CHAPTER 2
BREI'S POV
We were given break time before checking the exams, and Prof. said Aragon, don't let us go home immediately after checking. We only have half a day today because of our law examination. I'll tell Mom that I might be a little late coming home. I promised her that I would come home at 1:00 PM, but maybe I will arrive home at 2:00 PM.
"Hey, there is a transferee." Rana grabbed my attention.
We're hearing it in the cafeteria right now. I'm eating our food because I didn't have breakfast earlier.
I still can't get out of my mind what happened earlier. His words keep ringing in my head; they keep repeating, and I try to get rid of them, but I really don't want to.
I'll get the perfect score. What does he mean? I mean, he didn't even read my answers, but he said it like he was already sure.
"Who?" I asked Rana while sipping on my milk tea.
"Woman. I don't know her name, but she is our classmate. He will be introduced tomorrow." She said.
It will be introduced tomorrow, but he already knows that there is a transferee. Sometimes, Rana is so gossipy.
Our break time ended, and we got ready to go back to the room to check our test papers. I just hope that what Vius said is true, because it is also a big opportunity if I get a perfect score.
We headed back to our room and sat in our chairs. Later on, Vius and Raegan entered the classroom. It looks like they are also from the cafeteria; maybe I just didn't notice because my mind was too busy with what he said earlier. What made me wonder even more is: Why did he tell me the answers? He can explain or whatever, but I'm not complaining; I'm even thankful.
"You will not check your own test papers, okay? In short, exchange with the neighbor so there is no cheating." Raegan said, "Then give us a minute to exchange our papers.
I looked at the paper I was holding. I'm checking Kaori's paper.
I swallowed because of nervousness. I know Kaori; she is very sensitive when something is wrong with her answers. He might fight me or something. I hope not!
We started checking. Raegan is in front of us, leaning his back to the teacher's table, while telling us the answer keys.
The checking has ended, and we are starting to count the corrects and wrongs.
Kaori's score is... Oh my God! This is not happening!
79/100.
Oh God. Is this the end?
"Okay. Go back to the owner." I returned the paper to Kaori, as Raegan said.
I bit my lip when I saw her reaction. She's frowning while looking at her score.
"Why is it so low?" He asked it out loud.
Is this what I'm saying?
Our classmates looked at him; even Vius and Raegan were looking at him.
"Who checked my paper?" She asked irritably.
"Who returned your paper?" Rana asked flatly.
I want to stop him, but I can't move from where I'm standing.
"You?" he asked me.
I parted my mouth to say something, but I refused to speak because he might be triggered even more. I just nodded my head.
"What's the problem, Miss?" Raegan approached me.
"I'm Kaori. My score is low; I did a review last night. Are you serious, Brei? Look! It shouldn't be like this! You cheated my score; you bit—"
"It's not her fault that nothing got into your narrow mind, Ms. Kaori." We turned to that cold voice.
Vius...

BREI'S POV
"B-but she—"
"She's the one who checked your paper. You can't do anything about it." He coldly said
Vius looked at the paper Kaori was holding.
"How many times have you reviewed the law?" He asked her without any emotion.
"Just yesterday and the day before." Kaori stuttered. Is he afraid?
"Well, you know, it takes a year to learn about the law. Not just one or two days. You can't even recite to us the whole Republic Act. You can't even do the political engagement, and finally, you're not a law student. So, why are you taking this so seriously? If this fvcking 79 score bothers you, then fvcking take a law and drown yourself in the reviewers. You can't take a year to study law, so don't fvcking complain and fvcking accept it." Vius dangerously said.
We were all scared there, and Kaori paled because of what she was seeing now. Vius's face was dark, and anger was evident in his eyes. I took a step back because I had just seen him like this. I mean, I've seen him angry before, but not this angry.
he left with Raegan behind him and us? I'm still speechless here.
"The captain is really scary." I heard one of my classmates whisper.
I would have cried earlier if Vius hadn't answered him. I pouted, then looked at Rana, who was worriedly fixing my hair.
I looked at Kaori, who was pale and trembling.
"Hey Kaori, what are you doing there?" Renzo loves him.
"N-he's s-scary!" He screamed and started crying.
His OA.
"If you cry, he's artistic." Tss." Rana said.
"Let's not go home," Prof. said. I said.
"Why are you stuttering? Are you afraid of him too?" She asked when she noticed that I was having a hard time speaking.
"No. I was just shocked. I just saw him like that." I honestly said that, then looked back at Kaori, who's now crying, and Tina, her best friend, is comforting her.
I shook my head, then waited for Prof. Aragon to arrive.
After a minute, Prof. Aragon entered the classroom and asked us if we were okay because she knew what had happened here. Raegan told her maybe.
"Okay, let's proceed to my important announcement." He tasted it. "Next week, we will have our intramurals. Monday is now, so you have time to pick a sport that you want to join. We have volleyball, basketball, chess, archery, etc. This intramural is very special to us because we will be having special guests. "So please, I hope you join the sporty ones." She stopped for a while, then spoke again. "Tomorrow, we have a transferee. She will introduce herself tomorrow."
"She? Chix pre!" I heard the man in the other row say
Is she nice? I hope so.
