Chapter 9

Natalia's pov

After a while it dawned on me that I have been busy watching plates,I couldn't concentrate on the plate well because I was thinking....I checked the time and I discovered there is no more time on my side..

I am the only one at home and I had concluded earlier that I am not going to school, not in my present position,there is no way I will be able to walk well to school.

I could not still stop crying,tears were just flowing out of my eyes like a rushing tap.

I shook my hand softly and left the kitchen to do some other work.

I felt guilty for being raped, maybe if I had not come to this meaningless world I would not have been raped by my so-called father.

I sighed as I saw the hefty clothes in front of me.My heart splited into two immediately I saw the clothes. I know most of the clothes are not dirty but they just pack them to wash purposely.

Oh God! Why is my life like this?I felt like going somewhere far away.

"But if I should run away,where will I go....I don't know any of our family,I don't know anyone except my dad,my mum and sister" .

I felt a heavy lump in my throat, unable to gulp it down as I checked the time again and it was almost time for me to be on my way to carry the cup cakes.

I guess I have already spent all my time thinking,but how come? Why is the time so fast?.

tears flowed out of my eyes again as I stared at the clothes and immediately an idea popped into my head.

Oh God! I hated my life and it made me so scared.

Ryan's pov

I got down from the plane with my guard.I really like him. He is my personal guard, the one I trusted most, so that is the reason why I chose him to go with me.

He carried my small box and his own and followed me behind.

I had arranged a car already before leaving the house,I saw the car and I recognized it.....I walked towards the car with my headphones plugged in my ear.

We entered the car and immediately the driver drove off.

Adrian's pov

I could not believe what happened earlier.

Why will that lunatic girl think I will agree with her?

Over my dead body will I have anything to do with that psycho.

I really hate her now.

I checked my lunch box and stared at the chocolate inside and tears threatened out of my eyes.

I don't know the reason why,but I am really worried about her.

I felt it,I am feeling she is not okay wherever she is and am really concerned about her.

I can't even think straight because of her.

I could not even concentrate on the teaching in the class because of her.

I felt my heart beating rapidly and I did not know when I stood up in the class.

I left the class and I sat in the garden.I felt like holding her.

After school hours.

I waited patiently for Eva to come out of her class.

I recognized her car and I know her driver is already waiting for her.

When I noticed she had entered her car,I quickly came out of my hideout and entered my car also.

"Please help me to trail that car without any suspicion" I said and pointed at the car in order for my driver to know.

"Ok sir" he said.

We drove for a long while before she finally stopped at the front of a big and beautiful building.

But our own is more beautiful than her own house.

I checked it well and discovered it is not anywhere comparable to ours,so this is what she is bragging about.

"Why is Natalia a maid in their house in the first place?I have many questions to ask her the next time we see,"I thought and sighed.

"Hope there is no problem boss this one that your face is like this" my driver asked me.

" There is no problem," I answered.

I watched as she drove inside the compound,as she drove in I did not hesitate before coming out of the car.

I got down from the car and walked towards the house.

"Should I really do this?" I said to myself.

I knocked on the door and the gatekeeper opened immediately.

"Who are you?" he asked.

"Please look for Natalia,does she stay here??".

"Aaaah small madam just went out and please go before they catch you".

I was shocked immediately when I heard him.

"Small madam??" I asked her.

"Yes....is there any problem with that?" he asked.

"Nothing" I said.

And before I knew it he locked the gate.

I still have many questions to ask him but I could not know that he had locked the door.

I was speechless and confused immediately.

Adrian's pov

I stood like a statue for a while before I finally left the place.

I got home and I discovered mum was at home already.

She does not look happy,I don't know what normally bothers her.....I could see it in her face that she is hiding something from me.

"My baby,you are back" she said and faked a smile.

"Mum, why is your face like this,you don't look happy" I asked her.

"Don't worry i'm fine now,go and dress up let me take you out" she said.

I ran upstairs immediately and changed.

Maybe it will still make me forget my worries till tomorrow.

Natalia's pov

I left the house after I used the washing machine to wash the clothes.I made sure there was no suspicion.

If I had not used it, maybe I would still be washing everything by now, and I would not be able to finish washing it.

Am on my way now to carry the cupcakes and the sun is very hot.

With the way I was walking,I noticed some people were staring at me.......I could not walk properly because of the pain I felt under. Who knows if he even stopped when I had passed out?.

My head aches as I was walking under the sun.I know my sister will be back from school now and she will be under the air conditioner.

Mum started maltreating since when I was young,she does not send my sister on an errand at all,the only thing she will say is " you are older,you will be the one to do it" I thought it was normal but not until now that is worse.

I sighted her at the front of her shop as we were approaching and immediately my heart started beating rapidly.

"Calm down Natalia! Now breath" I said to myself.

My body is already shaking -- which was actually because of fear.

"What am I going to do now?" I panicked.

I hate it when I see her in the shop,she always finds silly excuses to beat me.

Immediately she saw me coming and she smiled to herself.

And I walked towards her.

but this time around, she started smiling more.

"If you are wondering why am smiling,am smiling because of your wretchedness, stupidity and foolishness"

"Gosh.why is she saying all this now" I thought.

Her eyes dimmed and she suddenly burst into hysterical laughter.

"Oh my Natalia!" She laughed harder and held her stomach.

I looked at her in disbelief, wondering why she was suddenly laughing when there's no serious issue at hand.

And what exactly is funny?

And this time around she now looks at me from head to toe.

"You want to know why I am laughing huh,you look like a mad woman" she said.

"You did not have a mirror in your room huh and why are you walking like someone who they just finished sleeping with??" She asked and slapped me.

"I don't understand you mum." I spoke out and held my cheeks , with me staring confusingly at her.

"So you have the audacity to be asking me that you don't understand, when you were coming to my shop you did not even comb your stinking hair,you are looking like a mad man, walking like an imbecile so that people will be pointing fingers at me huh?? She asked.

I creased my eyebrows in confusion and stared intently at her.

"I knew it,I said that she will still have one silly excuse to raise her hand at me".

"And before I forget,why did you not go to school today??" She asked.

But instead I kept quiet.

"You can't talk huh".

I nodded my head, not knowing exactly what to say.

"Well, maybe you did not know the huge amount I am paying for your school fees when you will go to school,I think it is high time I stopped paying your school fees because I don't even know why I will be sending mad women like you to school" she said and hissed.

And before I knew tears threatened out of my eyes.

"It was when she checked her time that she discovered she had been talking since" I could see it in her eyes.

"Before you start Hawking I have a job for you and that does not mean you should come home without finishing Hawking the cup cakes if not........let me just keep quiet" she said.

"You know that my friend's house that you Normally go to help her,help me to give her this money" she said she handed the money to me.

"Make sure you deliver it to her, and nothing must happen to the money"she said and drew my ear.

And I quickly ran out of her presence.

Ryan's pov

I got down tiredly from the car and I approached the beautiful house in front of me.

You must be wondering how I got a house,I arranged everything overnight,there is nothing money can not do.....I did everything online.

And we entered the house fully.

"My prince, if you need anything you can tell me," Scott said.

That is his name,the name of my guard.

"I don't need anything for now,you can go," I said.

That is your room in that place I said and pointed at a room.

He dropped my bag and left.

I sighed and laid on the bed immediately after he left.

And immediately my phone started ringing,I checked the caller and discovered it was Sophia.

I turned sharply to stare at the phone well,this girl can be so troublesome huh.

I picked the call and immediately I started hearing her tiny voice.

She did not even allow me to reach here before she started calling me.

"Hello bro,how are you now?? Hope you are okay? Are you there already?" She asked at a time.

"Sophia,how many questions did you want me to answer at a time?" I asked.

"Well,you can answer anyhow you like," she said.

"Ok, okay,I'm there,"I said.

"Alright bro, I will get back to you . I have something to take care of," she said and ended the call.

I know this is how she will be calling me now,she will not allow me to rest.

"What is the meaning that she calls me now? This girl is so crazy,"I thought and smiled.

And before I knew it I drifted to dream land.

Natalia's pov

I became tired because the place is very far.

I tried my best to run but I still could not reach there on time.....

And I was sweating under the sun,it was like I should reach the woman's house already.

I know my mum can go with her car but she sends me purposely.

As I was walking,I did not know how someone grabbed the money from my hand and ran.

"Thief!!! Thief!!! Thief" I shouted and ran after him.

But I don't know where he passed,I missed him.
