Lucky and Maya were happily talking when suddenly the door of the girl's room opened violently. Genesis rushed in. Lucky put down the iPad she was holding and sat up straight on the bed.

"Gin, what brings you here?"

the friend did not speak, he was looking at her seriously. Later, his jaw suddenly tensed and he seemed to walk angrily towards her bed.

"I told you, didn't I?"

"What are you talking about?" she asked the man confused. what is the problem and suddenly rushed to her house without a word. "If you're talking about the insemination, I already said, you don't need to go since Maya is with me."

"Ahmp... I think I should leave the room? It looks like you two need to talk about something," Maya interjected and quickly left the room.

"Why did you do that, Luck?"

"What are you talking about?" Lucky's heart began to beat faster. No! It can't be. that's impossible Genesis is referring to, no one knows what she did except Maya and Dra. Caladieae.

“You know what I'm talking about, Luck. Why the f*ck did you do that? I've told you countless times that I don't want to do it yet you stole it from me," Genesis shouted angrily. as if the vein in its neck would burst in anger.

"G-gin, please let me explain. It’s not what you think—”

"No need to explain things. It's clear to me...you're a sperm thief, Lucky Etheswyth. You're the worst!!” Genesis shouted accusingly while pointing at her.

Lucky shook her head one after another. this can't be happening, no! How did Genesis find out about the crime she committed? Her friend was very angry with her. What will she do? What can she possibly say here to get Genesis to forgive her? She's guilty because of what she did. she stole something from him and now she's paying for her crime. Her friendship with Genesis will be destroyed and she will do all that.

"Genesis, hear me out–" A small object hit Lucky's face. she didn't notice what it was but she saw that Genesis threw a stone at her. she looked down and her eyes widened when she saw what it was–it's a ring!

"Gin, what is this?"

"You stole my freedom, so now I'm stealing yours. wear that ring and marry me, Lucky Etheswyth.”

Tears fell from Lucky's eyes that she had been holding back. This is not what she wanted to happen. This was not her plan!

This can't be happening...

“Gin–”

"Wear it, Luck."

"No! I know you're just mad. we can talk about it, Gin.”

"I said, wear the f*cking ring, Lucky!"

"But Genesis..."

"Listen to me, Luck." She shook her head. This is not correct. This was not er intention.

“Lucky…”

"Gin, please not this."

“Lucky!” Genesis shouted furiously.

Lucky shook her head repeatedly. This can not be. This was not her plan. she and Genesis got married wrongly because of her sin.

“Hey, Lucky… Miss Lucky…”

Lucky got up backwards. trembling hands she hugged the white blanket and searched the room for her friend but she did not find her.

A dream… A f*cking dream–damn it!

"You alright? I've been waking you up because you're having nightmares. You keep calling Genesis' name," Maya asked her worriedly.

“I–” No words came out of her mouth.

"You fell asleep while watching Genesis' interview earlier. Do you want water?”

Lucky nodded to the assistant. Maya immediately obeyed to pour water for her in the pitcher that was placed on top of the side table, when the assistant handed her the water, Lucky drank it in one gulp to relieve the dryness of her throat.

Her heart beat so fast, it felt like her heart was going to come out of her ribs. What kind of dream is that? It's just sh*t. she was so nervous, she thought it was true! just now Lucky realizes that a big deluge will really happen when Genesis finds out about what she did. she should really be careful…

"Are you okay? Your forehead is sweating, isn't it? What did you dream about? Is it so bad?” Maya asked her curiously.

"You said it. Worst nightmare ever…”

Maya grinned. "What is your nightmare about?"

"About–" The door to her room opened violently and Genesis rushed in. Lucky's eyes widened immediately. This is so familiar! No f*cking way…

"G-gin..." Lucky swallowed hard.

"I told you, didn't I?" Lucky's heart was like a bomb that was about to explode with nervousness. Genesis said the same thing in her dream! What the f*ck!?

"G-gin, I can explain."

Her friend stepped closer to her bed. Lucky opened her mouth to explain but she was surprised when Genesis suddenly hugged her. Oh–okay? What is happening? This was not what she expected. she thought that what happened in her nightmare was about to happen.

"I told you, didn't I? I said I would go with you for moral support, but you didn't tell me that your insemination was yesterday. You are extraordinary, I was just surprised when Maya announced that she had just finished injecting sperm. What race did you choose?” Genesis asked casually after breaking away from her hug.

Lucky was dumbfounded. she blinked several times, unable to believe Genesis' words. he asks what kind of sperm she chose for insemination, if so her friend doesn't know about the crime she committed?

Lucky breathed a sigh of relief. Oh, gosh! Thank you if that's the case.

“Russian…”

Genesis was surprised. “Russian? Like me?”

"Yes"

“Wow! I didn't know you were obsessed with Russian blood, that's why you tease me," Genesis joked, but she didn't laugh. Heist! If only you really knew Genesis...

"N-not at all," she replied awkwardly and avoided looking at the young man. Damn! because of that dream she only felt more guilty for what she did to Genesis.

"I brought some food, do you want me to serve you? I went to Chinatown to buy you your favorite porridge."

"A-alright."

"Okay, the food is in the kitchen, let me get you." she nodded at the man. he smiled at her when she turned to him before completely leaving the room.

"Are you okay?" Maya asked concerned as she let out a deep sigh.

"I don't know how long I can hide it, Maya. I felt so guilty for what I did to my friend. I acted selfishly, I didn't even understand the situation and I gave in to my desire to have children. I will hurt Gin..."

"What happened has already happened. There is nothing you can do, Dr. and I repeatedly asked. caladieae to you if you are sure and your answer is all 'yes', are you still going to regret now that it's over, it's already here, we're just waiting for the result. Also, we still don't know if your insemination was successful. You still need to take a pregnancy test after two or three weeks."

she let out another deep sigh.

"You're right, I got into this so I have to stand up no matter the consequences."

But will she be able to choose between Genesis and her future child when the day comes when she will be chosen by chance? she can't... she can't let go of both.

Genesis' mother preached as he sat in the visitors chair. he was now in his father's office, and he looked at him. his mother is here.

"Ma, those are just rumors to destroy my image. You know, I have many enemies inside and outside of our business."

His mother let out a sigh.

"Seriously, shark? When do you plan to get married? I'll just believe everything I hear is just gossip if you're married and have a family."

"Your mother is right, Genesis. You are getting old, you have to make sure that our family's legacy continues. Who will be with you when your mommy and I are gone? who will inherit the—"

"Dad, I'll settle down when the time comes."

"And when is that time? When you run out of sperm from your girls? You are extraordinary, Genesis! Why don't you just propose marriage to Lucky? you are totally the same," his father said harshly.

"What the f*ck dad? How dare you speak like that to Lucky. She's young and free."

"Whatever, son. You're really going to be best friends, you're both giving me and my partner a headache. even Fritz is already stressing your friend."

"Your dad has a point, Why aren't you and Lucky alone? Isn't there a song, 'I'm lucky, I'm in love with my best friend?'"

"Mom, shut it. Lucky and I are just friends and our label is no more than that."

his mother frowned. "Why? I like her. Is it because your friend dresses badly? But I think she has a beautiful round body."

"Ugh! I don't need to explain everything, ma. And can you please stop body shaming Lucky."

"Body shaming? Excuse me! I'm saying that your friend is sexy, what shame is there?" Genesis' mother shook her head.

He loosened his necktie with stress. Can't wait! This is what he really doesn't want every time he and his mother meet. Lucky is always discussed.

"What is the reason why you came Genesis?" different from his father.

He focused his attention on it.

"We have a problem with a cargo. Nathaniel said the coastguard stopped them," he told his father.

The gentleman's eyebrows crossed. "What cargo?"

"That cargo, dad."

"What? How did that happen? Did I think everything was fine?"

"Yes, the problem is... PCG Commander Dela Rosa's people intercepted our cargo. You know that person, cunning."

"Yeah, yeah... I understand. Tell Nathaniel to make a way right away, the contents of that cargo need to be here in Manila."

"Understood..."

Genesis watched as the father took tobacco from the cabinet of the office table and lit it. The old Gevorgian took a puff of smoking tobacco, and blew out a puff of smoke as he rose from the swivel chair.

"It won't be long... you will take care of all our business, Genesis. I expect you to continue the legacy of our family."

"I won't disappoint you, dad."

"I know. Please don't forget that apart from our family business, you have responsibility for the organization."

Genesis let out a big sigh. He knows that, and he never forgets his responsibility. He just needs a little more time, after he is sure that everything is fine he will focus on his responsibility.

"I didn't forget it, dad. Just give me more time..."

"Why are you still asking for time? You are at the right age Genesis. What's stopping you from doing your duty?"

"Just give me a little more time, I promise to do everything you want. Just be patient and wait."

"Does this have anything to do with Lucky?" his mother asked groggily.

Genesis did not speak.

"I see. So it's because of Fritz's daughter?" His father added.

"Come on, let's not talk about Lucky. She's doing good and at peace, don't empathize with my friend."

"Honey, when he was younger, your son confessed to me that he and Lucky kissed in high school—"

"Mom! Shut the f*ck up!"

"Oh, my? Why are you so angry all of a sudden? You were even so happy when you told me about it. I remember, you just got circumcised—"

"Mom! I said shut up!" Genesis shouted to his mother in stress. The f*ck? Why is his mother stubborn? He already said that they will beat his friend. Lucky's life is quiet for f*cking sake.
