Chapter 2

Walking into second period I noticed Liam isn't seated at his desk.

I guess they are skipping again. When I ask where they are going. They just tell me not to worry about it. I guess I will pick up all their homework for them like I always do.

After math class, I spin the next three classes bored out of my mind. I am now walking into six period science class. This is also the only class I have all three boys together, but they decided to skip. So now I am seated at my table by myself.

I let out a yawn and take my water bottle out of my bag to get a drink. As I am sipping my water from my bottle. I hear tapping on the windows. I look out and spit my water everywhere. As I see Liam, Dimitri, and Lucia standing at the window with wide grins on their faces.

I set my water bottle down on our table, and walk over opening the science window. So the three of them can climb inside. As I shut the science window the room was filled with chatter.

I across my arms over my chest as I stare at the boys. " Why couldn't you guys just walk around?" I asked them.

" Why walk around, when you can open the window?" Liam says in duh tone.

I roll my eyes, " Whatever, since you guys are here. I guess I should give you guys. All the class assignments you ditched out of again." I tell them as I pick my backpack off the ground and start placing there work assignments in front of each of them.

" You do realize we could have got those ourselves right?" Lucia says with a sly smile.

" Yeah right. Last time you asked a teacher for something. He got fired for hitting a student." I tell Lucia reminding him about the time he pissed off our last science teacher. The guy swing at Lucia and broke his nose. The teacher got fired and the next day he was found beaten to a bloody pulp. He ended up dying in the hospital from his injuries.

No, one knows who it was. But rumor around town is he pissed off someone in the mafia. Not to mention the rumors going around the school and town about Dimitri, Lucia, and Liam.

People are saying they are apart of the mafia. Even rumors about Lucia being the one that killed our old science teacher.

" Yeah, well that dickhead deserved to be fired. He was a total dick head. Not to mention it was gross how he would constantly rub against you. When he thought no one noticed." Lucia says his hand balling intona fist.

" Chill out, the guys dead anyway." I remain him. Lucia shrugs, " Should have beat him longer." He mumbles real low earnings a glare for Dimitri and Liam.

Did he just admit to beating the shit out of our old science teacher? I'll just pretend I didn't hear it.

" What you say?" I asked with straight face.

" He said, he should have beat his meat longer." Liam tells me causing the table in front of us to snicker.

I make a face and shake my head, " Thats disgusting." I says as the three of them just laugh.

The rest of science class went by pretty fast. Mainly because our group finished the group activity and was just goofing off the remainder of class.

They are pretty smart even though they skip more school than anyone here. I honestly don't know how they get away with skipping so much. I got a phone call and had to come to school sick, because I was missing too many days.

Than I got detention for sleeping in class. I was so sick that I didn't even care. They wanted me here sick. So I came to school. Didn't say I had to pay attention.

Thats the one thing about this crappy school system. They want you to stay home when you are sick, but force you to come to school by threatening you with child services. Not to mention the teachers pick favorites. When they say they don't. Not to mention the slutty girls get to wear inappropriate clothes to school, but if someone like me does it. We get a detention.

Now that I think about it. Maybe the school is just so shitty they don't care who skips. Just as long as its not someone like me. You know not very popular and even though my parents have decent jobs. We would are still considered poor.

" So, are you guys going to your last class?" I ask them as the bell rings ending sixth period.

Putting all my books in my bag. I notice they are whispering to each other.

I guess that is a no..So instead of having Dimitri in my history class to keep Daniel from bugging me. I am going to be by myself yet again.

" You guys are skipping again?" I asked getting irritated.

" We got stuff to do. We can make it up to you with ice cream after school." Liam says with a soft smile.

" No, its fine. Have fun with whatever it is." I tell them as I walk out the room not giving them a chance to say anything else to me.

I swear, if all they are going to do is skip school. Why even show up at all! I can't help but feel like I am losing my only friends. They are becoming distance with me. They might not be doing it on purpose, but it still sucks being alone.

Walking into history class. I take a seat in the back of the class were I always sit.

When Daniel notices Dimitri isn't in class. He takes Dimitri seat thats right next to me. " Where's your boyfriend?" he asked with a smirk.

Daniel is from a rich family just like Dimitri. They hate each other for some reason. Never understood why. Liam said is was because of bad family history between the two. Whatever the hell that means.

" He isn't my boyfriend and I don't know where he is." I say irritatedly as I slam my books onto my desk.

" Someone's in a feisty mood." He says clearly getting amused by me.

I sigh, " Can we not do this today? I am not in a good mood."

I am really not in the mood for his shit today.

" What am I doing?" He asked innocently with a smirk plastered on his face.

" You know exactly what you are doing. You are being annoying like always." I say as the teacher finally walks into the classroom.

The last hour was like hell. Mainly because Daniel wouldn't leave me alone. I tried to ignore him, but than he would just throw paper balls at me or poke me with his pencil.

When the bell finally rang. I shoved me books in my bag and went to head to the door. Only for Daniel's friends Nate and James block the exit.

" Where are you going?" Daniel asked in cocky tone.

I smirk, " I am leaving." I say as I swing my backpack at Nate. Hitting him in the crotch and slam a few desk into James legs.

I dart for the door and start running down the hallway. I can feel my heart pounding in my chest as I squeeze through groups of people.

In the distances I can hear Daniel yelling my name.

Man, I should really exercise more. My chest is starting to burn. I run outside and scan the parking lot. Until my eyes land on Dimitri's truck. The three of them were smorking and leaning against the front of truck talking.

I start running towards them.

By the time I reach them. I am coughing and trying to catch my breath.

" What has gotten into you?" Liam asked me as I was still struggling to catch my breath.

I spot Daniel and his friends heading this way. Since I can't speak at the moment. I gestures towards them.

Dimitri follows my hand gesture as his face harders and turns cold.

" Liam, help Amara into the truck." Dimitri says in a stern tone.

I feel Liam pull me to my feet and opens the back seat for me.

I climb inside and he shuts the door. He walks around the front of the truck and leans against the hood.

" What the fuck do you want?!" Dimitri snaps at Daniel.

" Right, now I want an apology from your little pet! She hit Nate here in the crotch and slammed a bunch of desk into James legs." Daniel snaps back.

" She wouldn't have done it unless you tried to do something to her. After all She perfectly capable of protecting herself." Lucia says back his hands balling into a fist.

Daniel stares at me intensity before staring at Dimitri, Lucia, and Liam. " It doesn't matter. You guys are bound to leave her alone again." He says with a smirk as they walk away.

My hands were still shaking and my chest was still burning.

I watched as Dimitri got in the driver seat. Liam got in the passenger seat. While Lucia climbed in the back with me. I could tell by looking at Lucia he was pissed.

" What happened!" Dimitri snapped at me.

" Why is this my fault!" I snapped back at him. " He was being annoying the whole class period throwing paper balls at me and poking me with his damn pencil. Than when I am trying to leave. They block my path and won't let me leave. So, yea! I hit Nate in the crotch with my backpack and slammed a few desk into James legs." I huff out as I cross my arms around my chest and lean back against the seat.

The three of them were quiet for a long while, before Dimitri turns the truck on.

The sound of the engine coming to life fills the silence of the truck. As he starts pulling out of the school parking lot and driving down the road.
