Chapter 3: Locked in the cave

SARAH

I stood leaning my back against the closed giant wall; shivering in great fear without saying a word, because it seems my voice only triggers his anger.

His fuming became more intense on me and I could barely see him, as my phone light seized to work and I could only notice his actions with the red light that came on in the cave immediately my light stopped functioning.

in shock , i began to regret my idea of the hunting game

'I shouldn't have been the one to choose a game' I muttered out in regrets

"Oh my gosh" I said holding my chest as my heart gripped when I noticed him bringing out a giant chain with torns on it. 'Is he planning to use that on me ?' I asked myself.

This made me completely devastated and I broke the silence by crying out profusely

My eyes were shut tightly. I couldn't bear the sight of him anymore, and fell to my knee to began begging

"Please sir, I beg you in Gods name, don't hurt me. I came here just to tour and take pictures. This is how I earn a living, and am so sorry if you think I trespassed. I'm the only child of my parents and my dad is late. I beg you, please, don't hurt me. I would go and never return to this place again If you spare my life please...."

I said all this with my eyes closed, not minding what was going on in the cave anymore. I was left with two crucial thoughts in mind as I cried heavily

It was all about how to leave the cave and what would happen to me if he doesn't let me go. would I get stuck in the cave for the rest of my life just as Alicia had said earlier? What if this was actually the vampires cave she was talking about, what would be my fate in the hands of this monster ?.

The smell of death was all I could perceive in the cave, and hopes of leaving is what I wanted

I never knew what happened next as I was deeply in thought and tears at the same time but I felt the giant wall I was leaning on, opening slowing like it got touched by my words and decided to have mercy on me.

I opened my eyes few minutes after I felt the wall had opened and saw the sun light reflecting into the cave but couldn't find the mysterious man again. He disappeared.

immediately, i stood up and took to my heels in fear and grief with no other thoughts in my head other than what I encountered in the cave and how I could explain it to Alicia and the others

I kept on meditating on it with tears in my eyes, when i bumped into some group of people that brought me back to reality.

"Sarah..... Are you ok?" David asked, holding me firmly with both hands

"What happened to you, Sarah? We have been looking all over for you? " everyone who came for camping began asking as they gathered around me looking worried

"i... I..I.... saw a huge mysterious man, looking so fierce in the cave I was trapped in." i stuttered and pointing to the direction of the cave

"Cave ??? what cave?...." Natasha asked- looking so surprised

"You ran into a cave?... Here?."

Some other guy asked and sounded surprised too

" Yes I did and there was a strange angry looking man in the cave. Please let's get out of here before he comes to get us, he would definitely think we are trespassing." i said fearfully, tightly holding on to David.

"Okay baby . Let's get back to our tent everyone" David said to them all and we departed to the camping ground

AT THE CAMPING GROUND

"Ok Sarah, so what exactly occurred right in that cave ?" David asked as they were all eager to hear my story.

"I was touring in the woods looking for an animal to hunt, when I bumped against a giant wall that has got Arabic inscription engraved on it. I placed my hands to feel it, trying to figure out what it is and decided to take pictures of the strange wall because i found it facinating, but all of a sudden the walls got opened, exposing a really dark cave to me.

"I entered with intentions to take out a shinny diamond which I saw reflecting, when the walls shut immediately; leaving me alone with a mysterious looking man in the dark cave." I explained to them.

"What did he do to you sarah ?," David asked curiously

" He was angry at first and tries coming closer to me but I cried and pleaded for mercy then suddenly, the wall opened but I couldn't see him anymore and I didn't know where he disappeared to either because my eyes were both closed while I cried.

"Hmmm, that's strange." Alicia said when I explained what happened

"With your explanations, it seems what you actually encountered was the vampires cave I told you guys about earlier, but what amazes me is how you were able to get out of the cave. "Alicia added"

"Are you trying to say she wouldn't have been able to come out of there?" one of the girls asked in shock

"From my research like I explained to you earlier, no one has ever been able to escape from the cave when shut inside and by the way, where is your camera Sarah? Let's see if the pictures you took matches with the one on the internet?" Alicia asked

"I must have dropped the camera there I can't find it." I replied as I looked around me in confusion.

"All am left with is my phone and my bracelet and phone."

"Oh god damnit" David said in frustration

"Relax Dave there is still a way out. why don't we search about the cave on the internet using her descriptions, just to be sure if its actually what she bumped into..." Natasha said

" Yeah I think that is a really good idea." he replied and alicia brought out her phone and tried checking it out

" Oh no, there is no service anywhere. service here must be really bad."

*****"Immediately Alicia said this, they all brought out their mobile phones to see if they could access the internet but to no avail*******

"Oh no, guys let's just forget about it and avoid the woods for now. is that understood?"

Yes, they all agreed...

"guys I know what Sarah experienced today was very shocking , but that isn't gonna spoil our fun right? let's gather all we have got from hunting and prepare dinner with it, its getting late already.". Natasha

" yeah I agree with that." Alicia

*****The girls all brought out what they were able to hunt and prepared dinner with it. setting a camp fire, sitting round and discussing******

"This meal is really delicious" A girl said

"Yeah, todays hunt was really great. I had alot of experience and fun. " another replied

"Am glad you girls enjoyed the hunt, but the meat would have probably been more than this if we the guys were actually the one that went for the hunting.' David said to them while eating the meat

"Yeah... Yeah.. that's true" the boys all responded in agreement

"We guys are great when it comes to hunting" A guys said

"Not just hunting but everything else. we are really focused and determined. That's why we get things done well". another guy replied

" Oh you think so? Wait till you get an erection let's see if you guys can still remain focus duhhh!. " Natasha said and they all laughed out loud.

" You are right Natasha, it's just like their sex drive rules over them, they can't even be satisfied with one girl," Alicia added

"So true" the girls all replied

"They can't do without us you know," another girl said

"Nope, that's definitely not me. I still love my Sarah and would love her forever." Davidhe said- wrapping his hands around sarahs neck and kissing her cheek

"Awwwnnnn," the girls all exclaimed passionately.....

"I feel like falling in love again" Natasha

"Oh really, but I asked to keep you company earlier and you acted cold about it," a boy replied Natasha

"maybe she doesn't trust you." Alicia replied him...

*****The conversation was still going smoothly when sarah stood up*****

"Sarah, where are you going?, you haven't said a word since we started" Natasha asked-looking worried

"I will join you guys soon baby girl, lemme go get something in the tent Sarah replied

Would be right back....

She told them and went to the tent

SARAH POV

The gist was getting interesting but I didn't pay much attention to it as my mind was still on what I saw earlier

I decided to go to the tent, maybe I could lay down alone there to clear my head

Slowly, I walked into the tent and began clearing it up. It was really messy.

"This girl's must have played rough in here today," I said as there were girls stuffs scattered all over the place

I was still in arrangement process, when something hit my foot a little bit hard

"Ouchhh"........... I exclaimed

looking down to my feet, i saw my missing camera laying next to my foot

In shock I ran out of the tent ⛺ screaming in fear and making everyone gather around me frighteningly.

"Sarah what's the problem..." David asked, holding my hands

"You saw a ghost or what? "

"I saw my camera in the tent, I mean how did it get there? It was supposed to be in that cave right ? ". I replied with a trembling voice

Hearing this, they all ran into the tent to go take a look. Seeing the camera there made everyone afraid too

"What is happening here, am becoming scared",". A girl said and david Immediately picked up the camera.

"Dave, what are you doing?" I asked him

" trying to see if I could get something meaningful out of it."

"Mhen! Damnit" david said in frustration"

"What is it Dave?" I asked

"I can't get anything outta it, the camera is blank"

"Oh no! ". Every got tensed up

" I really don't think I can stay in the camp any longer am scared" i said

" That's ok guys. I understand but it's already too late to leave. why don't we pass the night here and we leave tomorrow "

We all shook our head in agreement.........

" Ok girls good bye. have a nice sleep. me and the boys are going to our own tent " david said as him and the guys all turns to leave when the girls cried out ....

"Wait. we girls are scared and can't stay in the tent alone why don't we pass the night together with you guys.... Pleaseee.....". Natasha cried out

"Alright then." David agreed

The guys all became excited to hear this as they let out a joyful smile

SARAH IN THE GUYS TENT

I lay down facing up in the boys tent a little bit close to David, asked thinking about all that has transpired that day with the the camera on my hands placed on my belly.

While everyone was fast asleep, I decided to check it out again

I put on the the camera to see if there was anything but it was still blank.

I was about to put it off and go back to sleep when a phone number displayed on the camera screen.

this brought a huge surprise in me and i was still holding the camera. then I immediately hid it and pretended to be sleeping when I saw Natasha got up from her sleeping position coming to mine looking so angry like she had been fighting in her dream

what might have made her so angry ? I asked in confusion and pretended to be fast asleep
