Prologue
Manager Prince Yun heaved a sigh as he watched his juniors rehearsing dance and singing inside the studio. As he looked at them, he could not help but remember the first day he met and was with these men. They used to be teenagers but now they are adults.
Time flies so fast. It was as if it was just yesterday when they all decided to come with them here in Korea. It felt like it was only yesterday when they run away from their home country as if they were being chased by ghost or something.
Seven years but it felt like yesterday only.
Manager Prince could not help but let out a deep sigh. He could not help but feel guilty because it felt like he was one of the reasons why they became like this.
During the seven years these men have been immersed in the chaotic world of entertainment where the previous two years have been spent in workshops and classes, he can say that they have come a long way. He should be happy for the juniors but that is not how he feels.
Because ge knows how his juniors really feel.
Even though they smiled every day, he knew there was a hidden pain and bitterness behind it. Especially with the youngest of the group. He thinks this is the one with the most hidden anger of all. Angry because…
"Manager…" said a voice in Korean.
He turned to hear the speaker. That was one of the assistants here at Summit Entertainment.
"Yes?" he replied in the same language. The only ones he can speak in English and Tagalog are his pets and some members of the staffs.
He still remembers why he chose these thirteen men to form a group with so many people who auditioned then. Apart from their talents, they all come from the same country — the Philippines. That is why they can speak Tagalog and English.
"Somebody wants to talk to you, Manager."
He followed it as it turned away. When they entered his office, the figure immediately stood up.
“I’m an awful person, Prince. It was my fault why he’s bitter for so long. ”
He was supporting the person he was talking to when he suddenly stood up. He sat it on the sofa and reached for the water. He directly revealed to her what he had done before — what he said was his fault to one of his pets.
“I want him to be happy, too, Prince. Help me correct my wrong doings. He deserves to be happy. ”
An idea immediately entered his mind. What he wants to do will be uncalled for but this was what he thought best to do right now. He knew someone who could help him regarding this plan. And that person will surely help him.
When the interlocutor left, he removed the lower drawer from his desk. From there he pulled out a brown envelope. He read an information there and d-nial the number there.
"Good afternoon, Richard…"
