Her pov

one of the reasons I was looking for Arthur was to apologize for Everything.

But this was something unexpected I sat at a nearby bench and pressed my palms over the papers trying to straighten it,a little.

"What have you done scott and why?"I questioned myself in surprise.

I went to page 6 to read the complete story.it,wasn't much actually.Seems like the media only knew the final verdict but no details.

Scott turned himself in for attempted rape but didn't disclose my name to the media . A sentence of 20 years imprisonment has been the final verdict by the judge.

And also payed tribute to Aurora and her unborn baby.

J closed the paper and leaned my head back, staring at the pale blue sky and clouds."What to do now?"I whispered to no one.

I sighed,looking at the newspapers again.This was true,it actually happened.He is really sentenced to jail.,I pressed the newspapers straightening them more.

I gently and neatly folded them and put them inside my purse. "Let'sdrop you some place nice."I said to the newspapers.,I stopped a cab and got in.After forty minutes,I finally reached my destination."You can stop here."I told the cab driver.

I paid the driver and got out.I walked to the place I hadn't visited in over a year.,"How are you?"I said looking at the grave, Aurora Sebastian.A loving sister and mother.Find peace where you are.'.,I sighed,smiling sadly,

"I am sorry for not coming sooner.I have been busy can't believe I got married to your brother","I didn't get you flowers this time.I got you something better.",I leaned and put the neatly folded newspapers on the grass.

"I got my revenge aurora .He's finally in jail even though has asked for my forgiveness.",I kneeled down and pressed my fingers on,the grave."

I sighed, looking at the dried up whiteflowers."See you were loved, Look at all these flowers.",I fought my tears, my lips trembling.

"I hope we find peace now. He's is gone now for years and I think he regrets all that he did.",I breathed out.

"I'll visit you soon okay? Don't,miss me too much.",I patted the grass gently and got up.

Taking one last look at the grave and let one tear silently roll down my eye.

I turned and started to walk back,my head hung low as I blinked and urged myself tonot turn into a sobbing mess.

I stopped suddenly as I saw a pair of blackboots a few feet away. I slowly glanced upand almost fainted at the sight.

"Arthur?"i,whispered, I blinked multiple times,wondering if i was dreaming.

Standing in front of me was Arthur dressed in a black suit with a bouquet ofwhite lilies in his hands.,I gulped,as I stared at him.He looked tired,and equally surprised to see me.,"What are you doing here?"His raspy voice sent a shiver down my spine and justbrealized how much I had truly missed him.

"I-uh."I pointed behind me at the cemetery."I came to see her.",He nodded,looking down awkwardly and,tapping left feet while I was playing with my fingers nervously.

There was so much I wanted to ask him,so much I wanted to tell him,so much I wanted to hug him

.But all I could do was stand there uncomfortably and silently.,"Okay then."He said,turning to left and walking ahead.

I staring at his retreating back and pressedmy lips together.If I lose this chance to talk to him,I would not get another one, So I took a deep calming breath and then ran after him,"Arthur!",He turned surprised."Yes?",I stopped just a few feet away from him.

I opened my mouth but words didn't comeout."Gosh!"I whispered to myself wanting to bang my head against a wall.How can I be speechless at a time I want scream?

"Do you want to get coffee after this?",I blinked,stunned at the words."Huh?"I squeaked out.

Arthur raised one eyebrow in amusement."Coffee?",I nodded aggressively.

"Yes,yes,definitely.Coffee soundsgood.Yes!" Arthur just nodded."Wait outside,I'll come in a few minutes.",I nodded again.

"Yes,okay! I'll wait.",I took a few steps back,smiling gratefully at Arthur before turning and running outside.

" I heard everything and I'm so sorry I didn't know he tried to rape you" Arthur said being very remorseful.

"I guess I would be receiving the divorce letters right" he asked with sadness in his eyes.

Her Pov

I let him see the sincerity in my eyes,the love ,the hope and even the pleading in them.

"I can't forgive you."i informed."Not yet.",he nodded."I understand."

"It will take some time.Maybe even months." I Said to which he nodded again.

"I will wait.","Years?",I looked at him and smiled gently.

"I'll wait.These one month has been horrible because I didn't know if you would ever forgive me,if you would even want to see me again.But now if there's even a slight chance for us,I'll be okay.I'll try.I'll wait.Tllendeavor.Good things don't come easy andyou are one of those for me.",he said

"How cheesy are you.",I reply as my smile widened.

"I try.",he said.

"I love you Caroline, Mia Cara"

Funny how these were the words I wanted him to say or this was how I hoped our coffee outing would go but instead it went like this.

Flashback

"I can't serve you divorce papers cause of some complications and my lawyer has advised us to stay married.", Arthur stared at me and this time I didn't look away.

"I can't forgive you."i informed."Not yet.",he nodded."I understand."

"It will take some time.Maybe even months before I can come back ." I said to which he nodded again.

"I guess I canl wait." He replied

"Years?",I looked at him and smiled gently.

"You and I both now that would just give the media a reason for our family to be out in the light, Caroline, so make your decision quickly for your family sake" he said

"How cheesy are you.",I reply rolling my eyes

"I try.",he said.

"I miss you though, Mia Cara. Have a nice day" he said getting up from his seat and walking out the coffee shop
