Insatiable Desire

CHAPTER ONE

BREI'S POV

"Bye Mom! I'm leaving!" I shouted goodbye because Mommy was in the kitchen. Oh God, I'm late, and I don't have enough time to eat breakfast.

"Take care, baby!"

Minutes have passed, and we have arrived at Royale Academy. This has been my dream school since I was in elementary school, so I told my mom that I wanted to study here, and she agreed, as did my dad, who's now in his office, busy doing his business stuff.

My mom is a famous model and a fashion designer, while my dad is the C.E.O. of a big company here in the Philippines, and you know what's exciting? His business partner is the President of the Philippines, and the shocking thing is that they have been best friends since they were kids.

I know, I'm a little bit... what's the word? what? Yeah, I'm not really fluent in Tagalog because I grew up in Los Angeles with my grandma, but I came back here when I was... in high school? I think. I can't remember because it's been so long.

I'm here in the hallway, and I ran because I'm out of time because our first class might have started, and worse, I might get detained suddenly. I really hate detentions because I saw how hard it is when my best friend, Rana, gets detention because she's so late.

I even fixed my uniform because I didn't fix it right away because I was in a hurry to leave the house.

I got to the room and... whoo! The professor is not here; I'm safe!

I went straight to my seat and faced Rana.

"Professor isn't there yet?" I ask.

"Not yet. It's been a while," she said, then scrunched her nose.

"It's a miracle that you're early today." I said, then chuckled.

"No! Didn't I say I wouldn't go through that detention again? It's irritating." He said he was annoyed, which made me laugh even more.

She really hates that. Well, me too, even though I haven't experienced it yet.

"Hey! "Did you hear Captain Vius is coming here with Raegan?" I heard someone shout. That's Kaori, my half-Japanese classmate.

"Why?!" Our vice president asked in a panic in the classroom. Shana.

It's obvious that she doesn't know what to do because My Vius is coming here! Yes, he's my Vius. He's my long-time crush! Since I met him in high school, I studied here, and I immediately met him because he's famous here, and he easily got my heart! He's a basketball player, and I'm his fan. I always watch their game when I can't go; I watch via live stream because sometimes their game is late at night and Daddy doesn't allow me at that time.

"Today is Observation Day, gga! "They will be observing us because we will be taking the law examination because the law and architecture students have collaborated." Yeah, Kaori is right.

Last week, Law and Archi got together because of some obligations that we had to fulfill. It's like a 2/2; law students will take the archi's as well as law topics, while us is the same. Law examination and Archi topics

We voted for this to enhance our communications with each other and the school's reputation.

I picked architecture because I suddenly noticed my skills in drawing and did some plates. My mom and dad allowed me to take this even if my dad wanted me to take business ads, but he still respected my decision, and I love him for that.

"Ayie! Are you happy with that?th that?" Rana was suddenly close to me.

"What?" I asked innocently.

I don't really know what she means.

"Your crush is coming here!" He sneered at me.

If he gets mad at you, you'd think his crush wouldn't come. Her crush is Raegan Villafuerte, one of the Black Dragons.

"So the two of them are assigned to us?" I asked.

"Yeah. They are both law students." She said then that she took her cellphone and took a selfie with it. I sighed and waited for Vius and Raegan to come.

I waited for a few more minutes when my classmates girls suddenly burst into tears. I looked up and saw my baby Viuuuuss! Ah, he's so handsome.

I'm just here, sitting and silently admiring him. He's so handsome from any angle; that's all. He's not smiling. He doesn't smile, and he speaks sparingly when I hear him talking to his teammates, but that didn't make me like him any less. I really admire and adore him. For the others, he's like a lion and a snobbish yet hot man, but for me, he's a cute little squishy handsome man!

I fell in love with him, especially with his eyes, which are an electic blue, and his cheeks, which are my favorite.

CONTINUATION OF CHAPTER 1

BREI'S POV

After them came Prof. Aragon, our advisor.

She stood up in front of us and then made us sit because most of my classmates were standing.

"Silence!" We choose to shut our mouths. "So as you can see, Captain Vius and Raegan are here to observe all of you. You will immediately understand their topics, and you can freely ask them if you don't understand the sentences of each item. But then, know your limits. I already reminded all of you to review and study their lessons and make sure that all of the topics will enter your brains. Please be quiet and professional. I will go to the guidance office because of a meeting for upcoming events this month." She eyed all of us. "Be good and listen to them." That's all she said, then left.

Vius and Raegan are in the corner of the classroom, and a chair was already prepared earlier, so they have been sitting there for a while.

Then suddenly, Raegan stood up.

"Captain is too lazy to speak, so I will speak." We laughed because of that.

I suddenly looked at my Vius, and I was surprised because he was also looking at me. I avoided it and tried to turn my attention to Raegan, who's now speaking in front, explaining what to do while holding the papers. I assumed that was the exam.

I looked at Vius again, but he was still looking at me. His stare is cold, but I feel like I'm going to melt because of the depth.

My heart beat so fast when I saw him smirk, and his eyes were full of amazement and playfulness. What is my Vius doing to me? I pouted mentally, then looked away because I couldn't take it anymore.

"Of course cheating is not allowed; I will kick the cheaters out." Raegan tried to be serious while saying that, but he couldn't stop because he laughed, so my classmates laughed too.

I looked at Rana, who was busy staring at Raegan. I sighed. She's too obvious right now.

"Okay, that's all. Then you can take all of this." He gave me the test papers.

I started answering it. I skipped the ones I didn't know and continued to listen to the familiar lessons to the familiar lessons. I reviewed last night, so I woke up late because I slept at 2:00 AM already.

The law is that hard, and now I wonder how Vius is taking this kind of hard work.

The items are 1–100, so it took us a while. I went back to the four I passed because I didn't know. I tried to understand, but nothing really entered my brain, and I had no idea which of the two choices I would choose.

I sighed, then looked at Vius and Raegan, who were busy reading a test paper. Maybe they read this paper too.

Should I ask them? It's embarrassing.

I pouted, then looked back at my paper. I read it again and again, trying to remember if I reviewed it last night or not.

I slapped my forehead. I really don't remember anything.

I looked at Rana when she suddenly stood up with her test paper and then approached Raegan. Raegan immediately noticed her and smiled at her. He must have asked.

I heard their conversation because I was close to where they were sitting and the room was quiet, so I could clearly hear them.

"Where are you struggling?" Raegan asked while staring at Rana. What?

"Here at numbers 6 and 10." He scratched his head. "I really don't remember what I reviewed last night, hehe." He said it shyly.

"Oh, it's just that..." Raegan taught her strategies for the questions, and she thanked him after.

Rana returned to the chair with a smile on her lips. I looked down at my paper and noticed that I hadn't answered the four questions.

I looked up at Raegan. Vius is already looking at me, while Raegan is still staring at Rana.

I widened my eyes when Vius suddenly raised his eyebrows at me. He's obviously asking me silently.

What surprised me even more was that he stood up and slowly walked towards my seat.

Every step he takes makes my heart beat fast and my hands get cold. I could feel the sweat on my forehead, and I couldn't wipe it away because of the nervousness and joy.

When he got close to me, he bent slightly to read my test paper with four blank numbers.

"Republic Act No. 128." He deeply said "That's the answer to number 17." He added and then read the other three numbers. "Winning the case is the answer in number 23, and objective orders are in number 27. "Wait, why is he telling me the answers?" And the last is Commerce Public Discussion," he said, then looked at me in the eyes.

I swallowed when I met his eyes. His face was quite close to mine, so I was surprised.

"You'll get a perfect score later." He said that and then went back to his seat.
