Chapter 2 : Camping

They were all gathered at the camping ground, setting their tents properly..

There was a very nice turn up as David and his girlfriend did a nice work in inviting their friends.

"I was right, this place is a very nice location for camping," David said

"Yeah but don't you think it's a bit scary?, " one of sarahs friend asked looking scared

" No I haven't heard of any scary incident happening here." David replied

" haven't you heard of the old vampires cave? Well am not certain if this is actually the place but from my recent studies, I think it was actually talking about here." Alicia replied

"What does your studies says about the vampires cave?". Sarah her asked anxiously

" It talked about an old cave with hard black walls that vampires reside in. It is believed that anyone who accidentally gets into the cave is gonna be stuck inside forever."

"And why is that ?," Natasha asked

"The giant cave wall do shut people in forever." she replied

"And what would happen to anyone who gets stuck in the cave?" one of Davids friend asked curiously too

" My studies shows that humans who were victims, became slaves to the vampires and locked with chains of toture forever or even get killed!. It is believed that the king of the vampire is behind all this." Alicia explained as they gave her maximum attention

"wow, is he that cruel ? But why ?," Sarah asked in shock

"yes, research shows that he has been doing this as a way to express his rage due to what a man caused him years back"

" What man, and what did he do to him ?.......

" that's enough guys," David interrupted by cutting them short.

"There's nothing creepy about this place okay, I did my research and didn't find anything that would be of harm to us, if there was, I wouldn't have brought you guys here."

" Yeah, I think david is right. This place doesn't look bad to me, it's normal. Besides, I love creepy creepy....."

Natasha cuts in and said stylishly, making them to all laugh and get back to setting their things properly

Natasha was about leaving also when a friend of David who came camping also, approached her...

"Hey natasha, don't you think you will need a guys company here? Am available you know," he said- giving her a really bright smile and wandering his eyes on her body.

"No dear, am much better of without you", "she replied to him coldly and walks away rudely. she was about being followed by him when David called out to all of them to come gather"

"Hey guys!!! Let's all come together and" discuss. whats your take on playing a game? " He asked as they all came together

" Wow... games would be nice. What game are we gonna play ?" one of the girls asked

"I would choose animal hunt. my opinion though".... Sarah replied

" Okay. guys, who agrees with Sarah on animal hunt"?

They all responded and raised up their hands in agreement..

" Ok everyone, here's how the game is gonna go. we the guys are gonna wait here while the girls go into the woods for hunting. A specific time would be set for you all to get here and the first person to get here with a nice animal would be crowned the queen of this years camp. What do you think girls ?" He asked the girls ....

" That's a nice idea...". They all agreed to it and he turns to ask the guys

"Guys, what do you also have to say about this?"David asked the guys also and they responded affirmatively.

" That's good. Alright girls your time start now, remember the first person to get back with a hunted meat Is gonna be the winner,"

The girls ran into the woods in search of an animal to hunt

SARAH'S POV

I was really happy finally going for hunting again after few years, which felt like forever.

Hunting do reminds me of my dad. before he passed away, he made it a culture spending weekends in the woods with me and guiding me on how to hunt.

I missed him so much, and I couldn't help but get memories of me and him as I tour around the woods alone with a smile on my face

As I tour in the woods in search of an animal to hunt and also enjoying the view, I suddenly came across a very big rabbit and a smile escape from my lips.

"This is exactly what I have been searching for." I said to my self and began to chased after it,but it ran so fast.

With speed, I bumped into so bush corners, sweating profusy with my heart beating; just with the intentions of getting this rabbit. Old memories of me and dad started flooding into my mind, which turned into ideas on how I could trap the rabbit.

I took my father's strategy to heart and began to move more quickly along the overgrown path. As I ran, I felt a surge of confidence. I was sure that I would be able to trap my pretty in no time. Just as I felt my hopes rising, I felt something collide with my body, knocking me to the ground. My head throbbed as I lay there, dazed and disoriented. I tried to get up, but my legs felt like lead weights.

"Ahhhggghh." I exclaimed in frustration and pain I felt

I managed to get on my feet to study what the obstacle was, but it seem to be covered with grasses..

Out of curiosity, I brought out my hunting knife from my bag and cut down the leaves covering the obstacles, and to my surprise, a massive wall with so many Arabic inscriptions on it was exposed to me

I saw pictures of scary events boldly engraved on the walls which was telling stories of fallen heroes from the medieval times.

"Wow, this is strange and fascinating. Is this some kind of the old ancient Egyptian civilization or what?,". I asked myself, with fascination boldly written on my face.

I ran my hands on the walls to feel it and It was so really hard. Infact, the hardened nature of the wall made me believe that it was something ancient because I haven't seen anything modern that's as hard as it.

Seeing this, I hastily brought out my camera from my small bag and began to take pictures of the wall

"It gonna be a very good story for my blog and office also." I said excitedly

After taking the pictures of the wall, I immediately brought out the bracelet which my dad gave to me before he passed.

He told me that each time am confused and want to figure out something strange , I should ask the bracelet and I will find answers. Crazy right ?, Well It sounds strange but it really works.

I did as my dad instructed and began talking to the bracelet when the giant wall suddenly began to open slowly.

I shifted back and bent my face as lots of bats were escaping out of the cave really fast.

I was amazed with the thick darkness I saw inside. it was so dark that I couldn't see a thing as stood there dumbfolded not knowing what to do

At this point, I was already getting scared with the thick darkness I could see in the cave

Due to this, I intended leaving immediately when I noticed something shining really bright amidst the thick darkness of the cave that caught my attention

Everything was already getting a bit creepy but I decided to go into the cave slowly to check it out and take some pictures with my cameras. 'Who knows if it might just be a treasure that would change my life. mportant things comes in a crazy ways you know'

With a determined mind, I slowly walked into the cave; carefully and fearfully counting my steps but it was so dark that I had to use my tourch light. immediately i put the lights on, I began to hear a male voice crying so loud in the cave.

"Is there someone in here?, Hellooo" I said - walking fearfully into the dark cave with my tourch. The voice had already got me trembling in fear and I could feel my mind trying to warn me of danger ahead

All of a sudden the giant wall closed immediately shut me inside the cave and my heart melted like an ice.

" No!!!!" I screamed and ran with fear- back to the wall and trying to push it open with my hands. I became really afraid and shivering intensely in fear, knowing that that I had been shut inside and there was no way I could push open a mighty hard wall. Not even 50 men could.

The tension in me increased when my tourch light began malfunctioning till the lights went off

Now I was already loosing it...

I quickly brought out my phone and put on the flash lights and felt a bit relief. I tried to call david or any of my friends to inform them of where I was but got really disappointed when I realized there wasn't any service in the cave and this alone got me sweating profusely in fear.

After hours of struggling with the massive wall, I finally gave up and turned my attention to the voice I heard. As I approached the source of the sound, the beam of my flashlight revealed a frightening sight. A tall, shrouded figure stood before me, his long hair swaying in the breeze. The red mask he wore obscured his features, making him seem even more menacing. I watched in horror as he raised his hand, brandishing a huge, razor-sharp garden fork. I knew in that moment that I was in serious danger.

It looked like the devil was standing in front of me; which made me began to imagine if I was in hell already, or maybe I finally found a portal on Earth that leads to hell.

I could see blood dripping from the red veil around his neck. I screamed so loud in fear but no one could hear me; instead, it only seems to get him angry.

his anger was what I couldnt explain ......

"Am so so so dead right now," I said to myself - shivering as he began walking close to me ..................................
