Dimitri was beaten until she passed out. Nica and the other girls then took her to the nearby clinic.
Klaus didn't care, even though he knew this might cause a stir, especially with Simon.
Dimitri was Simon's cousin!
The moment he saw the bruises on Morticia, her face wet with tears and her blouse soaked in apple juice, he wanted to end whoever did it.
The picture of her pitiful state popped up on the school blog, and immediately, a comment from Vincent's account appeared.
~Delete this, or I'll fucking hunt you.~
Almost immediately, the post was deleted. Klaus gritted his teeth, frustrated that he hadn't gotten the name of the blogger before it vanished. He'd ask Vincent when he saw him.
"Ahhh," Morticia winced at the sting on her knee as Klaus helped her treat it.
"I didn't even put much. Stop being dramatic," he said, his voice cold, still showing his anger.
Morticia took a moment and stared at his serious face, watching him as he brought out the bandage to dress her wound. Every single detail of his features was perfect, making her heart flutter. The urge to touch and feel his face surged through her-though she found it strange.
*Remember, you said you were ending those feelings in you. Stop staring at him, Morticia,* her subconscious reminded her.
Just a little longer. She wanted to stare at him for a little longer.
His gaze suddenly met hers, and she quickly looked away, scolding herself inwardly.
"All done," he mumbled, and she looked down at her knee, surprised he had already finished.
"How long has this been going on?" he asked, his gaze piercing.
"What do you mean?"
"How long has she been bullying you? This isn't the first time, I'm sure of it."
Morticia bit her tongue nervously.
"Answer me, Bunnie."
"High school," she whispered, averting her gaze to the floor.
"High school? Was it because of me?"
"Can we not talk about this? I have a class to catch," Morticia changed the topic, praying silently that Klaus wouldn't press further.
He stood and offered her his hand. "Let's get you a new set of clothes first."
Morticia sighed and took his hand.
"Wait, wear this," he said, removing his jacket and offering it to her. Only then did Morticia notice the large word written on the back of the jacket.
SIN.
"T... there's no need for that," she shook her head.
"Students are everywhere. Wear it before I change my mind."
What's with the cold tone? Seriously. Sighing, she took the jacket and put it on. His familiar sweet cologne hit her nose, and she inhaled more of it. She missed it.
*'Morticia, remember what you promised yourself,'* her subconscious reminded her again, and she immediately composed herself.
Klaus glanced at his phone, seeing a message from Simon, summoning him. He ignored the message and pocketed his phone.
*Is that Sin? Gosh, he's hot!...*
*I heard he's the son of Mr. Barnard, one of the richest men in New York...*
*He gets every girl he wants. I wish I could be next...*
*I badly want him to look my way. Fuck...*
Morticia played with the hem of her shirt as she overheard the distant chatter of the girls while Klaus discussed something with the man at the counter.
*Who's that girl with him though? A newbie? I've never seen her before...*
*What's her relationship with Klaus? His new bitch?...*
*No way. Klaus wouldn't go for a girl like her. She looks like a nerd, haha...*
Morticia rolled her eyes. Screw them, she didn't want Klaus either! She puffed her cheeks.
After changing her clothes, Klaus wanted to escort her, but she stopped him.
"It seems you're quite popular here, and I want a quiet life. Thank you for saving me back there. I'll take it from here."
"If they know you're close to me, they won't hurt you," he said.
"No... you can't be around me all the time. I don't want to make enemies..."
"Fine," he cut in. "Fine, I'm off." He turned and left while she headed back to class.
The lecture had already started by the time she got there. She awkwardly stepped in and bowed to the lecturer, who simply continued teaching.
Jamie waved at her from the second row, gesturing for her to sit beside him. He moved his bag, and she thanked him for keeping the seat.
"You alright?" he asked worriedly, and she nodded. He slid his notes to her. "Here, we haven't gone far."
"Thanks, Jamie."
They smiled at each other.

"I'm sorry, okay? You know what Sin would have done to me if I hadn't hit you," Nica said to Dimitri, who lay on her bed, soft sobs escaping her.
"Get out. All of you," Dimitri croaked, having woken up a few minutes ago. Her body ached, bruises covering her skin.
"I'm sorry, babe," Nica sighed and left the room. Simon walked in almost immediately.
"I said no one should come in. I want to be alone," Dimitri croaked, her voice trembling with emotion. She still found it hard to believe that Klaus had actually ordered them to hit her. She was his favorite, and they had slept together many times.
She was in love with him, yet he hadn't batted an eye when he ordered Nica and the other girls to beat her up-all because of that little ugly nerd.
"Did Sin really do that to you?" Simon asked.
"Yes. All because of Morticia Addams. Vincent's little sister. He hurt me, Simon. He fucking hurt me."
"I'll go talk to him," he said and left the room. "Where's Sin?" he asked one of his men.
"What?" Klaus answered from the couch. Vincent sat beside him, and neither of their gazes was friendly.
"You hurt my cousin."
"She hurt my sister," Vincent replied instead. "If I had been the one to find out, I wouldn't have ordered the girls to beat her up. I would've done it myself." Vincent stood to leave. He had only come here to warn Simon.
"But still... You could have told me first, Sin."
"This was her first and last warning. Dimitri should stay away from Bunnie, or I'll deal with her myself next time," Klaus said.
"Are you doing this because I didn't let you quit? Huh?"
"Are you done? I've got some things to take care of," Klaus raised a brow. When Simon didn't reply, Klaus stood. "Goodbye, Simon," he said and left.
"Your dogs are growing canines, Simon. Soon enough, they'll bite you," one of his tattooed partners, who had been sitting quietly and watching, commented.

"So what's his name?" Rhea asked over the video call.
"Jamie, he was really nice," Morticia replied. She told her about Jamie, leaving out the terrible experience from her first day in college.
Dimitri got what she deserved anyway.
"So, do you like him?"
"As a friend, yeah."
"Hmm?" Rhea raised a brow.
"Stop, Rhea. He's not like that."
"You said you wanted to end your feelings for Klaus. This could be the best chance to do that. The best way to get over your crush is to open your heart to someone else," Rhea said.
"I'll think about it. Now, can we move to another topic? I'm planning on getting a dorm soon. I wonder what kind of roommate I'll get."
"Oh."
"What are your roommates like?"
Rhea forced a smile. "They're... fine."
"You don't seem to mean that. Are you hiding something from me?"
"No. I just wish we could be roommates. I'll visit you soon. You have no idea how much I miss you."
"I miss you too, Rhea."
As Rhea ended the video call, her smile dropped. She bit her lip when her door swung open, and her two roommates staggered in, laughing.
They both stopped at the sight of Rhea, their eyes flashing with disgust.
"Urgh.. this pig is still here. Fucking India pig" the first one curse. They both hated her because she came from india. Rhea packed her books and made to head to her bed.
The second one grabbed her shoulder. "Aren't you going to greet us?"
"Let go" Rhea shrugged her hand off with a cold look.
"What the fuck did you just do?" The first one pushed her shoulder and the second slapped her across the face.
Rhea shot a glare at them, then reminded herself she couldn't do anything. Her father have no power, like the two other girls. She would have love to break their noses but that would be a death wish.
Her eyes welled up in tears. Was she going to endure this humiliation till the end of the year?
"India pig" her roommates laughed.
