MOROS.
Of course, I'm still on with my decision. Now I hate men in general and I don't want to be under any of them. Including MY FATHER.
I will not be wed off by force or secretly, so me and Rosette devised a plan for me to escape. To where? My aunt Margreth.
She's the forgotten member of the family who I'm extremely scared of. Both my parents and the entire family know that I can't possibly go live with her because of a certain "incident" where she slapped me in front of everyone.
But in this situation, she's the best person I could go to. Because she faxed the same situation as I.
It's such a sweet sorrow to leave my father, but I'm afraid it has to be this way.
According to plan, I and my family will ride in three coaches. One for father, one for mother, and the last one for me.
It's sad that Rosette isn't coming with me because she has to ride with the other servants. Also, if we were in the same coach and I disappeared with her, father will accuse her of abduction.
So, I and my friend Diane dress in the same gowns. All it took was for my mother to see me in it. But since I'm supposed to cover my face, Diane will enter the coach instead of me.
I talked to her about it, and she was actually willing to sacrifice a journey to Vorlos and back just to help me. Note: the perfect best friend.
All she had to do was cover for me throughout the journey, and everything went as planned.
It went stupidly well.
Although, I made sure not to tell Diane what city I was going to and to who I was going to, just to be safe. And Rosette, she's the best at keeping secrets. Trust me.
It's too bad they'll all spend their time looking for me. Well, it's better this way.
VORLOS.
"Where is she? I thought you're daughter agreed to this marriage."
"She did. She just dared to defy me this time."
The disaster Ella caused was that it wasn't the king who would be angry. The king feared that the Prince would be furious. And he was coming. Very soon.
"Can't we postpone the marriage? Until Ella is found?"
"That is possible." the king answers, "but my son, I've heard, is a man of prudence and precision and doesn't like to be taken lightly, or matters lightly. We've had our personal differences that have not been settled, and I didn't want him to come and find things unprepared for his crowning, according to his expectations."
