I lay on the bed and looked at the brown ceiling,thinking about the past. I placed my palms above my stomach and touched the ring which was around my left hand ring finger then I closed my eyes. I saw my mom screaming my name with fright. I could feel her like it's real. She seemed to be real because my visual was so clear. My thoughts were going on.

" Anna ",mom screamed with fright.

I heard her crying but my vision wasn't clear. The surrounding was blurry and my head was too heavy therefore, I couldn't open my eyes. I felt a weight on me but I didn't know why. Then someone ran their hand down from my neck which gave me goosebumps.I tried to open my eyes slowly but I failed then I tried again and I saw.....

I opened my eyes when I heard my ringtone. Those thoughts vanished when I heard my ringtone. I got up and sat on the edge of the bed then I grabbed my phone from the cupboard immediately before the call got cut. I looked at the screen and it read an unknown number.

"UNKNOWN number", I said to myself curling my eyebrows.

"Who the hell is this?"I questioned myself curiously. Then I touched the phone's screen and dragged the green call circle towards the red. I cleared my throat and moved the phone close to my left ear.

"Hello",I said softly.

"I know where you are",the voice replied.

"Who are you",I asked in a shaky voice but got no reply because the line was cut.

My palms began to sweat and my heart was beating faster than normal where I could hear my pumps clearly.

"It is him"

"How does he know where am I "

"How the hell did he get my number"

"Is he watching me"

Many questions were appearing in my mind. My head began to ache terribly.

"Anna,''I heard a voice from the doorway. I turned towards the right quickly and saw Amy. Amy walked in and sat down in front of me.

"Anna!What's wrong with you ?Why are you sweating?Why are you being tensed?Are you alright?Is your head aching?Shall we see a doctor?",Amy asked worriedly by holding my palm.I don't want to tell her about this. Amy doesn't know how our parents died and what really happened on that day because she was abroad. All she knows is that it was a car accident. Especially HE doesn't know that Officer James has two daughters.

"I'm fine",I replied by trying to make my voice normal but I couldn't.

Abruptly Amy stood up and she walked towards the wall cupboard. She opened the cupboard and took the pills out. She quickly walked towards Anna and sat in front of her again. She took hold of Anna's hand and placed the pill at the center of Anna's right palm.

"I'll get you water,drink these and rest,'' Amy said with a fake smile on her face.

Anna looked at Amy and smiled which made Amy smile slightly. Amy got up again and stood in front of Anna. She brushed Anna's hair from her face with her hand then she kissed her forehead.

During dinner everyone was gathered in the dining room. Jackie entered the dining room late. He walked in by looking at Anna's place. He pulled the chair and kept a step forward to sit. Jackie grabbed the fork from his plate and rolled some pasta around his fork.

"Where is Anna dear",Mom asked Amy by holding a glass.

Amy replaced her fork on the plate and looked at mom. The dining room was in silence and everyone was looking

At her.

"She's sick",Amy replied worriedly which made Jackie to immediately look at Amy.

"Why?What's wrong?",Jackie asked immediately.

Everyone looked at Jackie immediately which made him drop his fork on the plate with a loud echoing noise in the silent dining room.

"Hmmm I just ahh",Jackie murmured by rubbing the back of his neck.

"He is just being caring,"Jon said by tapping Jackie's right shoulder.

"Yeah,"Bray added by raising his eyebrows.
