Liam's POV

I leaned against the wall when Jas lowered me. And I actually stopped walking in the hallway here in my office just to lean myself against the wall because of Jasmine who has a really stubborn head. I shook my head because I was annoyed with him.

'Attorney Liam Bartolome!'

I shook my head softly when Jasmine's voice entered my imagination. How he calls me by my full name.

Annoyed, I left my building and took a walk nearby. I clenched my fists when I remembered Jasmine's husband. Earl? I took care of Jasmine all my life. I became a brother to her. I take good care of her way back when we were in college until now. Who wouldn't be angry? Who wouldn't hold a grudge against Earl?

I stopped thinking when I saw someone who was a part of my bitter past. Claire?

He walks while holding his stomach. Her belly is big? His cheating on me paid off. It's been a few months since we broke up because she was pregnant. d*mn it. She was pregnant even though I didn't touch her. Never!

"Be careful!"

My attention turned to the speaker. That man is familiar to me. If I'm not mistaken it's him. My eyes narrowed as I watched how he would support the girl who once hurt me.

'Earl Patrick Martin! Don't tell me it's Claire!' My mind screamed.

I can't believe what I see, I feel sorry for Jas, she doesn't deserve this. I guess this is also the reason why he asked me to fix his annulment papers which surprised me a year ago.

Is this his reason? Does he have a hunch that Earl used to be a womanizer?

"Attorney Liam Bartolome!"

I stopped when I heard the voice. Sh*t! if I'm not mistaken I know who likes to call me that name. Not now Jas, please not now.

I saw out of the corner of my eyes the two of us turned. With the power of Jasmine's words, I know they will hear.

"I have something to tell you!" he promised loudly. I saw the sadness and pity in his eyes. I let the people who were a part of our past watch us. I took a step between us and quickly hugged him.

Celine's POV (Jasmine)

I blinked when I saw the fourth result on the pregnancy test I bought. Still positive.

I was filled with fear and I didn't know why. I'm afraid when he grows up he will ask me where his father is.

tears came out of my eyes. Since I've been waiting for a long time, I need to check-up right away. But I need a companion. I can't speak Irish because I'll be bombarded with questions.

I remembered Liam, I knew him. he's the best brother to me even though he's not my blood.

I quickly left the office and went down to my building. While in the elevator, I called Liam but he didn't answer.

busy? Seriously? I know he is a very busy person but he has never missed a call. I just frowned and made my way there.

I just walked around because I was too lazy to drive. A few more minutes and I finally arrived but I was about to enter when I spotted my target person not far away.

I just smiled. bacteria like him also think? Kidding.

"Attorney Liam Bartolome!" I shouted loudly at him. He was obviously surprised when he turned to him.

I smiled as I remembered my goal.

He stopped for a moment and looked at me.

"I have something to tell you!" I promised loudly and smiled lightly. He quickly went to me and hugged me. I hugged back too. Yes, he is really like this, always comforting me. And I'm so happy to have him.

"Wait! A-oh wait!" I complain. His hug is so tight. he let go of me and stared at me.

"Tell me what is it?" He said and held both of my hands. I smiled and grabbed from my pocket the four PTs I used earlier.

I explained that to him. He picked them up one by one.

"P-positive? You're pregnant?" he couldn't believe the promise. I just laughed at his reaction. Obviously shocked. He's ugly, hahahaha.

"A-four pregnancy tests? Quadroplets?"

"What quadroplets are you there?" I promise I'm annoyed. Is that an attorney? Why the fuck?

"This is no joke." He scratched his head. He smiled in relief as he stared at the pts in his hand again.

"This is unexpected! You're pregnant!" He promised enthusiastically. He was so happy, it was as if he could be mistaken for his father.

"Ahhhhhhhhh!"

I was stunned when he suddenly picked me up and spun me around.

"My baby girl is pregnant! Woohoo!"

"Attorney put me down! You kid!" I promised him.

He put me down and was still scratching his head.

"Sorry, just excited. Sorry baby." He said and immediately knelt down and kissed my tummy. anyway I'm happy, because I know Liam will love my son like he used to love and care for me.

"I'm going to be a grandfather." He whispered while still rubbing my stomach.

Annoyed, I hit him. He still laughed. Proud?

I was still smiling and turned around by accident. My smile disappeared when I realized who it was. I don't know if I'm just imagining things but why does he seem so angry?
