CHAPTER 8.1

The weekend came by so quickly.?

Adrianna was happy that she would be spending the whole of it with Elijah.

She wasn't really worried about Mustapha, since the last text he didn't call nor text her and she was glad.

She wished it would go on like that till he'd forget her but Mustapha being who is he was only laying low for some days.

Elijah was in the living when a letter came in. He checked the seal and saw it was for Adrianna, he called out for her from the kitchen.

"What happened?" with an apron around her neck and cleaning her hand on her jeans short.

He stretched out the letter to her "this is for you" she collected it from him, he returned his attention back to the TV show he was watching.

Adrianna went back to the kitchen, tearing open the letter. It was from the son of the devil, with a picture of them in her car having sex. the son of the devil had taken some shots with his phone.

In the letter addressed to her with a note of warning that if she tries anything smart he's going to ruin her.

She rested her arms on the table and rested her head against it, moving back and forth.

Adrianna knew she was finally done for. She heard Elijah's footstep and quickly hid the picture inside the apron and changed her facial expression,?he entered the kitchen,? eyeing the letter.

"What's in it?" he queried while scratching his stubble.

"An address from an old friend" she retorts fast. Her breathes sounding hard.

"Are you okay Babe?" he asked.

"Yeah I am, breakfast will be ready soon". he turned to leave but she called him back.

"Honey,?I'd be going out later by 12 pm with Savannah. she wants to go shopping. I figured out I'd like to do some shopping too" she said her facial expression looking sexy to her fianc??.

He walked to where she was and hugged her from behind and kissed her.

"Have fun babes, make sure you settle me with foods" he shouted on his way back.

"Phew, that was close" she wiped her forehead with her palm.

"Adrianna c'mon hurry up" Savannah shouted, hands on her waist. Adrianna ran out to meet her adjusting her long sleeve see-through top.

"I'm sorry" she apologized smiling, Adrianna adjusted her spectacles and sat behind the wheel, while Savannah took a seat at the front passenger seat. She ignited the car.

Savannah rummaging through her friend's bag for the letter and pictures she received earlier that morning.

"That guy is a mad man" she hissed.

They got to the clinic and headed for Dr. Raymond Hannah's office.

"Hi Savvy" she smiled lovingly and opened her arms out, she quickly embraced her.

"It been a while, Savvy" she gestured for them to take a seat.

"You must be Adrianna, your friend already told me about you, so I had to reschedule the appointments for today," Dr. Hannah said, her gaze on Adrianna.

Nervously chewing on her lips "yeah I am" She looked elsewhere, not catching the therapist's gaze. As if the woman knew she told Savannah to excuse them.

"I'd be in the cafeteria, meet me there" she nodded at her and squeeze her shoulder lightly and left.

Dr. Hannah removed her glasses on the table and folded her arms on the table,?she spoke.

"Now it's just me and you, feel free to say and ask anything, I'm here to help you okay," she said.

"Okay" Adrianna nods now looking at the woman in from of her.
