Chapter 10 : How to Propose a Girl?

It was 9:15 am when I opened my eyes. I got ready and reached office by 10.30 am. She had reached earlier than me. Her face was glowing with a smile as soon as she saw me. I smiled at her.

“Why are you late?”

“Sorry, I woke up late since I slept late. By the way, what were you doing?”

“I was going through the document which you shared yesterday.”

“Good, any doubts?”

“No doubts. But have a question about you. Are you a humorous Speaker?”

“How do you know that?”

Then I realized I had kept few certificates and trophies on my desk which I won during Humorous speech contest.

I said “Only Few people used to call me in that name. How about you? Do you have interest in extra-curricular activities? “

She unlocked her mobile and showed a picture to me. The picture consists of trophies which were more than 50 in numbers, arranged beautifully in a shelf. Most of the trophies were small. Looked like that she was active and a winner during her childhood days.

I teased her “Did you buy them from some shops or all belongs to you?”

“All the trophies in the picture are won by me. From my 3rd standard, I started participating in my school singing contest. I was like a star during my school days. During College days, my dad asked me to concentrate more on studies. Hence I didn’t participate much.”

Every parent asks their children to focus more on their studies. Hardly few exceptions. I wanted to be her FB friend to know more about her.

“Are you using Facebook.?”

“Yes.”

“Do you get friend request from strangers?”

She showed the list of friends request which was not accepted by her. I was surprised, there were almost 945 contacts which were not accepted by her, and she had also blocked 142 contacts. I handed the phone back to her. I got a notification message in my mobile. I accepted her friend request with a smile. We exchanged our mobile number as well.

“By the way which topic did you present for humorous speech?”

“How to propose a girl?”

“What?”

“You heard right”. She laughed, asked me what I talked during the speech. I told her that I would let her know later with a smile. I had a fear whether she would avoid me after hearing my speech. I remembered my speech.

How to propose a girl?

A legend said, “If you want to propose your love, you need not think twice. Do not delay, propose her right away”. I am strongly against these words.

Is anyone in love with some girl? Are you confused how to propose her?

Do not worry. Every boy feels the same kind of nervousness.

Before proposing a girl, you are supposed to complete the CL Manual. CL stands for competent Lover manual.

The manual consists of 7 golden chapters. It will boost your confidence. You could express your love without any fear.

Project 1: “Research your Lover”

This project clearly states that “Make sure that your lover doesn’t have any boyfriend.” If she has, find the other girl or wait till their relationship breaks. But you don’t break their relationship for your personal gain.

If she doesn’t have any lover, start researching of her favorite food, actor, color, hobbies, movies, the more the better. After the completion of your research, you can move towards the next project.

Project 2: “Get to the point”

Three objectives of this project are

Make yourself noticeable in front of her.

Find time to greet her proactively by saying “Hi”, “bye” to her with a smile daily.

Be bold and ask her “If you don’t mind, can I get your mobile number?

Project 2 is completed as soon as you get her number.

Project 3: “How to say it?”

Most of us make mistakes in this project by messaging her the three golden words “I Love you” through WhatsApp or SMS. In this project, you are supposed to talk with her in mobile for atleast 3 hours a day. So that we can make sure that she is not going to talk with someone else.

Make sure that she disconnects the call first. If you don’t know how to continue your conversation, you can use the magical fillers “Ha-ha”, Yes, “Super yaar” or “Any other special news? For multiple times. Girls are great speakers, you should be a good listener by using these fillers.

Project 4: “Body Language”

Body language plays a vital role at the time of your proposal. So, start rehearsing now. Don’t use Macho style while expressing your love. One of the old fashion ways of expressing love is bow down on your knees, your hand should be in this position. Do not do this type of body language.

Have a good eye contact with her. Don’t frighten her by giving weird looks. She should feel the love in your eyes. Avoid wearing sunglasses. Have a pleasant expression in your face

Project 5: “Vocal Variety”

3 Magical words are worth when you are delivering it with a smooth voice tone. Your voice should have normal pitch rate and pauses between each word. Avoid eating ice creams and drinking cold beverages till you propose her. It may affect your voice.

Project 6: “Get Comfortable with Visual aids”

In this project, you should get comfortable in choosing the right greeting card, Chocolates, other gifts based on your lover’s character, color preferences and the research which you did on project 1. Girls like flowers, don’t forget to buy red rose for your lover. Buy fresh red rose for her.

Final Project 7: “Inspire your lover”

Girls love romantic moments and special occasions. Drive her to the beach, when the sun is just going to set. Plan for a dinner along with her favorite dish, her best-loved music which would make her feel special about her. You can propose her after having dinner.

After your proposal you can expect 3 kinds of expression from her

“Wow, I was dying to hear these words from you.” And my answer is “Yes”.

“No, I considered you as my brother/ friend.”

“I am already engaged.”

If she accepts, have party with her. If she rejects, have party with your friends or roommates. Don’t forget to invite me to the party.

Based on my research, she didn’t have any boyfriend. Her favorite color was orange, favorite actor was Prithivraj, favorite food is beef parotta. She loved singing, dancing, anchoring and Photography.

Her weight was 59 kg and she was 5 feet 4 inch tall. But I was 88 kg and 5 feet 8 inch. She was good in character, looks sexy and attractive. Due to these qualifications, I could see a lot of guys behind her. Time for me to get into the competition with them.

I completed my project one and two since I got her number as well. Time to do my Project 3 with her. Followed by 4 more projects.
