||Mishal's POV||
They informed me Zayaan had already left for important work without breakfast. I finished my breakfast silently and pushed my plate after eating half of it, feeling I took more bites, I would end up vomiting again.
I went to the lawn for the fresh air. I was walking in the lawn when the main door opened and a car drove in. I stared at the car thinking Zayaan was back.
But when it stopped on the porch, a girl stepped out of the car. She looked beautiful and confident, having the aura of a courageous woman. She looked around as she closed the door and paused when she spotted me. She paused for a minute then smiled at me.
She made her way towards me and stopped in front of me. I was looking at her in confusion while she was smiling at me.
“So, you are the one who takes over Zayaan’s heart,” She said with a teasing smile.
“Where are my manners! Sorry! I should have introduced myself first,” She said with a laugh and rolled her eyes at herself, “I am Innaya. You can say I am a family friend of your husband.”
“I am Mishal,” I said with a smile.
I took her inside the house and we both sat in the living hall. She told me about herself that she was a lawyer and was here for some work reason. We both talked and she made me laugh a lot.
I never had any friends in my life and didn't know the meaning of friendship but she talked with me so friendly and seemed friendly. She didn't make me feel like it was our first meeting.
She told me she was busy with something which made her not attend my wedding and her brother also died a few days before the wedding. I quickly passed my condolences after hearing her brother's death.
“I am the only one who is talking from the past hour. You are so quiet and not talking much,” She complained with a pout.
“I don't speak much,” I mumbled, shyly.
That was true. I didn't talk much because I was lonely since I was born. We both looked up when we heard someone enter the living hall.
Zayaan entered the living hall with a man of the same age as him. I saw Innaya standing up and glared at the man behind Zayaan in anger.
“What the hell is he doing here? Do you stalk me? You just appear from somewhere wherever I go,” She yelled at him.
I looked at her in shock and surprise. Anyone would get scared by seeing this side of her just like I did for a moment. She looked dangerous while looking angry.
“I come here for important work. I am not stalking you. Here is only one stalker and that is you who stalks people,” He said to her softly like he was speaking to a stubborn child.
“I don't stalk anyone. Even if I do then it is a part of my work,” She said, irritatedly.
She stomped out of the living hall in anger leaving me alone with them. I looked at Zayaan who was already looking at me and came near me.
“He is my friend. Asher,” Zayaan informed me, standing beside me.
I looked at the man who called Asher and saw him turning his attention to me. He gave me a small and turned to Zayaan.
“Lucky you! You get a beautiful girl unlike me,” Asher said looking at the door again from where Innaya stomped out.
I excused myself, leaving them alone and went out to look for Innaya. She was sitting in the kitchen and eating frozen yogurt and cursing under her breath.
“He likes you,” I told her, quietly.
She stopped and looked at me for a second then groaned.
“Not you. Please I am tired of listening to everyone saying he likes me. He doesn't like me. It is just an obsession and I hate him,” She said and started eating again.
“Ma'am, lunch is ready and both sirs are waiting for you both at the table,” A servant said coming inside the kitchen before I told Innaya it wasn't an obsession.
"Do you want to eat with them on the table or here in the kitchen? I can join you if you choose latter," I told Innaya, thinking she might not like eating with Asher.
"You are so sweet, Mishal. Thank you for this offer but if I didn't eat at the table with them, he'll take this reason to annoy me. So, let's eat there. I'll endure this," She told me and smiled at the first sentence.
"This shall too pass!"
I heard her mumbling this as we both went to the dinning hall. We both sat at the table, joining both men and ate together. Zayaan and Asher were talking together but Asher was occasionally stealing glance at Innaya while Innaya was eating angrily.

Innaya and Asher stayed here for a week but they lived in the hotel instead of living with us, saying they couldn't ruin the honeymoon of the married couple. And both of them went back to Lahore yesterday. In this one week, I had nightmares every night, making me stressed.
Today I woke up with a nightmare again and drenched in sweat. I sat up and rubbed my head, feeling a terrible headache. I quickly stood up, feeling nausea and rushed in the washroom like every night and emptied my stomach.
This kind of routine had become normal for me and made me feel weak like anytime my soul would leave me.
I washed my face and took a warm shower. After taking shower, I sat on the bed and sighed. I looked at the picture of Zayaan which was framed on the wall. He gave his room to me and slept in the guest room himself from the past week.
We both were married but sharing a room made me uncomfortable so he let me sleep here till I become comfortable living with him and accept him completely. I was feeling bad by literally kicking him out of his room.
He gave me space and never questioned me about anything. He also gave me medicine after knowing I was having dizziness and nausea.
Hearing my stomach growled because of hunger, I got up from the bed. I went to the kitchen quietly and made a sandwich for myself.
I took the sandwich out in the lawn with me and sat on the swing. The sun was dawning and the sky was looking beautiful. I enjoyed my sandwich with the beautiful scene and it made my nerves relax.
After an hour, I went back inside and saw Zayaan sitting on the sofa with the laptop on his lap. I walked to the staircase, passing behind him and was on the first step of the stairs when I was stopped.
“Mishal!” I heard his mom's voice.
I stopped and looked at Zayaan’s back. His laptop was in front of him which was facing me and his mom was on the video chat. I smiled and walked towards Zayaan, stood behind him and greeted her.
“How are you, dear? Why are you looking so pale? Did you eat your breakfast on time?” She asked me, looking concerned.
“I am fine!” I told her, giving her a small smile.
“Zayaan, why don't you take care of her? She is your wife. Look after her health. Look at her. She is looking pale and ill. Take her to the doctor,” Mom said to Zayaan.
“Mom! Mom! I will take her to the doctor. Don't worry!” Zayaan said, politely and glanced at me.
I was about to tell her not to worry about me but nausea again. I put my hand on my mouth and rushed to the washroom upstairs. I threw up again for the second time today. I was washing my face after brushing my teeth when Zayaan entered the washroom.
“Are you fine? Did you take the medicine I gave you?” He asked, looking at my face from the mirror with a small frown and a little concern in his face.
I nodded my head and took a step to walk but lost my balance. He quickly came to me and held me. He took me in the room and helped me to lay on the bed then he put the duvet on me.
“Take some rest! I'll call for the doctor,” He said and went out of the room.
I closed my eyes and slept didn't know for how long. I was awakened when someone knocked on the door. I stood up weakly and opened the door. A lady with a stethoscope was standing there with the maid behind her.
“Ma'am, she is here for your check up,” Maid informed me then went away.
“I am Dr. Noshi,” She informed me as I let her into the room.
“Mishal,” I told her my name.
Zayaan really had to call for the doctor. I let her check me. After checking, she was beaming and grinning.
“Congrats! You are expecting a baby!” She said with a big smile.
