Chapter 16 Pampered

Kara just get down from the taxi when 2 men in black approach her.

She got really scared when that happened but when they say that they are Xian's bodyguard she relax a bit.

It is not normal for a teacher to have bodyguards like this and  live in an expensive condo building like this. But Kara cannot say that in front of Xian.

He is not stupid.

If Xian felt she is a spy she will surely die painfully.

She just close her eyes and pretend she has no idea how rich Xian is.

The guards make her ride  different elevator.

Then they pressed 21.

She close her eyes tightly.

She just remembered that King's men are following her.

Damn.

Good thing King promise her that he wont kill her or she will tremble violently right now.

The security tighten when they approach the 21st floor.

Alot of men in black are loutering around.

Vigilant and not lazying.

She pretends she is scared.

"I-I dont want to go...There are so many men who doesnt look very kind to my opinion! Are you really men under my teacher?"

If she doesnt do this kind of pathetic act, she is the one who will look suspicious.

"Follow us!" The guy sternly said and grab Kara's hand.

"Urgh." Kara struggles but she just got herself a bruise.

She gave in and follow them while trembling.

The girl head is lowered so the men thought she is trembling in fear but the truth is she is trembling in anger.

Knock. Knock.

"Boss, we got the girl."

"Come in."

Xian is wearing a white and red suit. Making his baby face even more younger.

His face lit up when he saw Kara only to be shocked when he saw the teary eyed and scared girl.

"Let her go! Didnt I say you should escort her? You disrespectful fools!" Angry.

Xian forgot he ordered the men to get a little rough with her.

He forgot he is angry and carefully hold her hand coaxing her.

"Come on. You are a big girl now, dont cry for something as small as this." Xian said rubbing her bruised hand.

Kara frowns when Xian rubs her bruised hand.

Xian panics and call Oliver.

"Sir, what do you need me for?" Oliver ask.

"Send a doctor! Hurry."

"Sir, this is nothing. If you have an ointment..."

"No!" Xian looks at Kara's eyes.

Kara is so lazy and stare back.

Xian is the one who first breaks the eye contact.

"Oliver, bring me an ointment."

Oliver lips twitch then he tacitly left.

They are sitting on the comfy sofa.

Xian is patiently rubbing the ointment to her hand.

"Who is the guy earlier?" Xian ask as if its nothing.

"He asked me to be his date. I just give him a favor.AW!"

Xian pressed hard.

He looks at Kara with a glare.

"You think I am joking with you?"his deep angry voice is very sexy...yet very scary.

"What? I am serious."

"Why do you have to be someone's date? Does your mother know this? Do you know what time is it? Do you have any idea what kind of restaurant did you just dined in?" He pressed Kara in the sofa,pushing her while her two shoulder is being crushed by Xian's powerful pressure.

Kara looks at Xian.

"Are you jealous?" She wants to laugh at how silly that sounds.

Xian pauses and stare at Kara.

"Cause you sounds like a jealous boyfriend!" Kara tried tearing Xian's grip but to no avail.

Kara stares at the Male God on top of her.

"Sir, it hurts." She sigh.

Xian move and remove his grip on her.

Kara sit down properly.

"Sir.. I am very sleepy."

"I will drive you home." Xian sigh and fix her clothes that get out of place.

"You can ask your guard to call a cab for me."

"No! And what excuse will you tell your mother? Do you know what time it is? 11 in the evening!"

"You...will help me?"

"Sure. But you have to spend more time with me."

"What?"

"Deal?"

Kara looks at Xian.

She knows Xian is crazy.

But why is he flirting with an underage girl?

His preference is widely known, mature woman who looks as slutty as she can.

Kara is so lazy to think logically.

Xian is not someone who can be considered logical.

Kara yawns and rub her eyes.

"Dont rub your eyes." Xian lightly take Kara's hand and put it down.

Kara looks at Xian.

'Here it goes. Let's test him out.'

Kara yawns again and lean in front.

She lay her head on Xian's stiff shoulder and waited to be push away.

But Xian become frozen stiff.

Kara frowns.

Her position is a bit hurting her back.

She wants to readjust her position but Xian pushes her away.

'Finally.'

Xian face is dark.

'Did I go too far?'

Kara felt really scared.

But Xian says nothing.

He escorts her home.

Said few things to her mother and leaves.

"Your teacher is so handsome!" Katherine exclaim when Xian left.

Kara's eyes widen.

Xian?

That is Xian?

He just let her go after laying her head on his shoulder?

"Mother, that man is a devil."

"Devillishly handsome!" Katherine laughs.

"Ha.ha."

"Your teacher explains to me what happened but next time you text me if you will be late. You have your phone yet I cant contact you."

"Sorry."

"You must be tired. Get some rest."

"Good night mom."

Kara sigh.

She just get out of the shower.

Freshen herself and change to her nightwear.

Happily cuddling her pillow.

Home still the best and safest place on Earth.

Ring...

Kara's eyes narrowed.

Her phone never gives her good news and all bad news lately.

Thinking it might be the bossy Xian, Kara reach the phone near the lampshade.

The number is not registered.

Kara's eyes knitted.

But curiousity wins over.

She heard from her classmates that Textmating is pretty popular nowadays.

What if she safely find herself a boyfriend in text?

"Hello?"

"Why are you with Xian?" There is an angry and husky voice on tbe other side.

Kara felt a cold water is poured to her.

"W-who?"

Ofcourse it is King.

But she just met him, she should not be familiar with his voice yet.

"This is Bishop Romero!"

"Hey why are you shouting?"

"Are you a spy afterall?"

"Urgh. What spy? And who is Xian?"

Kara is trembling but she sounds so relax.

Good thing they are just talking over the phone.

"The guy who drive you home!"

"That is my teacher."

"What?"

"Sir Bishop, that is my advisor I am talking about. His name is Leonard Flavio."

"Ill call you back."

The phone ended like that.

Kara is angry and she remove the battery of her phone and lie down on her bed.

Who wants to receive the call of Xian or King?

They are two unreasonable people!

Knock knock

"Kara, are you still awake?"

"Yes. What is wrong Mom?"

Katherine lightly opened the door of her room but didnt enter.

"Your Uncle Richard and Uncle Ethan wants to spend time with you tomorrow. I am going to a conference meeting so i cant come with you...Is it okay if you sleep in Richard's house?"

".....It is fine." Kara wants to sigh. Her indifferent attitude toward Richard sends wrong signal to the older guys.

They think Kara is just forcing herself to like Richard.

Richard too is very anxious and want to get closer to Kara.

He is very generous with gifts but mostly of the expensive stuffs are returned making him feel dejected.

Kara really likes Richard but to act as a daughter is out of the question.

In both lives, she still havent experience something like A Father's love.

Katherine face lit up.

"Kara is so kind and lovely."

"Yes. Yes. Good night Mom." Kara awkwardly smile.
