Chapter 12

"Molly!" Nydia acted fast and immediately rushed to grab the girl who had been knocked down by the beautiful woman, holding her in her arms.

The beautiful woman was in a very sorry state on the ground, with a red mark on her face and a bloodstain that looked painful.

She covered her face and struggled to stand up, shouting at Nydia, "How dare you hit me? You're dead!"

"Everyone saw that she struck first. I was only acting in self-defense!" Nydia put her high heels back on, tidied up her messy hair and dress, and took the hands of the two children. "Let's go."

Tavish had a bewildered look on his face throughout, wondering if this was really the mommy he knew.

Molly, on the other hand, looked up to Nydia in admiration.

"Don't leave, stop!" The beautiful woman seemed unwilling to give up and was still being aggressive.

But someone nearby stopped her. "Mrs. Wollridge, forget it. Do you want to make enemies with the Pascalls?"

"What, what do you mean?"

"Don't you know that's Jesse's wife and kids?"

The beautiful woman's face suddenly changed, looking at the person who was advising her in shock. "What? Jesse?"

"Yes, that's Jesse's wife and kids, from the Pascall family. I thought you knew."

Her legs weakened, and she almost fell. "Which Jesse?" She still wanted to resist.

"Which Jesse? The one from the Pascall family, the one who was injured in a car accident before."

"You should go to the hospital first. You're all injured."

"It's not our fault, right? Isn't it his son who hit first? You have to testify for us." She panicked and grabbed the people around her.

But the people around her walked away. They were happy to watch the commotion but didn't want to get involved.

They can't offend anyone, especially not Jesse. Isn't that just asking for trouble?

The beautiful woman was in a mess, not knowing what to do.

"Mom, aren't you going to help me get revenge? You're just going to let them go?" The boy was very unhappy.

"Why did you get into a fight with them?"

"Because everyone else was playing with them, and no one was playing with me, so I went to curse at him. His dad is gimpy!"

The beautiful woman immediately covered his mouth. "Shh, shut up."

"What's wrong? What's wrong with a gimpy..." His mouth was firmly covered again.

"Shut up!"

At the moment, she was desperately trying to calm herself down and didn't dare to call her husband because she knew that he was currently trying various ways to work with Jesse. If Jesse didn't mind this incident, she could keep quiet for now. What if it didn't affect her husband?

Nydia left with her two children and met Jesse who came rushing over.

"Daddy!" Molly let go of Nydia's hand and ran to Jesse. "Daddy, brother and mommy had a fight just now, and mommy was so powerful."

"Brother and mommy had a fight?" Jesse noticed that Nydia's hair was a bit messy and there were a few red scratches on her arms.

When he saw the red marks, his eyes narrowed slightly.

"No, it was a fight with someone else," Tavish explained and then let go of Nydia's hand.

Nydia was disappointed, but it didn't matter. She would slowly repair her relationship with the children.

"For what reason?" Jesse asked, his tone becoming even colder.

Molly was about to answer, but Nydia answered first.

"It was just a fight between children. Then a parent had to get involved, and I had exchange with her."

She didn't want Jesse to hear someone call him "gimpy" or something like that.

The two children looked at her and didn't say anything else. They didn't like to mention those names like "gimpy" again.

"I'll leave the children to you first. I have to go to the bathroom to tidy up." She turned and walked away.

Jesse looked at her back, lost in thought, and then asked his assistant to find out what had happened.

"Daddy, daddy, you have to avenge mommy," Molly pulled Jesse's sleeve and said, "that bad person grabbed mommy's hair, and a lot of mommy's hair was pulled out. It hurts so much."

Tavish spoke up.

"This is my fault, and I will avenge her." He didn't want to owe her a favor!

Jesse raised his hand and touched Tavish's head. He knew his own son the best. He clearly wanted his mother's love the most but stubbornly pushed her away.

Nydia went to the bathroom and saw herself in the mirror. She felt embarrassed. Her hair was too messy. She had faced the crowd with such messy hair just now? She even appeared in front of Jesse like this. It was embarrassing! She tidied herself up.

After tidying up, she walked out of the bathroom and thought she should go and check on Willette. She coincidentally ran into Barclay, who was looking for Willette.

Looking at this person, Nydia finally had a feeling of being worlds apart. She regarded him as her brother, but he wanted her to be a fish in the pond. How ridiculous!

"Nydia, have you seen Willette? I can't find her," Barclay seemed anxious. "No one answers the phone either."

Willette purposely put her phone on silent, using it as an excuse to avoid Nydia, but it ended up causing trouble for herself.

"Isn't sister here? I haven't seen her. Let's look for her together," Nydia and Barclay searched for Willette, leading Barclay to where Willette might be.

To be honest, Nydia didn't know where Willette was, probably somewhere secluded with few people.

"There aren't many people here, Willette probably isn't here, right?" Barclay was skeptical.

"Haven't you already searched where there are people?"

This rhetorical question left Barclay unable to retort.

"I'll go check over there," Nydia walked alone around a corner.

She soon covered her mouth and ran out.

"Barclay, let's look somewhere else. There's no one here," she said, but her facial expression clearly didn't match her words.

"What's wrong? Is there someone over there?" Barclay said as he walked towards the direction.

"No one, no one!" Nydia blocked him.

This made Barclay very curious.

"Nydia, if no one's here, why are you so nervous?" He felt that something was off.

"I'm not nervous, let's just look somewhere else. There really is no one here."

The more she said this, the more suspicious Barclay became. He pushed Nydia aside and walked towards the scene in front of him.

The scene in front of Barclay froze him in place. Willette was actually kissing a man with her eyes closed, her hands wrapped around his neck, and her body slightly leaning back, seeming to be enjoying it. The kiss seemed passionate, and there was even some sound.

Just then, Nydia suddenly shouted, "Sis? Sis!"
