ALBERTO POV
“Baby, wait!" I called. It’s still a shock to me. I can’t believe I just saw my Leilena. I thought she was dead….so they made me believe.
I wanted to run after her immediately she ran out, but Alan stopped me.
"What are you doing? Make way" I said.
Alan shook his head in disapproval.
"Albert, calm down. I believe she wouldn't want to see you now, she needs some alone time" he said.
I didn't speak, my gaze simply remained at the direction she just ran off to.
I returned my gaze to everyone.
They were just st staring at me in shock, they're all wondering what just happened.. like why was i calling Leilena baby? Why did she slapped me and ran off?
Drake cleared his throat, smiled and stepped forward.
"Mr Del Rio, I'm sorry for Leilena’s behavior. Trust me, she doesn't behave like this on normal days, I don't know what happened to her today..."
I removed his attention from him and sucked in some air.
Yeah, I happened to her today i thought, blaming myself for her action today.
"Leila, beat you pretty hard, look at your lips bleeding" Alan said as he studied my face.
I slapped his hand away and turned back to Drake.
"Let's go to your office and talk"
"Yes, Me Albert, this way please" Drake said and led the way to his office.
He dismissed the workers and headed to his office.
We got to his office. He pushed his office door opened and we entered.
I walked in. I saw the sofa and sat down.
"Mr Alber, I'm really sorry for what happened today, our employees don't usually..."
I stopped him with a raised of his hand.
"What's her job here?" I asked.
"She's a waitress, but don't worry I've fired her and you won't get to see her aga..."
"She's not fired" i cut him off.
Drake seemed to be in a bit of confusion, he doesn't seem to understand what i meant.
"She can't be fired, she's my woman and this restaurant is a gift to her"
"What?"he exclaimed.
"She'll soon be the CEO here, so name your price.. how much?" He said
“Huh!” He said with confusion written all over his face
“Are you sure sir….?” He asked and I cursed.
“ Are you questioning me?”I asked.
“No sir. I’m sorry!” He apologize immediately.
I looked and my wrist watch and noticed it’s time to fetch Ryan.
"Alright Mr Albert. Yummy yummy restaurant now belongs to Leilena” Drake said and I nodded in acknowledgement.
I headed out with Alan beside me. I could hear whispers and murmurings as I walked out of the restaurant.
I paid deaf ears to the young ladies that drools over my handsome face.
I got to my car and slide into the backseat, Clark followed and my quickly rushed to the driver's seat and started the car.
“ I have her address now, she lives at old Levi's street" Alan reported.
I nodded.
"Does she live alone?" I asked.
"No, she lives with a lady and her daughter!” Alan said.
"Let's go to her place" I said.
“Are you kidding me right now?. You have to take things slow. You just met her today. Do you think Leila is ready to face you?. I can still remember how you ditched her!” He said and I cursed. I shut my eyes I total regrets.
"But I ditched her for a good reason"
"Good reason?! You almost got married to that bitch remember !" He yelled.
“But I didn’t!” I answered.
“I only ditched Lena back then to protect her. My dad would have killed her!” I said and sigh.
“You knew how I searched everywhere for her until I was told she died. Seeing her again came as a shock!” I muttered.
Well…
This isn’t time for regrets. I need to find a way to gained her forgiveness and make her mine again. I know it’s not easy but I just had to find a way.
“You will meet with Lena but now, your son is waiting for you.
Ten minutes later, at the preschool.
The entrance of the preschool was deserted by when i arrived. Just then, a little boy with the same looks like mine trotted in my direction.
“Daddy, you're finally here! I've waited for you for so long!”
I immediately got out of the car.
“I'm late today. I'm sorry, Ryan. I won't be late next time. Can you forgive me?”
“It's alright. You wanna kiss?” he said and I frowned.
I narrowed my eyes at the small figure that asked that question.
I caressed his cheek.
"Davis, where did you learn about people kissing?" I asked him calmly.
"Uncle Alan told me" he replied.
My eyes closed as I inhaled deeply to control my anger in front of Ryan..
I turned my attention to Alan but he quickly look away.
How dare he teach my five years old son about kissing?!
You’re screw Alan!!
I screamed in my head.
"Ryan, kissing is bad, ok?"
"But uncle Alan said it's good" he argued. I passed Alan a stern look and he sobers up quickly, he coughed slightly.
Alan!! You're so dead! Just pray I don't shey to kill you!
From the corner of my eye, I can see he was trying so hard to control himself.
"Uncle Alan said I can kiss girls" he said innocently.
"Sure, with this handsome face of yours.. you'll kiss a lot of girls" he said amidst laughter.
I kicked his leg and he groaned, he shuts up immediately. I turned back to Ryan with a gentle smile.
"No, baby, you can't kiss girls"
"Why?"
"Because you'll get cooties from kissing girls" I said.
He frowned and stared at me doubtfully, as if I'm lying to him.. which I'm actually doing for his own good.
"What is cooties?" He asked.
"Cooties is a disease that you get from kissing girls, it'll make your tummy swell..."
His hands moved to his stomach and he stared at me in horror, I smirked mentally.. I guess this would work.
".. it'll make you have bleeding nose.."
His hands flew to his nose, as if covering it would stop the disease.. I almost laugh.
".. it'll make you lose your teeth and go bald"
"I promise, papa, I didn't kiss any girls, I didn't kiss any girls, I didn't kiss any girls" he cried in panic.
"Good boy, you're a good boy right?" He nodded.
"Good boys don't kiss girls, ok?"
He nodded again, I smiled.
"Now promise me you won't kiss girls"
He raised his tiny hand up and pulled out three fingers.
"I promise I won't kiss girls"
I nodded and ruffles his hair, I leaned forward and kissed his forehead.. but he pushed me away and wiped his forehead.
He glared at me.
"Papa, cooties!" He said.
I exchange looks with Alan and he burst into another fits of laughter.. is my lie turning against me?
"No, no, big boy, papa’s kiss don't give cooties"
He frowned. "Sure?"
"Sure!"
He stayed silent and stared at me a few more minutes.
"Pinky swear?"
"Pinky swear" I said.
He nodded, then leaned forward and kissed my cheek this time.
"Now let’s go home. My feet’s are hurting!” Alan cried out.
"Shut up!” I smashed his head
"I swear, I'm not leaving my son under you care ever again!" I said.
"But im teaching him the ways of men... "
He shut up when she saw my malicious glare.
“Let’s go!” I said, carrying Ryan from the floor.
