Chapter 8: Charms

All I could do was yell my lungs out, my feet dragging me away from Yoongi's bedroom. The first thing that came on my mind was Jeon Jungkook. He was the first person I could run to. Hence, as I ran down the hallway, all the way to Jungkook's bedroom. I'm terified, and I have no idea why I needed Jungkook as of the moment.

It felt like I'm not being myself as my body completely controlled me over my own mind. I was just instinctively running towards his room with my footsteps dragging down the floor, and immediately knocked on his door—aggressively as my entire body trembled in fear.

"Eri?" Jungkook gasped, opening the door widely. My lips quiver, knees falling on the ground as my entire body landing directly in his arms.

"Eri-yah," Jungkook took a deep breathe as I gasped some oxygen. "Are you okay?!"

"J-Jungkook," Tears started to fall down on my cheeks, sobbing like I've never cried in my whole life. I was frightened and petrified for all I know. "H-Help me."

"Why? What happened? Why are you here? Where is Yoongi hyung?" He started to throw some random questions but I couldn't answer them at all. I was too focused on the main thing.

My clothes.

"M-my clothes...!" I choked out my words, continued to sob. He wrapped his arms protectively around me, and I unconsciously hugged him back tightly with my face snuggling on his neck as he comforted me with a hush and gentle pat on my back.

"It's okay, baby..." He cooed, rubbing my back. Somehow, his words and warmth embrace brings comfort to me. "Tell me what happened."

"J-Jungkook..." I sobbed on his shoulders. I wouldn't even doubt that Jungkook is now cringing with my tears wetting his shirt now.

"Hush...calm down." He pulled away, hands gripping on my shoulders while looking at me deeply in the eyes. "Calm down and tell me what happened."

I managed to calm myself, breathing in and out. "M-my clothes." I purred, feeling him look at my clothes.

"What about your clothes?" Jungkook raised his eyebrows, gazing up and down. "You look absolutely gorgeous though?"

My eyebrows furrowed as his statement—it wasn't a statement, it was a question or rather an unsure statement. I glanced down at my clothes, and gasped. I wasn't wearing the dress anymore. My clothes that was supposed to be a whole beautiful white dress was replaced with my tee shirt and pants paired with converse shoes already.

What?

"You must be tired." Jungkook sighed, picking me up in a bridal style making me a little bit startled. I just let out a breath, wrapping my arms around his neck for support before nuzzling on his chest.

"I w-was so scared, Jungkook." I stuttered, closing my eyes and feeling myself drooping to sleep already. My body calmed down for a bit—shaking was now lesser, feeling Jungkook's touches on my skin.

He helped me sit at the edge of the bed as he bent down, untying my shoe lace. Silence overtook the whole room, not until his words formed a lump on my throat.

"I will be here to protect you..." He murmured under his breath, thinking I couldn't hear him but I did. "I will protect you from them."

I just stared him at him, confused for a whole minute before watching him threw the shoes across the room. He leaned towards me, hand grabbing the blanket behind me with his other hand pushing me gently on the bed. I just laid there, frozen, as he tucked me under the blanket, tenderly.

He sat beside me, started humming a familiar song. Have I heard it before? It was a sweet melody in my ears—that instead of just Jungkook's voice that should be heard, I heard different beautiful manly voices that harmonized together.

It was beautiful.

"Jungkook?" He hummed in response. "Have I heard that song before?"

He nodded with a smile, patting my shoulders ever so slightly and lovingly. "You liked it when I sing a song everynight especially with the boys. We used to sing you a song for you to sleep."

"The boys?" I raised my eyebrows. He nodded.

"Everynight, we gather around in your room and sings you a song. It was a great memory until—" He frowned, looking down as he sighed.

"Until?" My lips parted, waiting for him to continue.

But instead of an answer, he just gave me a smile. "Go to sleep. I know you are tired."

I just gave him a warm smile, not wanting to ask anything before nodding. But then words came out of my mouth, unconciously. "Can you sleep with me?"

Jungkook's eyes widened in astonishment. "Eri—The hyungs will be mad at me if I sleep with you knowing that you are supposed to be with Yoongi hyung tonight."

"I don't care." I grumbled, gripping the blanket on me. "Just sleep by my side tonight."

"But Eri—" I cut him off with me grabbing his hands.

"Please..." I pleaded, looking at him with a half closed eyes as my hands gripped his wrist. "Sleep beside me. I'm scared."

I knew that Jungkook would give because deep in my heart, I just know even though in my mind, I just met him not too long ago but it felt like years. But what can I say? I lost my memories, right? It must be my instinct, and the fact that he is my boyfriend.

"Alright." He smiled at me, making me relax as my hands dropped down.

A smile formed on my lips, feeling him tucking himself underneath the blanket with me. Feeling his arms wrapping around my waist with warmth and affection as if I was his, I honeslt felt so safe. He pulled himself closer to me, sensing his hot air hitting the flesh of my nape.

My conciousness are slowly leading me to darkness, feeling my eyes weighing down. But before I could fall asleep, I heard Jungkook whisper.

"It's such a pressure for me because I know that can't have you the way that I want." His words tickled my neck.

_______________

The next morning, I was startled and jolt up from bed to see Jin barging in Jungkook's room with worry clearly written all over his face.

"Princess?" He gasped, probably surprised by my presence in Jungkook's bed and maybe shock as his eyes landed on the person beside me because Jungkook is right freaking there?

"Jeon Jungkook!" Jin screamed, walking towards us. He gritted his teeth in frustration, and my mouth went wide. Oh my, why is he being like this?!

"Hyung!" Jungkook screeched, abruptly standing up on his feet. "I can explain!"

"How many times do I have to tell you that you are not supposed to sleep with Eri?!" Jin hissed, glaring at Jungkook.

"Hyung, I swear—"

"Jungkook." I called out making them both halth and looked at me. "Don't explain anything to him."

Jin huffed in disbelief. "Eri—"

"Don't." I stopped him by raising my hand, groaning. "I don't want any fight early in the morning. I don't want to have massive headache during classes."

Jin sighed, giving up and just nodded. Hence, I could still feel his eyes glaring at Jungkook.

"The others will be here." Jin started a proper conversation. "Yoongi informed me last night about what happened."

Jin's hands formed a fist. "That jerk. Just what did he do to our princess? Why did Eri ran here from Yoongi's bedroom feeling scared?"

I blinked, remembering what happened last night. Was everything that happened a dream? Was I hallucinating things? It couldn't be, right? Or maybe, I did? Should I tell him?

"Nothing oppa." I smiled reassuringly, but giggled when I remembered something. "But oppa..."

Jin stepped forward, waiting for my reply. I laughed, mocked and teased him. "Shouldn't I be the one to call you Princess Jin?"

Jungkook and Jin's head snapped at me—looking surprised all of a sudden making me wonder. I gulped. "Is something wrong?"

"You remember?" His face lit up.

"What is?" My eyebrows furrowed. "Me calling you princess Jin?"

Jin nodded with his lips slowly curving into a smile. And that's when it hit me as my expression turned into a frown. How did I know that? What princess? What the hell am I blabbering right now? I stared at him blankly.

Jungkook interrupted, going back to the main topic. "By the way hyung, Why didn't Yoongi hyung ran after Eri last night?"

"Why? Did something happened to her last night? Was our princess really scared?" Jin questionned, looking at me.

I snapped out of my trance—looking at him in utter disgust, unknowingly.

He should stop calling me princess.

He turned to look at Jungkook, groaning. "Regarding that,"

He paused. "Yoongi was so scared. He did not know what to do, so he just called me in the middle of the night feeling guilty about it, and telling me that Eri just ran."

Jin faced me again, bending on his knees a bit to meet my eyes. "Eri-yah. What really happened? Can you tell oppa?"

"Don't worry, oppa." I smiled. "I am fine."

But I'm really not.

And then Jin just nodded, standing straight up before standing in front of Jungkook. He suddenly smacked Jungkook's head making me slightly gasp.

"You bunny!" Jin hissed.

"Hyung! Why did you hit me?!" Jungkook was flustered, rubbing the back of his head–where Jin hit him.

"I kept on banging your door last night yet no one even opened! Even the whole dorm woke up!"

I just laughed at both of their bickerings. The eldest and the youngest of the Y.M. Class.

So childish yet so lovable. The boys, I could say are rather charming.
