Zila's Pov
Zehel just looked at me badly then he took the spoon in my hand again and he ate. He ignored me anymore.
After a time, Zehel's nephew Rave suddenly approached me and held out his hand. "Care for a dance, Aunt Liza?" he asked smiling.
After all I finished eating, I agreed but I looked at Zehel first. "It's dancing, husband. It's okay?"
"Go on ..." he simply said without looking back. He just answered the caller on his cellphone.
I just shrugged and then I took Rave's hand who guided me to the middle of the dance floor. We danced the waltz and I didn't know that so I naturally stepped on his foot.
"I'm sorry," I said.
Rave just smiled. this man, he should share at least a little smile with his uncle, when Zehel doesn't always look like a eater. "It's okay, Aunt Liza. Though, I find it really strange... the Liza I know ... is a good dancer."
Oh shoot! Of course. Liza is a social dance champion, Waltz is just nuts for her! Geezus freckles!
"Ah he he. Eh because... my foot hurts so I can't dance properly. Are you the one with the heels that are as high as Zehel's pride, I don't know if your heel doesn't hurt," I excused .
Rave burst out laughing. The guests around looked at me, even Zehel, who frowned again while talking to someone on the cellphone.
"God, I like your humor, Aunt. I never thought you had that kind of attitude..i thought you're just all beauty, like all women on our society. Boring and stupid, but you...? You're different. "
Eh? He was impressed. Rave and I just chatted while dancing. After a while, some other young friends and cousins of Zehel also approached me. they also danced for me. A teenager named ‘Eisenhower’, Cid’s friend, was dancing with me when suddenly a handsome and tall man approached to us. He smiled at me.
"Hi, may I have this dance, please?" he says.
Eisenhower just shrugged and he gave my hand to the man then he ignored turn away.
I stared at the tall man who was still smiling in a way that raised my eyebrow. I think this man is addicted, smiling for no reason. I just didn’t speak anymore.
I sighed as the man squeezed me by the waist and pulled me closer to him.
"Whoah! Easy, buddy! You can make me dance without hugging me."
The man just laughed. "Why Liza? Was my embrace reminds you of our old flame?"
What the hell! Old flame? Didn't he say he's Liza's ex?
"Whoah! buddy, I don't know you! "I said as I let go of him but the man's hug tightened. When I looked up at Zehel, I swallowed. My husband face was glaring. Seven eggplants!
"You're annoying, Liza ... you just married Zehel, you forgot about me." the man smiled foolishly. "Perhaps, I should kiss you... so you can remember me." The man was about to bring his face close to mine when I glared at him.
"All right, try..." I insisted. "You're going to leave this hotel without a mouth!"
The man was stunned. and he was stunned for a moment.
"I don't care about you anymore. I'm warning you, you don't know me! Let me go right now, I don't like everyone who is abusing me. Especially on my wedding day!"
Although the man was stunned, he still managed to smile. "Why or why? I think you were born with a fang, Liza? or are you just brave because Zehel is your husband? Hah! You are mistaken in thinking your husband is a prince, you will regret your decision --- "
"You're out of my decision. You don't care if my husband is a prince or a demon. I know better!" I growled at the stranger. I don't know but I'm a little nervous about what he's saying. I just don’t want to send fear. I am so God-Zila!
"I don't believe this!" The said of the man once shake.
"You seemed to be a different person!"
Aunt's son! I was able to show my Amazonianness again, instead of Liza’s infamous Maria-Clara-act.
My tongue twitched suddenly. And the man's grip on my waist tightened even more. I was about to disappear, when suddenly someone spoke.
"GET YOUR SMELLY HANDS OFF MY WIFE, SAGARA!"
I turned around, I saw Zehel standing near to us. His cold stare immediately devours into my body. The major drums also played automatically on my chest. I pushed the man Zehel called ‘Sagara’ and away from him.
"Tsk!" the man nodded and smiled at Zehel. Geez! He doesn't seem to be afraid of my 'husband's' stare. "I just wish your wife the best of luck, Devoncourt. No need to panic. One more thing, we also got together somehow, right Liza?" he turned to me.
"Like hell!" I answered and at the same time the two men raised their eyebrows.
Or why? I don't really know that man!
"As far as I remember, you are not invited, Sagara!" Zehel said.
"Your father invited me here. You're my business rival.. my father and your father are still buddies.you just can't erase that. I'm leaving too, I just really want Liza to dance ... because I see ... you don't make her dance. Ciao! "The man laughed and stepped away. Me ghed. He was annoying.
Zehel was left staring at me as if it was my fault why he was sick now. Or maybe ... it's my fault.
Zehel approached me and without warning took me by the hand and another touched my waist. Suddenly I was right. is Zehel making me dance or ... is he killing me? I can't breathe in the tightness of his hug!
"You don't really have a choice of flirting place, do you?" he whispered in my ear.
His hot breath caught there so my hairs stuck all over my body. Why? his warm breath tickles my insides! But wait ... what did he say? Flirting?
"Excuse me, husband. I don't know what you're saying ---"
"Come on, wife! Len Sagara was your former lover, don't make me a fool!" Zehel said more strongly.
"You also said ... former!" I retaliated. "Meaning ... past! Past! Past! And the past doesn't matter anymore Zehel! And if simply dancing with him is flirting for you, then might as well don't make me dance anymore! You might think ... I'm flirting with you too! "
I barely pushed Zehel then I let go of him hug and turned away.
Without hesitation I left the hall. Drama effect only. I could hear Zehel calling for me but I ignored him.
I went to pee, where is the damn restroom?
After I found the restroom and done do what I want to do.
I went back to the reception. I immediately saw Zehel waiting for me. As I approached him, I stared into his face. The pious face of Zehel.
The expression on his face was different. before he was angry, then annoyed, then confused now... his face is blank. Do not know. I believe this man is bipolar. Inconsistent temperament. It's like the chamelions in Panama, varying in color. Depending on the environment. Zehel, on the other hand, depends on the companion and interlocutor.
Man. he's very complex.
"Where have you been?" he asked monotone.
"Shit," I replied. "I'm still lost because I can't see the restroom."
I noticed that Zehel smiled but that wasn't very obvious. He just handed something to my bag. "Here, wear this."
"What is that?"
"Slippers," he replied.
"Alleluia! I also heard nice from you, husband! "I hurriedly picked up the bag and pulled out a flat slipper with a flower design." Thanks! "
"Now now, I'm not here to please you ---"
"Yes, yes! You're here to give me hell..." I stopped him with a frown. "But thank you anyway." I said while wearing slippers on my feet. "There! They fit better on my feet, not those bloody heels!"
I looked at Zehel and I was a little taken aback because his expression was different again. He was looking at me but he seemed to be measuring me. I can't help but be nervous.
"Why?" I will ask.
Zehel didn't answer but his eyes narrowed and his mouth watered. He was suddenly angry. And this man is really bipolar!
"Let's go! Let's go home!" he said before turning away.
"Wait ... how are the guests?" I chased him.
"Let them go! They can go home alone!" he answered almost aloud. I kept backing away. He's angry! And I don't know what I did to make him angry! I guess I should have undergone divination training with Madam Auring, when I came up with an idea of what Zehel was upset with me for!
Without a word I followed Zehel. Even though I'm talkative, I know when to shut up.
on the side of the Empire Hotel we passed after a long walk I did not realize where we had reached. I was busy thinking about things so I was surprised when I was exposed to a white chopper parked in a relatively hidden helipad.
on the side of the chopper is stamped the crest of the RedSphere. A Red Dragon circled with the initial DV. DV must stand for Devoncourt, right?
Er ... wait. Will we ride there?
"Zehel, are we going to ride home there?" I will ask.
"Yes!" he replied.
I smiled. "Great!"
Zehel frowned but did not comment. I was suddenly excited. I just love riding any aircraft vehicles. Airplane, helicopter, jets or even just parachute and paraglide. Like I said, like an adrenaline rush! If I could just ride the kite, I did! Hahaha!
I led Zehel to the chopper and I boarded immediately. "Whooo! It's game over!" I saw the pilot of the chopper. He nodded when he saw me and smiled. Infairness, handsome pilot.
My seat is next to the window, we haven't flown yet but I feel like a child who is restless. Zehel rode quietly, he was tailgating his Executive Secretary Firenze Fujima, twenty five years old, single, quiet but heavenly, smart, kinder to his boss and friend Zehel and a Harvard Law graduate at the age of twenty -three. Your saliva will only turn sour because ... he is really quiet. He only knew how to talk to Zehel.
He was with us to go home to Zehel's house. Surely the two of them will only be doing business so I just fit in looking outside.
"Are we in Verona?" the pilot asked.
"Nope. We're in Sephiro," Zehel replied.
Sephiro? All I know is that the high-rise condominiums owned by the Devoncourts. Zehel probably has a unit there, and we will continue there. Tsh! What ever. Even if he takes me to hell, I don’t care. I am not afraid.
when the chopper rose, I just smiled to myself and watched around slowly descend. Whoaah! Here's the adrenaline friend. My foot throbs with excitement. Yey!
When I turned to Zehel and E.A. he said to Fujima, I almost laughed. they both frowned. Lol. They both hold some papers that I can't get where for. I just smiled at them and looked back out of the chopper.
I remember all my adventures as a Natgeo Photographer. Waaah. I will always miss my team. I just reminisce until we get to Sephiro.
"Touchdown!" I said as the chopper landed on the helipad of the building.
Zehel got out of the chopper first. then without a word he left me and he went up the stairs where there were men in suits and ties waiting as well.
I just shrugged and got out of the car. Zehel is really ungentleman, I know that. Fujima is still good, he helps me get off the chopper.
"Thanks," I told him.
Fujima smiled. "Don't mind Zehel ..." he said.
"Sure, I know he has multiple personality disorder. Abnormal," I replied.
The man laughed. "Yeah. You're right ... but other than that. Mmmmm. Maybe Zehel is just a little surprised ..."
My forehead furrowed. "Wondering where?"
Fujima's face was serious. "You really enjoy riding the chopper, Liza. Don't you... you have a phobia of heights? Last time Zehel put you in the chopper... you fainted from fear.now, now ... it's just amazing ... "he smiled meaningfully and then Fujima followed his boss/friend.
I was left stunned.
Of course! Liza has a phobia of high places!
I doubt followed Fujima, I don't know but I was suddenly scared. I had a series of misfortunes, instead of acting as Liza ... I was showing who I really am. God-Zila! The opposite of Liza!
I wouldn't be surprised if Zehel frowned. Hello! Liza's first love is high heels, the higher the better! As for me, I can only see the heel ... my foot is already hurting. I really swear by that. And besides ... Liza has food breeding. While I ... PIG! I raise my foot when I eat, which is why Liza didn't want to be with me back then. She was disgusted with the way I ate. What's more... Liza is afraid of heights. She just rose a little in the air, she was dizzy. that's why my twin rarely left the country, torturing her to board the plane. Tsk!
It’s like I want to tweak myself in what I’m doing.
I had already told his Legal Adviser that I was not Liza! But what did Zehel say in his letter ...DON'T LET ME GO!
He's fat! It was his fault that he was wondering now. I am thankful that I agreed to marry him. If I’m the one to follow, I’ll just go back to London and take a new assignment at NatGeo.
with the intensity of my thought, I could no longer get down to the rooftop of Sephiro and face a closed brassdoor.
Great... how did I get here? Magic.
Where are Zehel and Fujima now? I'm just following them. Is this where they entered this brassdoor?
I turned around. the hallway I was in was elegant. The floor is carpeted and there are hanging chandeliers on the ceiling and there are also plants on the side. I saw an elevator at the end. It looks like the top floor, Sephiro's Penthouse. The brassdoor is the only door on the whole floor. hmmmm.
I just remained standing opposite the door. I don’t know if I’m knocking or knocking. I'm a little skeptical because what Fujima said, that man has the strength to threaten. But go ahead ... I'm knocking.
I raised my hand to knock but suddenly the door opened. my hand hung in the air when Zehel's bulk was exposed to me.
I sighed. It was as if the surroundings were in slow motion again when I saw his face. The wind also disappeared. Everything seemed to zoom in and out. I feel a vortex pull me closer to him.
I was stunned.
When my eyes landed on Zehel’s dark chocolate-colored eyes, I swallowed. They were so serious, so enigmatic, so beautiful and so dangerous. His firm lips looked firmer than ever. I regret that I went to church earlier. Chimpanzee? Hell! Zehel's distance from the chimpanzee. Wasteful. I could have tasted his lips.
I'm going crazy again. Zila! Zila! Zila! Wake up.
"H-hi!" I greet Zehel with a wave.
"WHAT THE HELL ARE DOING THERE?!" Zehel shouted.
"Ahm..." what am I doing? "... standing up?" my answer. "And admire the surroundings. Nice chandelier oh, elegant! ~ I'm gonna swing ... from the chandeli ... er! From the chandeli ... eerrr!" I said.
For a fraction of seconds, Zehel's expression seemed to laugh, but he apparently decided to just frown. "Come in here!" he said before turning around and going straight inside.
I just sucked. Wasteful. I thought he would laugh. Where else am I. Tsh! I just stepped in as well.
I stared entering inside the large brassdoor. an elegant and spacious room was exposed to me. Wait, how do I describe this? I can't find a sensible adjective. The room itself shouted the eliteness status of the owner. Grabe! Just imagine that a Prince lives in Sephiro’s Penthouse.
It's not difficult ... Zehel looks like a prince. Prince of the Bipolar and Shout.
Bachelor-type style of the whole room but with a touch of Victorian class. Zehel is really an artistic man.
the penthouse is fully equipped with modern equipment, from the hometheater set to the mini-gym set in one corner. I can only see two doors. Maybe the one room and the other is a library or office. I also saw a hallway, must be a way to kitchen and dining area. Cool! the whole penthouse is only one person. Is this where Zehel intends to leave me?
One of the rooms opened and Fuijima came out of it. "Zehel ... the papers you need are ready," the man said.
Zehel nodded before looking at me. "Come here, Liza you've got to read our term of agreement. "
Huh? Agreement? Do we have an agreement again? Did I think it was enough, that I married him? What other agreement is that?
Zehel stepped seriously into the room. He looked angry again so I just followed him.
as I guessed ... the room looks like an office/library. Here maybe Zehel does his job when he’s at home. It is obvious that this man is a workaholic.
Zehel sat down in front of a table with the size flat screen laptop computer. gTE-Axis CyberEnigma is the brand. An out-of-this-world modified computer made by giant company GTE-Axis Asia.
"Sit," Zehel said seriously pointing the chair opposite him. Fujima was just on the side and smiling watching. I took a deep breath and sat in the chair pointed out by my 'husband'.
"Okay, go ahead. What agreement are you saying? Hurry up and I want to change my clothes and go to sleep."
Zehel's expression didn't change, he was just staring at me so I was a bit born again. But even so, I fought the rivalry of looking at Zehel. I don't want him to think that he is intimidating me so even if my knees shake with the intensity of his stare, I just stare straight into his beautiful eyes.
A few seconds also passed and if Zehel's cellphone hadn't beeped ... he wouldn't have blinked. but the man ignored the call, he just took a piece of paper lying on the table and handed it to me.
"Read this..." he said as he drew a malicious smile on his lips. I was hit hard.
I picked up the paper and immediately read it. exposed to me the surprising letters. I shuddered and my hands trembled as I stared at the paper.
"W-WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?! WHY DOES PAPA'S COMPANY NAMED YOU?!" I shouted. I can't believe what I read.
the paper states that the company Vexin Textiles Industries is owned by Zendrel Devoncourt and is now an affiliate of RedSphere Inc. "WHAT NONSENSE IS THIS, DEVONCOURT?!" I shouted.
Zehel just smiled. If my butt doesn't explode, I'll admire his beautiful smile. but because I'm angry, I'd rather give him a flying kick in the face!
"Simple. Vixen is mine, wife..." he replied.
"BUT WE TALK CLEARLY!" I stood up in annoyance. "IF I MARRY YOU, YOU WILL BRING PAPA'S COMPANY BACK TO ME ---"
"Ah ah ah!" stopped Zehel. "I didn't say anything like that. Did you really read my letter to you before?"
The honest answer is ‘no’. But of course I will not admit.
"YES!" my answer.
"Liar." said Zehel. "You didn't read or pay attention to that... so I'm not surprised if you're angry now. I said in the letter, I will redeem your Dad's company and then we will discuss the terms and conditions... then I ask you to marry me. That's a different thing, wife... "
Seven eggplants! I'm not sleepy. after all, I was the only one who assumed that he would return the company to me when I married him.
"B-but ..." I said nothing.
"But you can have your company back..." Zehel added as he leaned back in his swivel chair and smiled at me again.
"How?" I asked immediately.
Zehel brushed her hair and looked out the window. "Read the next paragraph ..."
I didn't read the next paragraph. when I read ... I was suddenly numb. Then my brain and soul flew to pluto.
Godzilla ... Zehel is really serious about his punishment.
I sat down in the chair and re -read the condition on paper.
'Vixen will be a subjective company to RedSphere Inc. until Mrs. liza Madrid Devoncourt carry a child of her husband, Zendrel Devoncourt in a span of one month, then the Company will immediately be transfer into her name. '
You monster, Zehel! One month? I have to get pregnant in one month?! I don't want to have children yet! especially if it's a monster man!
"Decide wife. Will you sign or will you lose the company?" Zehel asked in a foolish tone.
"Damn you, bastard!" I shouted.
Zehel just laughed.
"Why are you so shocked?" Zehel asked with a raised eyebrow. "I thought it was okay for you for us to have children?"
Let's go. Wew. There is 'we'. Think about it.
"You know I'm not serious there, husband!"I said."I don't want to have little dinosaurs anymore!"
Zehel frowned. "Dinosaur?"
"Because I'm Godzi ---" I immediately bit my tongue. your mouth, Zila. That's because my team at NatGeo is joking. When God-Zila gave birth, her children were naturally little dinosaurs. "Ah just!"
"Then you can never have that company back, Liza ..." Zehel said.
Do I have no other option?
"You have no option," he added as if my brain had been read.
What, Zila? Will you agree with Zehel’s condition? Give him a little monster? I can't seem to imagine that. And hello! I wish I could get pregnant as long as he just looks at me or touches me! everyone knows how the baby is doing. Need ... intercourse! Your God-Zila is still a virgin! Never been ... anything!
What will I do?
But the company? Dad’s legacy, how come?
Decide Zila! You decide! Hurry up!
"Ballpen!" I suddenly said.
"Huh?" Zehel asked.
"I said ballpen!"
"What are you going to do with the pen?"
"I'll stab you in the forehead!" I said. "I thought you were smart? The Great Zehel Devoncourt! What's the purpose of the ballpen, I'll probably write! I'll sign, husband! You said decide right? or here, I have decided! "
Zehel is stupid. So it was Fujima who gave me the ballpen. I immediately took and signed the damn paper. And because I'm also a fool, I used my signature again. God-Zila.
"It's just a child!" I said. "That's what you want?" I stood up and faced Zehel. "Oh hey, come to the room and start what you want! I'm easy to talk to!"
Zehel and Fujima were both amazed at what I said. I want to burst out laughing at the kind of expression of the two.
Horror movie. Their eyes widen.
I smiled. "Just a joke!" I said at once peace sign. "Don't do it now, I'm still tired. All right, I'll sleep first. Byebye, husband!" I waved my back and out of the room at once.
I heard Zehel swear softly. I was ordered to go out. Lol. Zehel's face.
