at the ceiling.

Her beautiful face looked pale, her eyes had lost the brightness they once had all I could see now is emptiness, seeing her like this made my heartache.

A lady came in with some guards, she scanned the hall carefully, I saw her saying something to the guard before leaving the hall, immediately she left the guards went around the hall dragging people to the front, children included, one of them came to my side and looked me in the eyes before moving to next lane, I released the sigh I didn't know I was holding.

I dragged myself to Jenny's side hugging her tightly, the guards left with half of the people in the hall leaving half of us

"Papa...what is going to happen to us now " a little boy in rags said, he was been held in the arms of the man he called father.

"I.....I don't know" the man said his face looking lifeless, he was staring at the air,

"Hahahaha....hahaha.....I don't know...I don't know just kill me already this is worse than death" he was insane

"Papa...papa"  the little boy stared at his father looking terrified

*next day

We were allowed to go out of the room and was taken to a dining room, I managed to carry jenny to the dining hall

We were given a huge bowl of spaghetti and meatball, with a hamburger on another plate and a bottle of water,  everyone rushed their meal as if we were participating in a food competition some tried to smuggle the burgers into their clothes including me but the guard caught up with what we were doing, the guard did nothing but collected the burger from us.

After the meal we were taken to another room where the lady who looked like the boss sat crossing her legs, I later found out her name was lilac

"The first sales were amazing, the goods were bought immediately, I must say I am indeed impressed with the out turn, today we are going to be taking two hundred humans, both male and female

I and Jenny were counted among the females, I was anxious yet glad that we were not separated from each other,  the female worker gave us clothes to change into.

The clothes exposed sensitive parts of our bodies, I felt very uncomfortable in them, we were dressed like the ladies in a brothel, our hair styled beautifully, faces packed with excess makeup

The male elite eyes never left our bodies they looked at us with lust in their eyes, they smiled devilishly as if satisfied with what they were seeing, their actions made me feel even more uncomfortable and more aware of my surrounding,  we were taken to a room which had over fifty-five mattress,

Two people for a bed, I dragged Jenny to a bed which was beside the wall, it was a good spot, she moved awkwardly behind me in her gown, she looked uneasy in it.

The clothes we wore outside the wastelands were a free t-shirt and trousers which helped us move faster, on the other hand this dress hugged Jenny like a second skin, bringing out her perfect hourglass shape which I didn't know she possessed.

Wide hips with just the right amount of backside, a medium-sized burst and  long smooth slender legs,

her long hair was let loose,  some fell to the front while the rest remained at the back, she was beautiful

I always knew that she was the prettier one, she looked feminine in every way, from her pretty face down to hear voice which was soothing to the ear.

We got to the mattress at the side thankfully no one was interested in staying at that position, Jenny forced a smile at me carefully getting in top of the bed, the moment her face made contact with the bed she slept off, guess she was really tired.

The mattress was so soft and luxurious,  it was the first time we had such luxury to sleep on a bed.

The morning came faster than the last one maybe because I slept peacefully, we were still in the dress that was given to us.

People arrange their bed neatly placing the bed covers neatly in a stack, everyone seemed lighter than usual

"Good morning April, I slept so well last night" Jenny said with a smile

she seemed to be a lot better lately, I  stood up, also I noticed a slight change in Jenny's attitude.

We all came out of the room, some elites whistled as a girl who looked like she was in her twenties walked pass them,  she was wearing a gown which showed her cleavages her back was exposed showing her clean white skin,  he hair was very short which did nothing to cover her skin she had wide hips which were visible in her gown, the gown had three long splits which ended on her upper laps, she looked very seductive,  I dreaded why we were dressed up like dulls, something was fishy

Do they want to traffic us?

The lady rosy lips dropped it was obvious she was not enjoying the attention she was getting, an elite guard boldly walked up to her and slapped her butt, he had a smug look on, looking at her like a lion who was waiting to pounce on his prey.

Some of the elite who seemed to be interested in that kind of stuff whistled I felt sorry for her, she looked so helpless her eyes were tearing up every second I two she would be her hands close to her eyes in an attempt to wipe her tears

She was pretty no doubt but that does not mean she should be treated that was it was not her fault for wearing such a dress, we were divided into five but this time Jenny was not going to be with me,  I panicked

"Please can I be in that group" I pleaded with the lady who divided us

"Stay in the group you are assigned to and that is final"  she said coldly with no expression on her pretty face, even the cold ones had a pretty face.

"Please, my sister is on the other side, I just want to be by her side," I said almost tearing up

"Not my business"  the lady said coldly slightly irritated

"But.." Before I could finish what I wanted to say I heard a resounding slap followed by a sharp sting it was then I knew that I was the one that was slapped

"A servant doesn't order his master," she said angrily and continued grouping and accessing the rest

I fell to the ground completely helpless

Jenny gave me a sad smile and muttered something I did not quite get, she was one of the first badges who left I tried pursuing them,  before I could get to where she was I received a hard chop on my neck before I knew it my body went numb and I fell to the ground, I slowly closed my teary eyes.

I woke up to find jenny sitting close to me with a worried look, I sat up immediately,  she looked relieved when she saw that I was awake I was so happy to see her but how come

"How did you get here," I said as I touched her to check for any injury

"The bus was not able to contain everyone that was why we were grouped, so normally we were all meant to come here,  the males are also here......a just so happy that we did not get separated if not..." She said and paused, I knew what she wanted to say I caressed her back

"We would always be together, no matter what"  I touched her cheek softly

I looked around to access my surrounding I noticed we were in a tent, outside was very noisy which surprised this was the first time they were taking us to a noisy place, what could be going on.

My neck was still in pain from the chop I received earlier today, it was indeed painful I tried to ignore the pain and concentrate on what was on the ground

"Why is there noise coming from outside, I something wrong" on hearing this Jenny's beautiful face dropped turning into a frown

"What ...is happening outside," I said with a big frown

"We....are being sold off " jenny said calmly, I knew something like this was going to happen   I was expecting it,  the food, dress and the cloth made it all clear I was not too surprised but I was afraid,  what if we were not bought by the same person, it had come to this, praying to be bought by the same masters everything happened so fast,  I smiled sadly.

I hope we don't get separated

*OUTSIDE THE TENT

Everywhere was lively, the place had a korea setting, every male was wearing robes and the females wore cute gowns, they were generally called Manhart

Males and females were placed on the stage and auctioned off by the auctioneer, his voice was loud and clear

"And this here is a man with great build, he would get rid of your stress, he is of great help in guarding and also Cleaning carrying heavy loads" the man who looked like he was in his early thirties had muscular stature,  he moved uncomfortably a people where bidding off him, a puffy knight manhart raised his hands looking a calm and composed as ever,

"One million yen" he said, his voice neither low nor high,  everyone looked in the auditorium looked at him even the auctioneer was shocked,  why would anyone buy him at such a high price, the auctioneer's side lips curled up in a smile

"Going.....going and..... gone....so we have it, he is now your new owner come to the back of the stage to make your payments" after saying all that he motioned for the next person, the next person was a female and the one who got hit on the butt, she shakingly walked towards where the auctioneer stood, immediately she enter everyone started whistling and clapping, the men  smiled in satisfaction while some licked their lips, they all liked what they were seeing

The auctioneer grinned and started the bidding at five hundred yen, everywhere was silent, waiting for their opponent to show their cards

"Six hundred," a boy who looked like he was sent by his master said

"One million," a lady said from the front row she looked calm and composed, she was overflowing with confidence one would think she was going to be the buyer.

The lady on the stage was shocked by the amount they were willing to buy her even if she doesn't know how much she cost, she knew it would be a lot coming out of their pocket

"One point one million" another lady said,  the auctioneer could not help but grin because she surpassed the male and this was only just the beginning he started the male own at two hundred yen.

"Two million" a robust man said as he looked greedily at her,  the young lady prayed silently in her heart for another person to say something even if she wanted to be sold she wished she could choose her buyer

"One billion" the auctioneer eyes widened as he heard the price, everyone turned back to look at the person who said it, the young man's face was covered he was wearing a black coat no one could figure out his identity.

When his eyes met with the young lady's own her heart skipped a bit, one could tell he was good looking just from his eyes.

"Going..." Everyone was at loss, they all decided to wait for the next one who knows maybe she could be prettier some lustful men thought to themselves

"Going....and gone" the lady felt relieved, she felt in her heart that she was sold off to a better man than the fat man, which made his intentions very clear

She blushed slightly as she remembered exchanging glances with the young man

INSIDE THE TENT

A woman who looked like she was close to her fifties entered the tent where the exchange took place,  she walked gracefully to where the auctioneer stood, the auctioneer knew his face and quickly bowed to show his respect, the woman waved her hands to signal her approval, the auctioneer was sweating inwardly he knew that any mistake would cost his life.

"It's so nice of me to have you here madam, make yourself comfortable" the auctioneer said

The lady ignored him and went ahead to say what she was here for in the first place, she brought the fan closer to her face

"I need fifty men and fifty women each" she said as she scanned through the room to we if they were pleasant to the eyes.
