Chapter 15 Two Timing Is Hard When You Are not really in a Relationship

"It is annoying. If you wont answer, turn it off."King frowns.

He actually see the Caller Id.

It is a guy.

He doesnt know if he is really her teacher,rather, he believes he is not.

Teachers are very busy people.

When does they find time to call someone whose phone is turn off until it turn on?

"I will put it in silent mode then." Kara sweats.

If she turns it off, Xian will kill her.

But she have to find a chance to answer.

Xian is not some middle boss, he is an ultimate last boss.

King is observing Kara's reaction.

Her anxious look at the phone every now and then pisses him off.

He grabs the phone.

Kara felt her heart stops pumping.

King?

Will he answer the call?

If he answers and he hears Xian voice, will he misunderstand and thinks that she is really a spy?

King pressed the turn off button hard and there is a turn off ringtone follows.

Dumbstrucked.

Kara just stare at the turn off phone.

She is dead!

Xian frowns when the call still didnt connect and it died again.

He rose from his chair.

Angrily biting the edge of his phone while glaring at the city lights outside his room.

"Did you call, Boss?" A black suited man walks in after knocking.

"Find out where Katirina Mendoza right now and why is she not answering my call!"

Xian never has a time where he has to wait for someone.

But he patiently called time and time again to ensure he wont miss the moment her phone activate.

But she dares turn it off?

Oliver stare at the angry Xian.

"Do you want to capture her?" He asked.

Xian heart skip a bit.

But he wondered why he become displeased with Oliver suddenly.

"Leave!" He just wave his hand to show his irritation.

Oliver nods and leave but he looks back at the closed door.

His face shows confusion.

The guard went to his side.

"What is wrong Sir Oliver?"

"He is acting like a jealous boyfriend."

"Maybe Boss finally find his eve."

"Dont joke. That girl is only 12."

"12 years old?" The guard shakes his head. "Impossible, Boss likes mature woman. Sir Oliver is just confuse."

"Hah..." Oliver just shrugged it and left.

Xian is still fuming mad.

He will make that girl suffer.

No one embarassed him like this before.

"What? I told you to turn it off or you just cant answer your boyfriend's call in front of me?" King arch a brow.

Kara shudders.

Before she deals with Xian, she have to survive King!

"Um...He is my teacher."

The food arrives and the ladies place one food at a time until the wide table seems so small with all the food packed together.

King watches Kara wipes her drool.

He is inwardly pleased.

"Let's eat."

"Yeah." Kara energetically answered.

They are eating happily.

Ring..

King looks at his phone.

The caller ID is BIG BOSS.

"Sorry, I have to answer this." King stands up and about to leave when he heard a ringtone of phone activating.

He looks back and see Kara hurriedly turn on her phone.

The two look at each other.

"I thought you said that guy is your teacher." King said supressing his anger.

"Y-yeah. It is not good to make hi--how do you know its a 'he'?"

"Turn it off!"

"Y-you are going to received a call too so why cant I?"

"TURN IT OFF OR ILL DESTROY IT."

"......"

King went back to his seat.

Kara looks at him dumbfoundedly.

She sigh and turn the cellphone off.

King is pleased with her compliance but his face is still angry.

"Arent you picking up?" Kara ask.

She didnt know who is calling but the excited face of King says it all.

This is the first time King didnt answer Gabriel's call as soon as the phone rang.

"I will just text him. Eat."

So they eat a very satisfying meal while under the pressure of death.

"I will bring you home." King said but Kara object.

"I dont want you to know where I live!" She said.

King thinks it is logical to think this way but he already know where she lives.

That, Kara knows nothing can be hidden if King wants to know where she lives but what she wants is to be able to call Xian as soon as possible.

That ticking time bomb should also be appeased!

"Okay. But I will make my men accompany you."

The fuck.

Kara looks at King seriously.

This is the first legitimate eye to eye contact.

King eyes widen.

That bluish eyes is really beautiful like someone he respects so much.

"My mother will have a heart attack when she see me riding with men in black suits!"

"Fine! They will follow you in a different car, is that enough?"

"Why? I promise I wont talk. Do you really not trust me?"

"I just want to make sure my date will get home safely."

"Yeah, fuck me!"

"Do you hate me that much?" King eyes arch.

"I dont even know your name." Kara pouts.

King eyes widen again.

It is as if he finally realize something important.

"I see. I havent introduce myself yet. My name is Bishop Romero."

"Bishop?"

Good think I didnt call him King!

So his alias name is a lower rank from King, it is bishop!

Are you fucking playing chess?!

Kara supress her anger and smile.

"I like that name. It is very unique. I like playing chess too. My favorite piece is 'King'."

King blinks they he shy away and avoid eye contact.

He smiles softly.

"I also like chess. My favorite piece is...queen."

Kara pouts.

Pretentious bastard.

Anyways, she needs to go.

"Bye Sir Bishop."

"Bye Katirina."

Kara glares at King.

"I dont like my name so much so please refrain from calling my whole name."

"What should I call you then?"

"Anything that is not my name. You can call me Kara too. That is my pet name."

"Then... I will call you my date."

"Huh?"

"My date, is like an alias."

"....Do what you want." Its not like will see each other again.

Given permission, King smiles widely but Kara already turn around so she missed it.

When Kara is securely inside the taxi then she sigh so heavily.

"That's an epic sigh young miss." The driver laughs and continue driving.

Kara ignores him and open her phone.

Kara almost want to burst laughing.

The moment it activate, Xian is still reaching her out.

Is this guy this free?

"Hello."

"Who is it? You are with some guy? Where Are you?I am going to get you home!" There is an urgency in Xian's panic voice.

"How did you know I am with someone?"

Kara's heart panics.

"My me---One of your classmate send me a picture. You are with some older guys! Are you that ignorant or you are just that flirty!"

"I will end the call now." Kara angrily said.

"Wait! Wait. Where are you?"

"I am on my way home."

"Come to my condo unit! This is my address."

"What? Why? I dont want to. My mom must be anxious..."

"Now you think she is anxious? You come here or else!"

Kara feels like cold water is poured to her.

That 'or else' from Xian is very scary.

"Kara! Are you listening?!"

"I will just go there. How hard is that? But I need to get home after you said your piece."

"Fine!" Xian is very angry with lack of response from Kara.

Kara sigh and ask the driver to send her to Xian's condo unit.

That guy lives in a very expensive and one of the most well secured condo building.

Is he afraid he cant spend his money all his life?

"Boss, the taxi direction changes. It seems they wont go straight to the girl's house."

King broke a wine glass after hearing that.

"So that is why she is so anxious about me giving her a ride. Follow her! And investigate whom she's seeing."

King shouted.

He pants as he remembered the guy who keeps on calling her.

He kicks the very near thing in front of him.

King is very mad but he is not very clear why.

He just knew that he is very angry at Kara.
