8. Blade`s best friend Drake

"It would be better if I’m the one who is going to carry her. What had happen is my fault." Drake whispered.

"I don't trust you, Corpse. Maybe you can just take Rane again."

Drake pouted at Blade but he helps Rane to ride behind Blade. They immediately leave that place.

"Ahm... How did you know, Sir Blade that Drake kidnapped me?" Rane ask.

"It's just Blade, we're not at school. You're making me old! I'll tell your classmates that too when I'm out of school. I prefer you just call me Blade."

"Eh why? You're really old! You can't even count your years." Drake interjected.

"Tse! Son of a bitch!"

"Ehem! How did you know Drake kidnapped me?" Rane ask again.

"Conrad called me. Karen saw this corpse kidnapping you. She begged me to take you home."

"Really?! Karen?" Rane couldn't believe it.

She doesn't even remember that they already reconcile about their misunderstanding.

"By the way, Rane... Why did you make the spell that would release Blade from prison?" Drake ask curiously.

Rane held a smile.

"Because the book says, that angel will change my life. I did it because I feel, I am always alone. I am sad being alone."

"You are wrong, Rane. Even though Karen was a nuisance on your life, she seems to care about you. Conrad and your parents do the sam .. The people around you loves you. " Blade said.

Drake agrees on Blade.

They went to Rane’s house and make sure that no one notices them. They passed the terrace of Rane's room on the third floor of the mansion. The slowly laid Rane in her bed and says their goobye. After that, the two immediately went to Karen’s room.

"You have nothing to remember... Nothing happened." Drake used his ability to erase Karen's memories.

He tapped his right finger and Karen fainted. He caught it and gently laid it on the bed. Blade just watched.

"Come on, let's go home Drake."

Rane's parents are not there because they are out of town.

"What about Rane's younger brother?" Drake asked.
