"Are you coming home, Jo?"

From fixing the bag Joanne turned to the inquirer. It was her friend, Chad. He is a schoolmate and he also lives in the subdivision where he lives. Her sister and her older brother are in love so the two of them became close. She considered him her best guy friend.

He nodded. "Yup."

"Sweetheart. I have a soccer practice today. I can't take you home with me. ”

“` Sus! All right."

It tapped him lightly on the shoulder. “All right, be careful. Bye. ”

Smiling he waved it. When he lost sight of it, he made his way out of the school. There are only a few students. Past five na din kasi. The only ones who arrive are your evenings in class.

He put earplugs in both ears and sang in the mind as he continued to walk. He had not been able to walk far when someone tapped him on the shoulder.

Frowning he turned to the owner of the hand. Gradually his frown disappeared and was replaced by a smile when he saw the owner of the hand.

"Mac!" shocked she greeted the man and removed the earplugs.

He smiled sheepishly. "You're going home?"

He nodded. "Yep."

"I'll bring you." It was not a question but a statement.

He just smiled. It guided him to the parking lot. It even supports him in his arm. He seemed to be tickled when he felt his hot and rough hand on her arm.

It even opened the door for him!

Chivalry isn’t dead!

“So, want to have an early dinner? My treat. ” Marcus suddenly asked.

She was about to decline, saying she’s feeling nervous and awkward around him but when he flashed his oh-so wonderful and infamous smirk, she found herself nodding at him.

Can he refuse this one?

Mac took him to a Korean restaurant. He glanced at the menu he was holding. She doesn't know much about Korean dishes so she doesn't know what tastes good. So it is he just ordered it safer to hear.

"It's just Korean beef stew for me, Mac." He said to the man in front.

Mac has already said their orders. He frowned at its order. “Bulgogi? What is that? ”

"Beef minarinate in various ways."

"Ah."

“I should order-in. That's why you might be scandalized by what you see. ”

"Why, what is that?" he asked in astonishment.

"Live octopus."

His eyes almost popped out at what he heard. "Are you still alive?"

"Yup."

He frowned. "I will never come with you again when that is what you ordered."

Her eyes seemed to twinkle as she smiled. "Is there another date after this?"

Her cheeks flushed especially when she saw Mac's teasing smile. "W-what I'm trying to say is… What…" annoyed he threw a napkin at her when he laughed as if teasing. "Tse!"

Laughing it grabbed his hand resting on the table and squeezed it. “I am glad to know that you want to be with me. Me too, eh. ”

Her heartbeat quickened as if she had come from a Milo marathon.

“So, when will we date again? Since you suggested that. ”

He shrugged it off. But deep inside, she’s happy to be finally with the man of her dreams. Though this wasn’t a real date, she’s happy to spent time with Mac. Even though he did not know the reason why it was approaching him, he did not care.
