Isabella's POV
When I got out of the hair salon with my new, kind of short hair, I felt like a whole different person. I liked the way it had turned out. My hair had it's own ombre effect that it started as brown and the ends were blonde so my natural curls made it look even better. When you looked at it from distance the colours blended and it turned auburn.
You could tell that I was a decent woman with green eyes, auburn hair, long legs and a somewhat skinny body. Although I had some sort of confidence, I was still a bit shy, but I made sure to not let people know of that part of me.
After walking down the street for a while with the million thoughts of what I was going to wear in my head, I heard my phone ringing and picked it up.
"Yes Benjie?"
"Yes to you. You called me." Right. I had to ask him where was this holding, who was my boss, what was the name of the holding and that kind of things.
"Oh, okay you're right. So I wanted to ask where's this holding? Also who is my boss?"
"Oh, I totally forgot to tell you that damn info. Umm, the place is in 330 Hudson Street-" The line went dead. Thanks to Jesus I knew that street very well. I just didn't know there was a holding there.
"Benjie? Hey, Ben?" No response but the beep sound.
I put the phone back in my bag and continued walking down the street with my head down, deep in my thoughts until my head bumped into a hard chest.
"Oh my god!" I screamed in fear of burning the person in front of me because he had just spilled all the coffee that was in his hand to his chest when I bumped into him. "I'm s-so sorry! I didn't m-mean to! So sorry!" I finally lifted my head in embaressment to see the most goergous greek god I've ever seen in my entire lif- anyone has ever seen in their entire lives.
Adrian West, the billionaire.
"It's okay. Are you alright?" The handsome, sophisticated man in a dark blue suit asked me with concern in his hazel eyes.
HAZEL. My favorite.
"Who cares about me?! A-are you alright? Gosh, you have coffee everywhere on your suit because of m-"
"Shh. There's no problem, I have an extra one with me anyways." He tried to comfort me. I repeat, tried.
"Again, I'm really sorry. Is there anything I can do to help?" He didn't answer me. He just stared into my eyes with a mix of emotions. His eyes held concern, admiration, sympathy and... desire?
We both remained silent and stared at each other for a good five minutes in the middle of the street. I didn't know why it wasn't an annoying silence. It seemed that we both knew that we had to study each other's features for a while. There was this strange pull between us that I guess neither of us could explain.
Weird eh? Here comes weirder.
"You're so beautiful." He half-whispered, without the control of the words coming out of his mouth.
I blushed. Hard.
Why did he say that all of a sudden? He looked mesmerized, still not realizing that he called a random woman beautiful. Confidence? He definetly had that. Everybody could understand he had it in him by the way he stood. But, this was just awkward. A litte bit over the limits. Okay, he had all the right to find me beautiful and express it but you know... It kind of made me uneasy.
I lowered my head, tucked a strand of hair behind my ear. "Uhm.. Thanks I guess. Maybe I should get going." I had to leave the scene as soon as possible. This man could be a secret rapist under the name of a CEO for all I knew. Although, he didn't look like one with those fascinating eyes, sharp jawline, that brown hair that made him look even sexier-
Stop. Get a grip, Isabella.
I quickly waved at him, passed him and started walking away. Until a strong hand grabbed my arm and turned me around with ease. His grip was strong but his hold was gentle. Not the type that scares you to death. It was more of an apolagetic one.
This is like a movie scene. Oh God.
"Wait, please. I'm sorry, it just spilled out of my mouth. I didn't mean to scare you, actually I want to have a drink with you sometime."
Well, that was unexpected. I thought he would just apolagize and let me go but, a drink? That wasn't okay. This was Adrian West. It was dangerous to accept the offer of a womanizer. I was going to say no.
"Okay." What? What the fûck are you doing, Isabella?! You had to say no! It was his charms. Ugh, these men thought they could get every woman with their charms. Well, they could but no, not me. "Actually, forget what I said. I have to go." I turned around but he grabbed my arm again. It was hard for me to comprehend... Thought then I realized.
He was kissing me. I repeat, kissing.
The kiss was soft, possessive but soft. He moved his lips gently and slowly agaist mine. It took me a while to respond. Yes, I fricking responded. He deepened the kiss. Our lips moved in snyc. Then he put the hand that held my arm at the back of my neck, to press me more against his lips. Without the control of my actions, I dug my hands inside his hair and continued kissing him with passion.
I was kissing a famous billionaire, passionetly than ever, in the middle of the street, with tons of eyes on us.
