chapter 7

Third Person's POV

Nate just stared at the gentle face of his sleeping wife. It's like an angel in her eyes, especially when she smiles. It was on his chest, and he hugged her tightly like he always does every night, as if he were afraid that at any moment he would disappear. They had just finished doing a couple things.

His wife is undeniably beautiful. Include the beautiful shape of her body; no matter what clothes she wears, it suits her and makes her body curve appear even more.

It has naturally red cheeks and lips that are soft to kiss. And his eyes are something he loves to look at because he remembers someone there.

He has also gotten used to always seeing this scene every night when he lies down next to his wife, who snuggles up to his side and hugs her tightly. It always turns him on.

And in the morning, when he wakes up, her wife's gentle face is the first thing he sees. And the food that will be prepared and the proper tying of his tie that he still can't get

"Babe...." His wife called softly. So he immediately panicked that he might catch her staring at him.

"Hmm."    He answered.    He is not sure if she is awake because his eyes are still closed.

"I love you." He took a deep breath. If only it were that easy for her to say. That phrase he made a long time ago

It's not hard to love a wife, especially since she already has all the qualities one looks for in a wife.

But the only problem is that his heart has been broken for a long time. He gave it to the only woman he loved a long time ago. The girl he has been waiting for to return

So he doesn't want to tie the knot with any woman, but things have gotten so bad that he didn't even notice it. He never planned it this way. He doesn't want to hurt women.

He doesn't want Ellesa to depend on him. Especially since he knows how much he loves her. What if the girl he's been waiting for a long time comes back? What will happen to Ellesa? Is he going to leave her?

He does not know the answer to that question. Will the girl he loves come back?

'I'll be back. Do not worry.' That was the last word left by the girl he loved before she left. He didn't even know which part of the world he went to.

But he waited for it. That's how expensive it is. That's why he was so angry when he married Ellesa; he avoided this woman for a long time, but here he is, still very close.

But when he met and spent time with Ellesa, it seemed that she gradually became special to him.

******

"Elle, are you done? We're late already." Nate shouted from the living room; he was sitting on the couch while waiting for his wife, who was getting dressed in their room.

Today is the anniversary of the company. And they're late; the party starts at 8 p.m., but it's 8:15 and they're still here.

"Just wait, I'm almost there." Ellesa shouted back.

Nate stood up from his seat and headed for the room.

He was about to turn the door knob when it opened, and he saw his wife's smiling face.

She was wearing a tight, tube-like black pencil-cut dress that almost hugged every curve of her body and showed her cleavage. The whiteness of the wife appeared more because of the color of her clothes.

He was stunned for a while and seemed like he didn't want to leave; he just wanted to lock himself in the room with his wife.

"Are you ok?" Her wife asked. Which brought back his trance. He blinked and looked away.

"A-ah. Y-yeah." It still stuttered. He cleared his throat. "Can you change that dress of yours?" He asked out of nowhere.

"Huh? Why is it ugly? Doesn't it suit me?" Ellesa asked nervously as she looked at herself.

He wants to say that the outfit is too revealing. But he just didn't say it. He can't do it. I don't know why.

"No."     That's all he said.

"Let's go?"     Ellesa smiled, then nodded.

She wanted to dance, especially since her husband did not follow her request to change her clothes.

Especially since almost every man they pass is glancing at his wife from time to time. They are already at the venue where the anniversary was held.

He wants to snatch its eyes and stomp on them until they are finely crushed. He doesn't want anyone else to look at her, especially when she is wearing that.

"Oh, why are you frowning there?" Ellesa asked. With a frown.

"Because you didn't change your dress." He suddenly said that he was not thinking. That's all that suddenly came out of his mouth. Elle frowned even more.

When he realized what he was saying, he immediately looked away and was thinking about what to sneak.

Elle's facial expression suddenly changed, and she smiled sweetly at him. She even giggled.

"If you had said that you didn't want anyone else to see what I was wearing because you were jealous, I would have just worn a long sleeve." She said it mockingly. "You're still ashamed of me being your wife." He laughed even more. The wife's cheeks are still red.

"Hey, I didn't---"

"Mr. Craig. Why did you come late?" Elle's father asked.

"Hi Dad. Good evening. Congratulations, by the way." Elle greeted and kissed her father's cheek.

"Good day, sir. We apologize for coming late because of a little problem we encountered while we were heading there. But we already fixed it." His formal answer to her wife's father Although the truth is that it took a while for Elle to finish getting dressed,

"Okay then."     That's the answer.

"Dad, is my sister here?" Elle asked happily.

"Yeah, a while ago."

Elle nodded.     And thanked.     The father left after they talked about business.

"Let's go to find my sister. I'll introduce you to her." Elle said excitedly. And pulled him. "That's sister. Let's go." He just didn't pay attention to his wife because his eyes were evil, looking at the men who were staring at her. It looks like the husband doesn't pay attention to it because it's like nothing.

"Big sis. Hey, how are you? I miss you so much." He could feel the satisfaction in his wife's voice.

"Li'l sis. I miss you too. I'm glad to see you again." That voice seemed familiar to him, so he looked at it, but it was covered by his wife because the two were still hugging.

"By the way, big sis. This is my husband, Nathan Craig. Babe, my big sister, Kelly Gibb Grosvenor,"

His world stopped when he saw the woman's face, and his heart skipped a beat. Their eyes met, and he felt the longing inside his chest again. He can't believe what he's seeing right now. Is this true?

The girl he waited for how many years was now standing in front of him. His beautiful one

The girl he only loves

"Mhie," he whispered softly.
