chapter 4 : I have a girlfriend and I love her so much

Jason thought for a while then nodded “ that's true, am sure your father is proud of you wherever he is now.”

Isabella gave a bitter smile “proud? I don't think so,the only thing he asked for, was for us to get engaged and later get married.”

She continued “ jason I know you don't have any romantic feelings for me,so do I ,we both know that we don't love each other but I really want to respect my father's last wish ,this the only thing I can do for him ,I hope you understand ” she said.

“Yeah I do ” he responded.

He hesitated slightly but he still went ahead to say “ there's something I need to tell you ,I have a girlfriend and I love her so much ,since she found out about our engagement things between us has changed drastically ” he said sadly.

She remembered the rumors that Chloe said she heard ,so it was true she thought in her head.

For some reason Bella felt disappointed and sad “ am sorry ” she said “ I know all this is happening because of me ,I didn't mean to get between the both of you .Maybe I should talk to my mom to cancel the engagement.”

She continued to say “ I really didn't know about the engagement it was when we came back to New York that my mom told me. I doubted her a little not until she showed the agreement papers of 10 years ago I was so shocked. I didn't saw this coming.”.she said gloomily

Jason quickly rejected “ no I can't do that. I need to respect uncle William last wish his dear to me too. How about this since we don't have feelings for each other ,we can just pretend to be a happy , loving couple infront of the elders ,I won't interfere in your life and you won't interfere in mine either,what do you think ?“

Bella smiled ” it sounds like a perfect plan ,it's a deal " she said with a faint smile.

He said to her “ it's our top secret now you can't tell anyone not even Chloe except she's good at handling secrets."

” Okay “ she said .

He made a toast to celebrate their brilliant idea in this case nobody will be hurt .They stayed a little longer and talked about some issues briefly,when it was 9:00pm he paid the bill and he drove her home , it was already 10pm when she got home .

Jason glanced at her and said ” can I have your number. “

” Sure ” she quickly nodded. She gave him her number then she got off the car .“ Good night ”she said to him in a soft voice .

“ Bye ” he waved at her then drove off.

Isabella quietly went upstairs to her room ,once she got into her room she showered and wore her cotton blue pajamas, and threw herself on the bed.she closed her eyes and quickly driffted off to sleep.

In the Jackson's Villa

In the middle of the night ,screams and noises could be heard. Emma was destroying her room she turned it upside down .

Mr and Mrs Jackson was panicked they rushed to Emma's door and begged her to open it .

" Baby please open the door ,just listen to me okay don't hurt yourself  she said sobbingly,you are our only child ,pls don't do this to your mother. “ Mrs Jackson said.

“I won't open this door until Jason's engagement is cancelled and I can't guarantee that I won't hurt myself.”Emma said sobbing.

" I love Jason and I want to be with him, Jason is supposed to be mine." Emma said while yelling.

“Okay if you open this door I will go to Jason's parent and get you and Jason engage instead. since you love each other, daddy will support you. Mr Jackson said.

Emma was delighted ” really? Dad you just promised me don't go back on your word once I open this door “ . After all her parent always dote on her since she was a little girl ,she was glad that her plan worked.

She quickly opened the door Mrs Jackson rushed up to her and gave her a hug . “ baby you gave me a fright ,please don't ever do that again we will do anything you say but pls don't harm yourself okay ?“

” Okay Mom. ” you and Dad promised me don't break your promise. We should go there first thing tomorrow." She sounded excited.

After the maids cleared up the room she went back to bed with a vicious smile on her face.

In the Andrew's mansion

The next morning, Isabella was awoken by knocks on her door she was so annoyed she was having a peaceful sleep,she used her pillows to cover her ears but she could still hear the knocks, this time it was as if the person wanted to break down her door with no other choice she climbed down from her bed, immediately she unlocked the door a familiar figure rushed up to her excitedly it was Chloe

She said with a smile " how was it huh? I couldn't get enough sleep last night I was thinking about how your date went so I decided to come to you this morning."

Isabella said to her “ how was what ? ” she was slow to respond cause she was still drowsy.

Chloe rolled her eyes “ your date with Jason of course. ”

“ Oh that ” Isabella said weakly . “ it went well ” she said .

“ I want all the details okay ” Chloe sounded excited.

Isabella was tired “ crazy girl , enough of this go to your room am still sleepy ”

" Oh I see ,when you wakeup ,you must give me all the details okay ? “

” Yeah yeah just get out ” Isabella sounded fustrated.

Oh yeah before I go ,the Harrison's called this morning they are inviting us to Jason's grandma 80th birthday “

“ Okay , when is it ”she asked

“ The day after tomorrow ” Chloe said .

Harrison's mansion

" thud thud"

“ Come in ” he said with a hoarse voice .his mom Mrs Harrison came in Pulling a long face.

“ Son I thought all this while you didn't have any girlfriend,is it true that you and that Emma girl is dating? ” she's downstairs with her parent .“ she said.

Jason was shocked ,he frowned and lowered his head ” yeah she's my girlfriend " he said.

His mother was expecting this answer but she was still angry hearing it from him ,she said harshly “ she's your junior sister's friend how could you, you better go freshen up ,come downstairs and say to her in front of her parent that you have broken up with her and you are happy about your engagement ” his mom said.

Jason was unhappy but he couldn't refuse his mother he nodded and wen to freshen up .
