Chapter 2

Skylar

I skipped down the steps to the kitchen,I sat on a stool and looked at Letty preparing breakfast "hey" I chirp "hey you, you okay?" Letty asks handing me a box of Trix and a carton of milk,a bowl and a spoon "thanks,I'm alright,you?"I ask happy to see food, "I'm great, glad your here"she replied with a smile, "same,I talked to grandma last night"I say, "me too,she's glad you reached safely"Letty grinned, "she told me, so what are we doing today?" .

"I'm not sure,Kent wanted us to go out somewhere, the three of us"Letty says, "really,where?"I ask interested, I haven't been out with my sister in a long time,  "I don't know,beach, anywhere you wanna go", I thought about it, "beach" "okay,I'll tell him" "he's really taking time off to spend time with us?" "yup,start packing towels" "on it", yaay,the beach.

After me messing with Letty,I finally changed into a black bikini then went for a swim, I haven't gone swimming in a while, the water was amazing,and the eyes were closing in.

Damon

My uncle asked me to join him and his fiancé at the beach, I put off my meetings for it,since I haven't relaxed in a while, I've been too busy with the bank and everything.......after my secretary finished clearing everything, I left to my car,I own a bank,the largest in New York, girls still go crazy over me,but there's still one girl I can't get over,Skylar Destiny,after I made her life hell so many times, she still stuck around until that one day she said goodbye, I couldn't forgive myself for ruining her life,but I became the man she always wanted me to be,responsible,rich,have my own business.

Sky saw a lot in me that I didn't see in myself......thanks to her,I'm successful, she always pushed me to do homework and if I didn't, she'd punch me a few times until my nose bleeds,after she left the school that day,I haven't seen or heard about her,I took those hits and advice's seriously until I got what I wanted in life.

"Uncle Kent" I call to my uncle sitting at the bar on the beach,he smiles "Damon,its nice to see you"he says shaking my hand, "same,so where's the pretty lady you've told me so much about?" I ask, "oh right,Letty",she turns to look at me, "Damon, hi"Letty smiles, "uh....hi,it's been-"I start scratching my head, "five years,you look great"she smiles again,  "you too"I smile back, she smiles just like her sister, Sky.

Uncle Kent looked confused "am I missing something?"he asks, "sorry,Damon used to be Sky's best friend before she moved to Paris"Letty says, "Paris?" I ask "yeah,but she's here with us today" Letty says looking around "oh there she is" she points down to the water and I'm struck by the beauty coming out of the water, "that's Sky?" I ask feeling my breath hitch,the things she did to me and she never noticed, "yeah,I was baffled when I saw her pictures and then at the airport two days ago"she grinned, "wow".

She ran a hand through her hair then flashed it,the black bikini she wore was fitting her perfectly as the water droplets ran down her body,when the heck did I lose that,she bit her lip picking up a towel from a chair then wrapped it around her and walked over to us, "Kent,I swear,I haven't been to the beach in a while, thank you" Skylar says hugging Uncle Kent,he hugs her back "your welcome", her eyes flashed up to mine and her eyebrows creased "who's this?"Sky asks confused,she was beautiful, more than before.

"Damon"Uncle Kent says, her mouth shaped an O then she looked at me again "oh,Damon Hilton?"she asks as if go make sure she got my name correct, "yeah,you guys used to be best friends" Letty says,

"right,how are you Damon?" Skylar asks,I could hear the French accent in her voice,it sounds so sexy, "I'm fine,you?", her eyes travel from my face to my abs "you've always been fine, but it was nice seeing you,Letty I gotta go"Sky says picking up her belongings.

"Where?"her sister asks grabbing her towel,  "well,this really hot guy asked me out and I said yes,so yeah that's about it"Sky says shrugging, "oh,okay, be home by one"Letty says sternly, Sky scoffed before replying, "yeah yeah,bye Kent,Damon"she says walking away, "bye"I replied, I watched her walk away,okay, she had a nice ass,not that she didn't five years ago,but now,she's gotten way more mature.

"I know that look" Letty says "what look?" I ask "the love struck ones,I've known you for years Damon,those eyes are for Sky aren't they?"Letty asks looking up at me, "always were,but she's never gonna forgive me"I say sadly, I watched Sky leave with a blonde guy,I felt a tug on my heart and then that feeling of not caring.

"I never thought I'd see the day she accepts a date" I say sipping my drink "well,when your in your office,search for Lady Dez,you'll find some interesting things"Letty says putting her hair up in a bun,  "why?"I ask,  "just do it"she smiles.

After we had a nice talk,I got a girl to take home, as usual anyway, I never stick to one girl.....Skylar Destiny,she was the only girl that actually put up with my ways and I had to lose her.

Damon was hotter than before,guess he still works out,I never thought I'd see his face again, but its nothing to me anymore.......I looked at my phone for the time,its passed twelve, I was at a club with this blonde who asked me out,he was really sweet,but I am not interested in him.

"I'm gonna go" I say in his ear,but I got him too drunk to even know what I'm saying "uh,sure,have fun" he says slurring, I snort getting up with his wallet,I walked out of the club looking through it,.

"Does that belong to you?", I look around at the person, Damon, "is it any of your business?" I ask "hmm,touché Skylar,always with the snarky comebacks"he says walking toward me, I backed away slowly,  "didn't think you'd notice,anyway, I've gotta get going, fairy godmother said I've got twenty minutes before the clock chimes one"I say winking, I left throwing the wallet at him, he caught it,what's he even doing- right,he's always at a club.

I woke up and took a shower,I was going out with Letty,to a restaurant, not Kent's, she's avoiding the paparazzi that's always there,poor thing, "so,how did your date go?" Letty asks "went fine like a bottle of wine"I answer, "you got him drunk?"Letty asks shocked,  "yup, don't worry,he won't remember my face, just the accent and the body",that's all they can remember,my French accent wasn't really thick, but it was cute, men love hearing me speak, they say its captivating.

"I saw a future you know" I say to my sister "I know, but look at you now,you don't have money,but your rich,you buy what you want whenever you want,your hot,even more gorgeous"my sister says with a proud smile,  "awe,by the way,how does Kent know Damon?"I ask,  "Kent is his Uncle,on his dad's side" "oh,how nice" "yeah".

I only knew his mom's side of the family,she had so much money to throw around, Damon was spoilt over and over, "hello ladies", we look up at Damon,great, "hi" we say,I was just being polite because Letty's here, "can I join?" Damon asks "sure" "yeah,why not", he sits and him and Letty got in a deep conversation, I was in my phone as usual, talking to people.

I don't have a job but I'm a very  busy woman,I know a lot of club owners who hire me to lower rich men into their clubs,and I get lots of millions to do those things, and I know a lot of photographers who pay a lot to get a juicy gossip from someone, and I'm hired,although they always say its anonymous, then there's this other club owner Anthonio Jezzy,that man is in love with me, thanks to him,I shop wear I want,when I want,and how I want,he'd spend on me more than he does his wife I tell yah.

Speaking of, he's calling right now, "I gotta take this,I'll be right back"I say getting up, "you've been busy all morning Sky"Letty pouts,  "I know, but this is the last call I'm taking", I walked away and answered my phone, "I haven't seen you around Sky"Anthonio says, I could hear the sound of music in his background, he's at his club,  "I'm not in Paris Anthonio,I came to see my sister"I tell him before he threw a fit,  "why didn't you tell me?" , "I'm sorry, I'll be back though" "oh okay love,I have to go" "yeah,bye" "bye".

"Who was that?" Letty asks "one of my many clients"I answer with little information,  "oh really, I bet he's a special one"she says eyeing me.  "You can say that........so Damon,what do you do for a living?" I ask Damon "well I own a bank" he answers "it's nice to hear you settled down,you finally took someone's advice".

Letty got up answering her phone, really?, "it was actually your many advices that made me realize how messed up my life was" "hmm,I never had anyone to push me except my sister,but I gave up on dreams a long time ago" "you weren't the type to give up" "my project was never turned in,I never got to go to college, but hey,I'm still very busy and I don't have a job but I've got money" "I am sorry Sky,I didn't think-" "just like Damon,you only think when it concerns you,I don't forgive you but it's nice to know you got something out of life",he knows I was never the one to put him off or give up on him,it's actually nice that he's successful.

"Do you still do art?" Damon asks as I sipped my wine "not really,I don't have time to do that anymore, I've got clients to deal with"I replied not ready for the conversation that followed, "what kind of clients, because you seem awfully busy"he says concerned, like I need his concern,  "hmm,I'm a..........what would the girls in school call it?.......a must have item?"I ask with a toying smile, "you're not a hooker Skylar?"he asks immediately, dick!.

"No,but you'll be surprised by my bank account",Letty sat back in her seat, "sorry about that"she says looking between us,  "it's fine",we had a nice lunch, well making Letty wanna kick me out because Damon and I had disagreements,was worth it.

"I can't believe you told him to screw a horse Skylar" Letty says and I snort "well he can,can't he"I say annoyed,  "you weren't like this at all Sky", my sister looked hurt for a bit but I couldn't bf anything, it's not my fault.  "I learned to give up on dreams,its kind of a habit",she gave me a look, "it's not like he cares anyway,he's the same old Damon Hilton,ladies swoon at him,he's still the same jerk I put up with"I say rolling my eyes.

"You could've at least been nicer"Letty says,  "I was,he can go screw a horse then a pony after,its not hard you know", she sighs wrapping an arm around me, "I wish you'd see that he's sorry" "if he was,then he'd live his life the way I wanted him to and forget I exist, I can't wait to move back to Paris".
