Birthday

"Amanda let's eat at the canteen first."

As maximo wanted, he directed his car to the barbeque house where the three of us used to eat.

I sniffed and forced a smile at him. "Sorry."

"Just a joke! I'm just really hungry," he said and messed up my hair.

When the roast arrived we immediately devoured it. I saw that maximo didn't use a spoon, fork so I also shook hands.

"Of course!" I answered and blew a smirk.

He laughed at what he saw. I eat well, I also like barbeque so I'm celebrating with gusto today.

When we finished eating, I took what they had eaten and washed it.

I was busy washing when my heart suddenly started beating faster. I stopped washing and held my aching chest because of the speed of my heartbeat.

This is how I feel whenever something bad happens to me. But it's worse! It was like a meteor from outer space that fell on my chest and suddenly caught fire!

I was very close to the sink and my chest gradually tightened. At the same time as I fell to the floor, my tears were falling.

Darkness engulfed my vision and I closed my eyes completely.

A shout brought me back to reality. I immediately inhaled the air and looked around.

I'm already in my room. I closed my eyes tightly because I felt like I had run a few kilometers.

I smiled broadly when he greeted me with a hug and so did my classmates.

Gradually my eyes watered. "Thank you .... thank you kisses," I whispered to kisses as I hugged him tightly.

I cried even more when he gave me a tighter hug in return.

when my tears subsided they started to apply icing to their faces. "Happy birthday again!" Kisses and wiped his hand he took ata all the remaining icing in the cake container.

my eyes widened and I would have chased him when I saw maximo carrying a relatively large box.

"Happy 18th birthday ...." I smiled sweetly at maximo and happily thanked him. He frowned at me, maybe because of the icing on my face now.

"My gift, he wants to see you," he said so I touched the box and you immediately opened it.

It's not wrapped. It's just placed in a nice container and when you open it, you can immediately see the inside.

My eyes widened at what I saw. "Owmayghad! Really?" I can't believe the question.

maximo smiled and nodded. I slowly lowered the box and hugged him tightly even though the icing would smear his clothes.

"That's one of the things you used to like when we talked ... so that's what I gave you."

I still hugged him tightly. with so much joy I could not help but cry.

"Happy 18th birthday again. Enjoy your day and always keep smiling. I feel happy too," he said and reciprocated by hugging me even tighter.

"I didn't expect you to give me that !this is one of the gifts I have always wanted to receive! You don’t know how happy I am right now, ”I said and slipped out of the hug to look into his eyes.

His eyes widened as he stared back at me. "I know you'll be happy when that's what I gave you as a gift so I bought you."

"Whatever it is, I'll be happy, because you give it to me."

He smiled at me and gently wiped the tears from my cheek. "Don't cry ..." he said before he hugged me again and kissed the top of my head.
